Hi Kim,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

On PhDportal.com, we present programme information provided directly by universities. Because each institution structures and updates its information differently, our goal is to make it as consistent and clear as possible across the platform. To keep improving the experience, we also regularly run student focus groups to understand which information students find most useful when comparing programmes.

Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of 40+ colleagues works continuously on maintaining the content, updating programme information, and ensuring overall quality.

Regarding registration, we sometimes ask users to create an account so we can tailor the experience more specifically to them. For example, this can help us show relevant visa information based on nationality, estimate tuition fees more accurately, and provide more personalised study recommendations.

If you are open to sharing a bit more about what felt inconsistent, we would really appreciate it. We will make sure your feedback is passed directly to our product team so they can review it.

Thank you again for sharing your perspective. We appreciate the feedback and wish you the best in finding the right programme for your plans 💙

Hi Vera,

Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the interface did not feel user friendly for you.

If you are searching for PhD opportunities on PhDportal.com, you can use the degree filter to select PhD specifically, which should prevent Master’s programmes from appearing in your suggestions. The same applies across our ecosystem, whether on Bachelorsportal.com for Bachelor’s degrees, Mastersportal.com for Master’s degrees, or PhDportal.com for PhD programmes.

Your comment about mixed suggestions is very valuable, and we will share it with our product team to further improve the experience.

We truly appreciate you taking the time to share this with us 💙
