I purchased a sweater for my wife before Christmas and it was a nightmare trying to return it. We finally gave up and accepted a $7.50 credit back rather than paying $47.00 in return shipping. Do not order from this company, its a scam.

Ordered 10 days before Christmas with indication it would arrive by Christmas, it arrived January 8th but wait it gets worse. I ordered an XS they shipped a Large. Then they tell me I can get a 15% credit and keep the sweater or ship back to China for $40. Would not buy anything from this outfit.

I just checked your reviews on trustpilot which I usually do before I order something on the Internet. Shame on you for stealing my $50. I will leave you another negative review, but I see that it doesn’t do any help. Companies like you hurt the entire Internet system. You should be ashamed of yourselves. The sweater I ordered does not fit and there’s no resemblance to the picture. I see you have no intention of doing anything about this as I have sent you 4 inquiries at the moment. The reply is bogus as well. Don’t order from this company

I want a refund - no products l, finally get email it's from China! What does hand checked mean anyway? I usually don't fall for scam sites- phone disconnected .
I don't want China junk with no tags even of content . Do not buy !

COMPLETE SCAM! They ship from CHINA, takes over a month to receive a VERY POOR QUALITY sweater, no tags inside at all, maker, size, material, washing instructions, NOTHING. They don’t offer anything close to a satisfactory refund

EVERYTHING!! Stay away from this company. I bought a sweater on line ( December 11) as a Christmas gift which finally arrived from China on January 8th. After my initial inspection of the sweater, I realized the sweater was not made well, poor quality like on it appeared on its website. I then noticed all of the tags with the size, the material it is made of and care instructions were removed. They were cut out! When I contacted the customer service person Anna, she assured me that this is standard practice and done at the distribution center. I asked her WHY??? was this a return or reject and she said "No" it was standard practice. Again unacceptable! When I asked for a full refund, my options were 1. I could keep the item and get a 15% discount off the purchase price of $59.99 OR 2. return the item, incur a shipping costs of $40-$50 (at my expense) to Zhejiang China.

Do not buy from this company. I ordered around December 6th thinking it might make it by Christmas for a gift since there website says 1-2 days for processing, and 3-7 for shipment. However, what the website neglects to tell you is it ships from China and the odds of that ever being fulfilled is likely 0%. My order was “delivered” on January 7th a month after purchase. I did not receive this item and the company won’t take any accountability because “it’s out of their hands now” even though they withhold all information to where and how your package will get to you. Ultimately this website may send you something, but based on other reviews you will either not get it or get something you didn’t even order. Oh yeah and all of the images they use for clothing are stock garbage from somewhere else. Customer service will pretend like they care, but if they did they wouldn’t blatantly withhold all that information

This is a scam business. The products that are advertised on their website do not correspond to the items that you receive. When you contact them about returning the item, they instruct you that you need to return the item to a Chinese address and pay at least $50 for shipping or receive a 15% refund of the original price. They ask you to send them photos of the items that were received. This business should be closed.

Terrible 😢 a scam all the way shipping took almost 4 weeks and the product is not like the model at all the quality is terrible and it is actually pricey …customer service were good at communicating and tagging me along! So disappointed- just cancel! Then the response suggesting I contact customer services about sorting the problem - I did email them and no one has got back to me. The product is such a scam.

My wife placed an order with Peter Olivira for a casual means dress shirt size L as a Christmas present for me 12/6/25.
The site was very difficult to work with and kept asking her to repeat many items, which resulted in a duplicate order which was not the plan nor expected.
We received tracking information on what we thought was one item on 12/9/25, indicating it had shipped but no way to trace it. After many, many inquiries when it didn’t arrive by Christmas we discovered that it came from China – still no easy way to track it. A week after Christmas, almost 30 days since the order had been placed, two packages arrived from a location in PA. When opened there were two identical shirts with no size markings, no manufacturing’s nor care instructions. When I tried one on, it was obvious it was an XXL not an L.
Upon contacting customer service, not easy to do, I was told we needed to send photos of the shirts that were not attachments to our response – after that,
We were told they would not refund the cost of the 2nd shirt that was ordered because of their ordering system and that we could return the other one but at our expense back to China at a cost of approximately $45-$50.00, when the original cost was $59.00 and we were sure there would be no way to track the shipment back in China to prove receipt and our refund. The other option was to settle for a 15% refund, less shipping cost back to our original form of payment. We ended up doing and donating the shirts to Goodwill.
Overall, a very terrible sales experience and had the feeling it was close to their norm – No Stars and highly suggest you don’t do business with this Company!

