Good structured coure and training environment

Unprofessional business ran by scammers.

A classic example of a business that is undergoing constant scrutiny due to lack of customer care and logistical organisation.

There seems to be a consistent issue regarding people using ELCAS to fund this course which I personally have also experienced, this company was suspended from using ELCAS to fund any courses (not the first time according to ELCAS) and I requested a refund of both ELCAS and personal contributions up to £750. After many attempts and very slow communication there was zero regard for me as a customer or my circumstances.

The T&Cs are also very much a grey area within the company and they don’t seem to understand statutory rights.

I would stay well away from this organisation and any associating members.

So, I came into this not really knowing what to expect or what expectations I actually had for the future. It was three weeks of my life that I will never forget. I came close to quitting at the start, as an older gentleman I just wasn’t feeling it; spoke with Jaye and he encouraged me to stick it out, and I am so so glad I did. I got to meet an incredible group of people during this course. People that I feel would have my back regardless. I have grown tremendously as a person, the guys at Phoenix - Tom, Jaye and Ethan - were and are amazing guys; not forgetting Guv who was also inspirational. The fellas on my course- and Christina 😉 - are an absolute credit to themselves and they supported me when times were tough for which I cannot thank each and every one of them enough. Love ❤️ I’m now a close protection officer so thank you all. Onwards and upwards. Cannot recommend this highly enough, whether you are wanting to get involved with close protection or whether you just want to find out a bit more about yourself. 💪

Phoenix provided me with a first class close protection learning package, from day one to day twenty one.

Great experience and learned lots of new skills. Live op is a great way to place everything into a real life scenario. Looking forward to see what lies ahead.

Good course. Worth doing

I came in to Phoenix to attain my training in the field of CPO level 3 qualification, this role is completely different from what i have done all my life. I can honestly say it definitely opened my eye, The team welcomed us as a group on the opening day, that said the trainers were clearly passionate about making us the best we can be...As a team they were Supportive, informative, positively challenging, knowledgeable to say a few.
I met 16 other colleagues from different backgrounds all driven and excited, hopefully leaving the training with some very good friends.
To enhance the experience of classroom training there were challenges made to be done true to life, covering surveillance, tactical..... Rifle range shooting experience, evasive driving and hand to hand combat... it was intense, hard work, and power packed... if your looking to become a CPO and willing to put the hard work in look no further. Thanks Phoenix the 21 days were well worth it.

They told me that they was Elcas approved and 2 weeks later, Elcas declined I asked for a refund and have been ignored, I was told I would get call back and they would handle this issue seriously, but they have been everything but serious. I’m not even sure if they have an accounts department because every email I have sent was replied back with we will get back to you in 5 working days well it’s been 6 weeks and still no response, I know you wouldn’t treat a Client like this so I don’t understand why you would treat someone trying to break into the profession, it is so unprofessional. It lacks morals and ethics. I can see that the core values of Phoenix group reflect poorly on security industry.

Entire course it was very well explained, and all members of the staff friendly and very good communication.
Definitely I will recommend Phoenix .

As a female getting into the industry, only other women can understand how deeply daunting this could be. But the phoenix team (Jaye, Tom, and Lance specifically) all respected that and helped me learn what I need to learn, female-specific skill sets too. And on top of that, they treated me like the other men in the class, which in this industry is a valid approach - we’re all operatives first and foremost.
I knew what to expect from Phoenix before starting based on friend recommendations, but only when joining the class was I truly blown away by how amazing it all is.
I’ll forever be grateful to the Phoenix team for getting my foundation built for what I hope to be a strong and successful career.

I had a fantastic time on my recent FREC 3 course, great facilities in a decent location.
Leon and Craig were excellent instructors and really know there stuff.
Leon is a credit to the company and a real asset and manages to teach in a style that I was able to relate to.
I am now looking forward to returning to Phoenix in the near future for my close protection needs

Good course. On a higher level with the standard of instruction and real world experience.

I came with the intention to develop myself in a particular area. When I got to Phoenix, I realized that there were more than just CP training the tutors were into.

They were guidance counsellors, confidantes, psychologist and every bit of every character and personality you needed to support you along the journey.

Your strengths and weaknesses were highlighted and tested. I am grateful for the experience... Training were real life scenarios that positioned you where you would be and how you are expected to respond.

I would totally recommend this course to to be done at Phoenix. Tutors are well experienced and grounded in everyday needed.. from Surveillance - Hostile Ops. To be honest, it's gonna be a challenge but the ride is worth every minute of it.

Special thanks to Gov for the inspirational speech. Lance + Jermaine for "the hurry-ups"... and the ride we all experienced. Tom for guidance and behind the scenes task being completed.

Absolutely amazing course! Very demanding throughout but that is the standards within the CP world, high expectations. I found the course to be very professional, the instructors Lance & Jay are two extremely passionate individuals and want to help guide you to the best of your ability. Not only the instructors but Tom from the team is extremely helpful and there to assist where needed. 100% would recommend anyone thinking of beginning there journey, to do it with Phoenix!

Standards are very high and content delivery was spot on.Thank you to the team for their time and patience in training us to be qualified Phoenix CPO's.Wouldn't have gone anywhere else👏

The course was well delivered by very knowledgeable instructors. My only real issue was not having time to eat but the benefits far outweigh the discomfort so can’t bring myself to knock a star off. All round great experience and I’ve definitely added to my skill set. I was more than happy and honoured to shake my instructors hands at the end of a successful course.

I paid for a CP top up course back in December, of which the company cancelled the course and promised a refund. After numerous phone calls with their head of strategy and development, along with numerous emails to their accounts dept I was then left with no choice but to escalate the matter as I was nearly £500 out of pocket. I’m a veteran and have been on the circuit for about 15 years The Company is registered as Zenith operators limited yet trading under Phoenix. This zenith however is being compulsory struck off but they are actively adverting courses on Facebook. Stay clear of this company. The photos to prove this are on a google review also about them. I’d also suggest using a company ran by ex military as these dominate the CP market.

9-6-26 reply to Phoenix’s reply.….I’ve already sent you emails from yourselves confirming your offer of a refund as you cancelled the course. I’ve sent you the hard proof that you offered the refund and I gave you months of patience waiting. It’s left to the legal system now as ironically now you’ve been served notice legally, you are trying to rectify it. Also you tried to get this post removed via trustpilot, they reviewed it and decided it was legitimate. The simple point is, don’t cancel courses on customers without giving them their money back if you offer it. It’s not very honest or morale.

Update September 26, a legal judgement has now been awarded in my favour against this company as they have chosen to ignore this matter. Stay very very clear of this company is my advice having been a body guard and former parachute regiment soldier with over 15 years experience working with UHNW clients.

I enjoyed my time with pheonix, from the start I didn't know what to expect but the degree and level of which lance and jaye took to make sure we got all information we needed and the patiences they had to for each person showed there commitment to teaching us and trying to produce competent CPO's. I learned a lot from this course thank you again

The instructors are really experienced and are able to pick up the skill set of the students and refine/develop it further.
Also they are able to give you insights and prepare for that you have not encountered yet.
This is the most academicly challenging course I ve been on

The course was ran well as both instructors share a variety of knowledge in the field of work, it’s an intense course but is as real as it gets as you do your operations real time in public.
