Such an amazing day spent riding trail bikes on Salisbury Plain with Phoenix Motorcycle Training. Justin and Adam, the Phoenix off-road instructors, demo'd and taught the group a series of off-road riding skills and then allowed us to practice on an off-road circuit adjacent to the Phoenix training school at Codford. Once we had practiced and reached a good level of confidence riding the provided Fantic 250cc bikes we were very quickly heading out onto the plains riding over 80 miles in a day across challenging terrain. All motorcycle gear was provided plus lunch too at a local farm shop cafe. Highly recommended to anyone considering giving it a go!

Can't fault it really!
Proper full day's riding, great bunch of people, varied terrain, good instruction, spectacular views and even a pretty decent lunch stop included.
Justin's knowledge of the area would be second to none.
Achieved things I didn't believe possible at the start of the day. Encouraged all the way, not even that much laughter when I took a dunking!!
Thoroughly enjoyed it and looking forward to going again.

Just got home from a Level 2 day on Salisbury Plain, I just can’t stop smiling 😁😁 Justin ( AKA The Salisbury Plain STIG ) has an amazing knowledge of the Plains, you just go from one Byway to another, and they just get better and better. The last time I rode off road like this was 10 Years ago, but I have just added a 250cc trail bike to my Christmas list. Hats off to Justin and ( sorry I can’t remember the other chaps name, but he was also absolutely brilliant) for making my day, and probably the highlight of my year.

What a great day! Sam and Justin were brilliant at putting everyone at ease and ensured we all got the best of the experience. The Salisbury Plain Stig’s local knowledge was awesome at finding routes suited to all with some stunning views along the way.
Would highly recommend and will be booking level 2 soon.

We had a great day with the friendly and knowledgeable staff they made it fun and we all learned a lot nothing was to much trouble and there was no pressure to do anything you didn't feel comfortable doing.would go again riding bikes with great views and like minded people who could ask for more

Great day. From the moment you arrive, you get a friendly welcome. Our instructors Justin and Sam were great. It was my first off road experience but they were very encouraging, offering advice and tips through out the day. I was well looked after all day , nothing was too much trouble. I was glad I took my own jacket and trousers, as kit provided was a little on the large side for me. A great overall experience. Would highly recommend Phoenix if you are thinking of an off road experience .

Great instruction delivered with humour and made everyone feel at ease.Fantastic full day of great trails and can’t wait to do level 2. Cheers guys.

Great day on Salisbury Plain.
Online booking was straightforward, all communications from Phoenix were clear, price was good value for money.
Following the postcode makes the location easyish to find, but I needed to get final directions from the staff in the Budgens shop close by. Greeted on arrival by Justin, the coach for the day. After getting the paperwork formalities out of the way we kitted up - the kit, provided as part of the package, is good quality. Out on to the bikes, a newish (20 plate) Honda CRF250L, before an evaluation session around a field / paddock. Having done that it was out onto the roads and trails. Justin knows the area like the back of his hand and chose suitable trails that matched the weather conditions - it was wet after quite a lot of rain, and my experience / ability - it was a Level 1 course. It was a full on day, starting at around 9 in the morning and getting back to their base around 3 in the afternoon.
Thoroughly enjoyed the day and will likely return a couple of times to build up my skills and experience.
