I started the day with just one day of off road experience but 30+ years on the road. How little did I know.....

They guys were great they took me through all the basics I would need at every stage, they picked the bike up each time I fell off (I did it alot, always my fault) and told me where I was going wrong and how to correct it. It probably didn't help that the rain was relentless and the tracks slippery.

It was a brilliant day, I learned plenty of how to control the bike and how I should control the bike. The instructors were patient with me as were the other riders in the group.

Today I ache from using muscle I didn't know I had and I am looking forward to going again, ideally in the dry...

Had an absolute blast at Phoenix Off-Road Trails Training School in Codford! 🏍️ From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. Big shoutout to Justin and Sophie, the instructors who really know their stuff. They made sure we got plenty of time on the bikes and allowed us to make mistakes in a safe, supervised environment.

The best part? Learning didn't feel like a chore. Justin and Sophie made it super engaging and were always there to offer tips and tricks. They've got a great teaching style—experienced but down-to-earth.

If you're looking to up your off-road game or just have an awesome day out, this is the place to be. Highly recommend! 👍

Our group of female bikers was welcomed and looked after by the brilliant instructors. Many of our group had never ridden off-road and were soon confidently riding the trails. Everyone was so happy with the experience. Huge smiles all round :)

The session of offroad training was excelent! The team paced us into harder tracks and was attentive to our evolution and if we needed a break too - very good skills and a personal approachable approach! Really recommend! I did not have much experience and this definitely has helped me and I gained so many skills in a few hours!

Fantastic all round experience from the moment I arrived until the end of the day / course. Tristan and Dennis , the staff / instructors for the day were knowledgeable and fun to be with . I would highly recommend Phoenix and the Wiltshire off road centre .

Just finished a level 1 Trial bike ride in Salisbury, with Justin and Roger. what an awesome day. Both instructors knew their stuff, the terrain and years of experience together with time and patience. This made the experience enjoyable for all the party from the more experienced biker to the rider who had not rode in 20+ years. We had fun we had falls we had slips we had laughs and they bought lunch. Thank you both for making our day weekend so awesome. It really is the instructors who can make the ride enjoyable….. right I gotta go bed, shattered Thanks again guys awesome day 👏

Brilliant day… even though the weather was awful I thoroughly enjoyed the experience…I was a complete beginner and with Jason’s patient guidance I did stuff I could never imagined I would be able to do! I didn’t think I could do it but did it anyway and learnt so much about myself in the process . Highly recommend Phonix Motorcycle Training Off Roading on Salisbury Plain!

Enormous fun! Terrible weather which made the day even more of a challenge and so much more fulfilling! We loved every minute - thanks to Justin for all the excellent advice and tuition. Brilliant!

The instructors Justin and Roger at the Salisbury trail riding center were brilliant. Everything was clearly explained and their attention to detail was excellent. They made sure we all got the specific help we needed and overall it was a great day from starting with getting used to the bikes in the field and then out on Salisbury Plains

I did the level 1 trail riding with Justin recently. I've always wanted to try offroad/trail riding. The day was fantastic, I didn't feel I was rushed. His knowledge of the trails meant that he could tailer the route to your skill level but still keep it challenging and fun. It felt like a day out riding with a mate. Would definitely recommend to anyone debating doing it.

Well planned and thought out program by the Salisbury Plain Stig. The weather did not affect the day. Would recommend to all

A great days riding. I did the novice group. Justin the instructor was very clear how we should tackle the obstacles. My confidence improved throughout the day. Will definitely be going again

No faffing, no schemes to charge for extras just a great day supported by two friendly and capable instructors who pitched the learning just right with the emphasis on doing stuff not talking about it.

Small group, excellent routes, enthusiastic and friendly instructors - a brilliant day of trail riding.

Had a fantastic day out with Phoenix Trails on the Easter weekend.
We were met by the Salisbury Plain Stig who was our guide for the day. All kit was supplied along with coffee.
Started off with some practice on the course which is right next to the lockup before heading up onto Salisbury Plain.
The instruction was excellent and his knowledge of the area was fantastic.
Definitely improved my skills and am now keen to learn more.
Would highly recommend.

Really well judged leadership from Justin. No nonsense, practical training. Pushed our comfort zones exactly to the right point to make the day challenging, memorable and fun. No time pressures on the day. Felt like a day out with your mates whilst learning a new set of skills. Well done Phoenix and Justin (the Salisbury Plain Stig)

Booked the Level 1 trail riding at Footscray and what a great day out with Adam the instructor.
Really friendly, new bikes and a great introduction to trail riding .
Had a a good time booked Level 2 straight away at Salisbury and another great day trail riding with Justin over Salisbury Plan .
He knowledge of all the trails is second to none .
All kit supplied , new bikes and even throw a bit of lunch in.
Great value for money ,considering bike rental, instruction and local knowledge of the trails .
If you have a off , there’s no pressure , just pick the bike and go again .
Would highly recommend.

Brilliant Level 2 training day this weekend with Adam and Justin on Salisbury Plain. Route and pace were perfect to develop lots of skills in the mud and wet. Guys were really friendly and helpful with lots of feedback. Can't recommend them and Phoenix highly enough. Already booked on the next one !
