PharmAppy is an NHS-approved digital health platform designed to transform how patients manage their prescription and access pharmacy services, all whilst reducing workload and driving value for pharmacy teams. For patients, PharmAppy makes it easy to request NHS prescriptions directly into the GP and pharmacy system, track orders in real time, and receive regular updates. Smart reminders help ensure medicines are reordered on time, and carers can conveniently manage medication for dependants all from one place. For pharmacies, PharmAppy is fully integrated with both GP and pharmacy systems across the UK. Prescription requests flow seamlessly through existing workflows, requiring no extra input from pharmacy teams. At the same time, orders are automatically reconciled and patients auto-receive clear updates, cutting down on phone calls and routine queries. PharmAppy will soon support pharmacies in growing their private services. By putting services such as health checks, vaccinations, and travel clinics directly in front of patients, the platform will makes it simple for patients to discover, book, and manage appointments - helping pharmacies increase visibility and uptake. Unlike my local pharmacy, I get all my medication that I order and it is always delivered within 7 days.
I have recommended family to sign up for this service.
The staff are aiways available on the phone if you have a problem and it is resolved straight away.

Easy to use and fast
Much quicker than placing a repeat prescription request with the doctors. Updated on every step so I knew my prescription was being prepared.
I think it is a great app, very easy to use.

PharmAppy is a user friendly app
PharmAppy is very easy to use, it is user friendly. However, I would like if there was a box somewhere where you could write comments especially if you need to order medication earlier then you should need to. This would be helpful if you need earlier medication if you’re going on a holiday, et cetera.

PharmAppy is simple and intuitive to use. It’s made ordering my prescriptions much easier, and I can clearly track the progress from my local pharmacy. I also receive helpful notifications directly through the app, which keeps me up to date. A big improvement compared to the old paper system!

App deleted my order request with no trace
I would never recommend this app.
Both times when I requested medications through PharmAppy, the app took more than 10 days for the prescription to reach the pharmacy system, so pharmacy can view and dispense my medications. Now, I have yet to collect my medicines but the app has deleted my order request and has no history of my order request as well, as if I have never used the app. I was better off with my GP app for ordering my prescriptions.

Apologies, we've only just created a Trustpilot account and have seen your review.
As mentioned in our email to you at the time of your feedback email, we looked into your account right away and could see that your prescription requests were processed correctly by the app without any issues. Once a request is confirmed in the app, it’s the responsibility of your GP surgery to issue your prescription — the timing of that is completely out of our hands.
In this case, your pharmacy received the prescription from your GP surgery within 2 days and marked it as ‘Handed Out’ in their system. This action automatically moved your order to ‘Previous Orders’ (Archived) in the app. Nothing was deleted — the app simply mirrors the status updates made by your GP and pharmacy.
