This company is a joke. Do not use this company they are a scam. Take your money and do nothing. BIG SCAM

Called to get a quote to have a fryer fitted.

Quote given over the phone of £438.

Refused to attend until payment was made which we naively and regrettably did.

Engineer arrived unannounced and declared further works would be required before he could begin and then proceeded to invoice us for a further £1900.

Called their office to find out why we were being charged for extra work, we were informed the gas pipe needed extending (it doesn't).

Called and spoke to someone who agreed to the refund and asked us to put it in writing, which we did.

Received an email this evening from someone called Adam informing us despite PHS not surveying the job before quoting, the £438 was non-refundable. We were not provided with receipt of payment nor any paperwork or agreement notifying us of terms of cancellation or fees applied. Based on the other reviews on here and Google it's clear that they make it up as they go along.

We will be lodging a complaint with Trading Standards and initiating a County Court claim shortly.

Do not give these cowboys your money.

This company charges £174 (inc VAT) for the first hour and then £150 for every subsequent hour. If they don't have the parts on them this rate applies while they go and get them (capped at one hour). That is £1224 a day.

When I realised this I cancelled. They would not refund my deposit. I have made a complaint to Trading Standards

The company has today complained that I left important detail which is misleading. They have pointed out the following, which I do not contest.

you canceled 1st time as not receiving a follow up confirmation of when was your allocated slot.

When you advised your concerns of potential costs escalating, i advised it was rare a boiler repair takes 4 hours.

I offered to cap your costs at 1 hour [no guarantee that boiler will be fixed within this period]

Your review is misleading to actual chain of events where every attempt to reassure you of any concerns.

I give you till 12 mid day today to amend or remove your review or i'll be forced to instruct a legal claim against you for damages.

I'm disappointed it has come to this when every effort was made to serve you correctly.

Still trying to get my money back from this company.. They turned up completely unprepared for the job, left after 5 minutes as he didn’t have the tools and was told the wrong information from the office and have the audacity to claim that their engineer “attended” which warrants £220. To this date I haven’t had a quote to actually complete the job and this was in January. When I called to follow up they just started screaming and swearing down the phone. Appalling company, please please avoid doing business with them. This isn’t an isolated incident, just read the Google and other TP reviews.

Waste time and money better call local handy mans

On Wednesday I booked this phsengineers ltd for repair my deep fryer. I agreed and signed for their hourly charges which is 160 plus vat . Their engineer assign on Wednesday morning.
1 Enginner was not on time as their agreed time .
2. Engineer was not in competence on their professional just time passing and make many from time waste.
3. The results of call engineer was completely lost of my money which finally they Engineer could not sort out problem just make story to drain more money from me.
4. He said I need change part of my fryer, ok then wait for partsqoatation which is shocking price they charging
I check with lencat brand which my deep fryer which price list 28 pound for heating elements but this company charging over 500 pound just for parts. Plus again service charges on basis hourly rates.
5 the interesting thing is they took 3 time money from my account, first one yes that is part of service charges but second 2 times taken from account without notice to me. But when I call them for explain simply saying that one was mistake and one was charged for extra 45 minutes charges. this company really there for looting and unethical means making money.
6. Customers like me please never ever try this dodge company. My advice to if happen like me just invest for new fryer, I am sure after fixed new part there are no grantee it will work again that means you have pay more money this company will continue entrangle you for ever.
8. The customers service lady also very arrogant towards customers she thinks we can loots any time.
Finally I lost over £300/- pound just visit of their dodge engineer and loots by this company.
Result is not sort out problem. If I continue with company I will loose many more money because this company out there for looting money. I better keep out off this Company. But I loose over £300/- just for nothing because I bond with their trapped company policy.
