Clear cache after every survey, not doing it. Bye.
After finding out that I needed to clear cache to do Pinecone Research surveys, I finally was able to do one. Then, the next one I clicked on wasn't working. So it seems that after every survey, you need to clear your cache. Not doing that. Goodbye Pinecone, it was nice until your recent changes.
Update has destroyed A Once Great Site
I have been a member for years and recommended them to many others but now with their new improved website it is a complete waste of time. You can spend hours trying to complete surveys to not get a single one. If you do get one, you do not get the the 3$ you used to get if you are lucky you will get 1$. Then there is the hassle of trying to redeem your points. It used to be very easy. I have been waiting a week trying to cash out what I had earned before the update. I have had to email multiple times and received all kinds of excuses. I still have not gotten it. In short, they have destroyed a wonderful and trustworthy site. It is now a glitchy, hoop filled waste of time. Asking you the same questions over and over then after spending 20 minutes or more gathering all kinds of information they say you do not qualify and you get asked to try another. I have tried multiple times on different days with the same result. What a shame that someone has destroyed what was a great online survey website. Do not waste your time here anymore.
The new change is horrible
The new change is horrible. I never had problems now they send me 10 + emails a day and they are closed as soon as you click on the link.
Used to be a great site.
I used to love this site but now it's horrible. They updated it and although it sends me plenty of surveys I never qualify. What's worse is I had 40 bucks in my account but now there's no Paypal just gift cards. I couldn't even cash all of it out. After over eight years I will be deleting my account.
No problems until website was changed
I've never had problems doing surveys, although they were few and far between. However, with the new and "improved" Pinecone website, I have not been able to complete any surveys. I get many survey offers each day and when I click on them I either get a response that I "don't meet the criteria" or "the survey is already full", even when I click on the survey link within a minute or two. I'm unsubscribing since I no longer consider Pinecone a legitimate survey site.
Don't waste your time points expire before you can redeem them!
Don't waste your time. They award you points but they are so far in-between that your points expire before you actually collect enough to redeem them. Had up to 800 points this last year unfortunately you have to have 1000 or ten dollars worth to redeem. Great business strategy though get enough customers to spread out the surveys and you never actually have to pay anyone!!!

Von einem vormals recht guten Umfragepanel direkt in die Unseriösität abgerutscht. Auf der Homepage wird mit der Einlösung der Punkte in Bargeld geworben. Nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen an einen sehr inkompetenten Kundenservice- der zunächst mit Standardantworten reagiert- nun die finale Antwort: eine Bargeldauszahlung erfolgt nicht mehr, nur noch Gutscheine ab 1.000 Punkte.
Das klingt nach Irreführung, sieht der Verbraucherschutz sicher ähnlich!

This website is a complete fraud and discrimination:
1. I watched 2 full episodes of the Russian utopian Space City
2. I replied to all further questions up to the end
3. I spent definitely more than 150 minutes completing the survey
4. Just because I speak Russian and made some negative comments and gave negative ratings, doesn't give you the right to discriminate me and terminate my survey.
5. You had collected all my answers from the full survey and I demand to be rewarded for my obedient participation.
Please, escalate my email to your manager and let them explain in details why my account was terminated from this survey.
Good value for my time
Have been doing the surveys on and off for the last year. Quick and easy, reward is very good value. Have cashed out £21+ in the past few months to pay pal with no issues.
"Karen Scott" is a rogue trader, dealing illegally
"Karen Scott" does not exist - and if she does, she is in the US, not in the UK, for anyone unsure on that. Pinecone Research may be being run by one person - their email responses make it seem that a 'representative' will get back to you, but all emails are signatures with Karen Scott's name. She is expiring points earned after a year of them not being withdrawn from you account, and she points to a clause in the terms and conditions that changed since I joined, and to which I have never been pointed to since. This is illegal. I was also not able to access my account during Covid due to a problem with their website. This was proven by me, beyond 'any' doubt. My points were stolen from me then too due to inactivity, despite not being able to access the website. This was also illegal. 'She' will respond to emails as if it's the first time she's seen them and ignore previous correspondence once you point her to it. She will use stock replies and phrases in an attempt to shut down discourse. All for the sake of around £50. She will then stop replying to emails and the only way of getting in touch again due to the time limit on her email system is to start the process again via the website where she resets her brain and forgets she has ever spoken to you. We are now preparing a legal letter. I will pay for for fighting this on principle. All because she thinks the rules don't apply to her. Time for a class action? Post #PineconeResearchAction on Twitter and I will contact you.

New points expiry policy introduced without warning!
I have been completing surveys without issue since 2015. Recently checked my account to see that £30 of points has been 'expired'.
I complained citing the fact that this is a change of policy and it wasn't fair as I was not notified about the change. They refunded the points as a one off gesture. However, they persistently quoted the rewards expiration policy as if I was stupid and did not understand it rather than acknowledge they had changed the goal posts without letting their panellists know. I have cashed out my points and will think about whether I want to continue to do any more surveys for this company.
What on earth has happened here?
I've been a member of Pinecone Research for a very long time, but today was the last straw. It took me a year to earn enough points to cash out for $50 of gift cards, but upon checking my account to see whether these cards were mailed to me, I discovered that the redeemed points had expired. What a low blow, Pinecone... misleading at best. I have now unsubscribed and urge others to do the same.

An utter waste of time with little to no incentive
My second attempt at becoming a panel member was just as error ridden as my first. I’m always receiving links for surveys “that match my profile” and then they immediately crash and say “not eligible “
I’ve never received an offer to test a product. And the points rewarded for my time are quite ridiculous. At their going rate I’d be eligible for a 20$ giftcard in 5 years. What a scam
Gone downhill. Very sad.
I did a 45 minute $12 review and got NO credit. I filed a complaint and NO one replied. Tried again. No reply again.
Went to redeem my points. After a confirmation, I waited until I got the redemption code which usually comes in less than an hour. Four days later, NO code.
Help contact says there is a delay. Delay? Days? Weeks? Months? Years?
Sad. It was for many years a great way to make a few dollars which we used on Amazon. Sad.

The customer service is atrocious supplying standard cut and past responses without attempting to understand the issue in question.
The surveys are so few its barely worth the effort.

What happened to them???? They bait and switch you without warning. Surveys much longer (1 hour in length) than usual and still only given $3.00??? Taking away earned points without being given any type of notice that that is what was going to happen. Completing surveys until the end and not being given the points you just earned. They are now a company that steals your money and your time. They used to be good. NO LONGER.
