Lakshini and her team at Pet Travels Lanka are the best for pet relocation. I fell in love with a street puppy whilst working in Sri Lanka and had to return to the UK before I could arrange travel.
Lakshini and her team drove for 4 hours to the location of the puppy, collected the puppy, took the puppy to the vets and treated him for the mange and worms he was suffering with and then looked after him in their home for 8 months whilst we waited for him to heal and pass his rabies titre test.
They went above and beyond in making sure my puppy, Bodhi, was loved and healthy, nursing him into the gorgeous young dog he is today.
It was no small feat to take a small street puppy into their home and raise it through the tricky puppy stages and make sure he had all the medication and food he needed to be strong enough to travel.
Throughout the process I got regular updates and pictures and Lakshini informed me of how he was and consulted with me for any veterinary or care decisions along the process.
Bodhi is now home in the UK with me, I didn’t have to worry about any paperwork as Lakshini organised it all. Bodhi flew from Sri Lanka to Paris and then drove across to the UK with no problems at all. Lakshini explained all the paperwork so I knew which would be needed at each border crossing.
I cannot begin to thank Pet Travels Lanka enough for their incredible service throughout the relocation process.