No tracking number was provided, everything went through 17 Track which said USPS had possession but gave no tracking number. Shows package delivered by USPS on December 27 but post office says they didn't deliver it because they didn't have it and with no tracking number there's no way to check anything. I live in a small rural area and know my mail carriers so when they say they didn't have it I believe them. The company has not responded except to suggest I purchase a subscription for an AI tracking site. Don't waste your money with this company.

This is a scam - if it sounds too good to be true, it is. I ordered a size small “cashmere” sweater for my wife and received an XL 100% polyester sack. “Resolution” options:
1. Get a 15 % discount on an item that was already overpaid for, given its quality and the wrong size, and keep the item.
2. Get a full refund after paying $40-$50 for shipping and handling, which means pay $50 for nothing.
Again, believe the bad reviews and don’t fall for this typical China website scam.

Even when PO sends the wrong item, customer is forced to pay the return shipping which costs more than the product. Sleazy business …..PO knows this results is basically all sales are final… deceptive. Never again!!!

I waited approx 3 weeks for an approx $65 or $70 robe with a hood that looked amazing on the website. When it finally arrived it looked like a $5 piece of garbage. I see that all the reviews are bad everywhere. I should have read them before I purchased. Live and learn!!

I ordered 4 cardigans on December 14th and was promised to be shipped in 2-3 business days and to be delivered on the destination by Christmas Eve . Actually the shipping company was notified on December 22, picked up the order for delivery on December 24. A was notified by email that the order has been shipped next day( December 15th) and that was not true. After I sent the them a email explaining that the orders is not any more of use and they can just not let it go for delivery because it was a Christmas gift ( on December 21) I got back an email saying that the order is shipped out and they can’t do anything about it. And that’s was not true! Asked for a refund and they said that I have to return it in order to get a refund. Finally today January 9 I received the order which was a package ripped off opened and I have pictures of the what is inside the package . Complete different things from what I have ordered, unbelievable!
I am not paying for their return . If you want send someone to pick them up!
And I am still waiting for the refund? If not I will dispute the charge, I have all emails exchanged , the time frame from the time of the order was made, shipping company notified and when they actually received it. I have the publication on your website that says that you deliver from the united state, I have the picture of the package and what is inside it!

The PeterOliveira.com website says "Orders are processed within 1 - 2 business days (Mon – Fri). Shipping takes 3 – 7 business days". That is not possible because the product is coming directly from China, and it took a month. The sweater I ordered says it is a Cashmere sweater, when its actually a cheaply-made polyester sweater. The website says customer is responsible for shipping costs on returns and that should always be a red flag that you are going to have to pay $100+ to ship it back to China. All around a terrible experience

I am not paying to return an item that is materially different from what I purchased.

The coat advertised in your photos is a thick, tailored wool coat with structured edges, visible seam detailing behind the angled pocket, a distinct collar shape, and clear waist suppression creating a fitted silhouette. The item I received has none of these features. It is poorly constructed, unstructured, lacks tailoring, and arrived without any label. The collar shape is entirely different, the edges are thin, and the fit does not resemble the advertised product in any way.

The differences are not minor variations. This is a completely different garment than what is shown. Based on these discrepancies, the listing images appear to be AI-generated or otherwise not representative of the actual product being shipped. I would not be requesting a return or refund if I had received the coat that was advertised.

Additionally, your website states that you ship only within the United States. Despite this, my order shipped from China. This is a direct contradiction of your stated policies and materially affected my purchasing decision.
This is my last attempt for a refund, as this item is not as described. I will not pay return shipping for an item misrepresented in both quality and origin.
If a refund is not issued promptly, I will proceed with disputing the charge with my payment provider and reporting your website for deceptive business practices. This dispute will include documentation of the listing images, the item received, and your shipping origin, and will result in additional investigation fees charged back to you. Representing a product inaccurately and shipping a different item is a recognized form of fraud under consumer protection standards.

This is my final attempt to resolve this matter directly.

Can I give 0 stars? Do not order from this company! Ships from China. Took 40 days to get my order to have it be wrong. Wrong size and not the fabric I selected from the description. Contacted the company to have no response. Do not give them your money!!!

I finally got the two sweaters I ordered. This company is a joke. It is complete fraud. There are no brand labels and the materials labels are cut out leaving only a small remnant that reads “made in China” the sweaters feel plastic. Dont make the same mistake I did and believe their story, it’s a lie.

Took 20 days to arrive, finally when arrived it was a wrong size from the one ordered. Poor quality, the item had threads sticking out and missing the size tag.

Connected with support and was offered a discount in the amount of 15% or a return, where I would be financially responsible for shipping the item back to China, which is about the same amount of the items cost.

Wouldn't reccomend buying from this company.
