Really good riding experience and good instructors. Very detailed in how to ride a bike, very helpful. Highly recommended.

Did my CBT here with Martin and it was a great experience. Having never touced a motorcycle before, Martin did a great job helping me learn and feel comfortable on a geared bike. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn to ride!

My Instructor was Lee at Leamington Spa Phoenix Motorcycle training and was fantastic. This was a half day back to biking course for someone who had not ridden a motorcycle in years. Lee was extremely patient, knowledgeable, tailored the training to individual student and made the session very enjoyable. The bike used was well prepared, and he was very through in his explanations of the controls, techniques and feedback given, particularly when out on the road. Prior to the course I had a number of questions / queries that were promptly and efficiently dealt with by the "back office" Phoenix staff. I would thoroughly recommend Lee, Phoenix and the session for those wanting to return to biking.

A recommendation from The Bike Shed last year reignited my journey back onto two wheels, and I’m so glad it led me to Phoenix Motorcycle Training.

Both Lee and Martin have gone above and beyond—not just as instructors, but as supportive, intuitive people who really understand how to cater to different learning styles and personal experiences. Having previously lost a friend in a road traffic collision, I carried a lot of anxiety. They both acknowledged that, and without judgement, helped me regain confidence at my own pace.

Their encouragement has genuinely transformed how I feel about riding—what started as a nervous return has become what I now call “throttle therapy.” I now look forward to getting on the bike, not just to pass a test, but because it brings me peace and joy.

It’s easy to see why Phoenix holds a gold rating. If you’re even slightly curious, I’d highly recommend booking a try session. Don’t approach it like a test—treat it as a valuable experience to learn something new and empowering.

I can’t stress enough how good this training place is , the instructor was patient & explained everything in detail on the whiteboard, I’m more than likely going back next year to do my full bike license

Martin was brilliant , knowledgeable and got me able to leave feeling very confident and safe, will be returning for my A2

My instructor was so patient and able to explain exactly what I should be doing.

They should Stay off social media and texting girlfriends while I’m training and they should be watching and observing and don’t have customers hanging around doing nothing while waiting for others to take their tests at test centres while customers should be riding and learning . Other than that they are nice guys who know what they are doing I would definitely recommend them .

Lee was my instructor for the DAS full A license and he's been amazing. Could not have wished for a better instructor. He breaks down issues very clearly and he will push you to perform beyond the expectation for the tests.

I'm also very pleased with how quick the team was able to get me in doing the course and the tests. Friendly and helpful on the phone as well!

I would highly recommend this training school if you're going for your full license tests

From the beginning of the course I was greeted with a vast amount of care and friendliness from my instructor. He continued with these Lovley traits throughout the entire training and test, ensuring that I was confident and safe. I believe that throughout and test you should feel comfortable to ensure that you perform at your best and Martin was excellent at this. I highly recommend phoenix.

Martian the instructor was very informative and helpful doing my CBT. Any mistakes or doing things wrong he helped in a calm helpful way to get his students on the road. The whole day for me was helpful and I’m thinking of doing my full bike license next year.

Bikes in great condition. The instructor was super helpful, supportive, experienced, friendly and communicated clearly on the road. There was access to toilets. Water/tea/coffee was also provided. Garage locked up when going for your 2hrs on the road so can safely store belongings there. Helmet, gloves, jacket are provided and were all in very good condition and all fit. Free parking on site.

My instructor Martin was fantastic. It was my first time riding a geared motorbike, and his fun yet professional demeanor really helped me kick the nerves I was feeling on the day. With excellent instruction, I went from wobbling around their private practice area to completing a full 2 hour road ride and obtaining my CBT!

Be calm, listen to Martins instruction and you'll pass with flying colours.

Definitely recommend!
