The customer service is really good and reliable. There were times were because of inevitable reasons my bookings were cancelled but they help me throughout.

I have been a pet sitter and booked cares from Petbacker up todate, they have never comprised their quality of services, always 100% top. I highly recommend any pet parents to use Petbacker for a trustable service for their loved furbabies.

We'd never used PetBacker before and found someone who had a lot of positive reviews. We received photos every day of our trip, up until the last day, when the Petbacker called us to tell us that our beautiful boy had died.
On the platform, our Petbacker stated that pets are never left unattended, but this happened when they had left the house. Furthermore, she lied about what had happened: that he broke his neck jumping out the window. The vet told us that he'd been mauled by her dog.

The despicable part is that Petbacker told us they'd permanently blacklist her from the platform.
Lo and behold, I checked to make sure - it's been 2 months since it happened, and she's taken on more bookings - as short as 2 weeks after our dog died in her care.

I guess the reviews and trust just absolutely cannot be trusted - apparently PetBacker sweeps gross negligence under the rug and lets people continue booking with PetBackers without giving them the full picture.

Helpdesk was fast to respond to my appeal for help and queries. Top-notched service! Fast payout too! Reviewing as a pet boarder.

PetBacker app is amazing! I just started using it in Austria. There seems to be a big enough community and I've gotten a lot of responses to my requests for dog walking and sitting.

The app has built-in features that work like a charm. From the chat, the request and booking service, the safe payment system, and even the cancellation. All work very good and make total sense!

La atención al cliente es inmediata y de gran ayuda. Sin embargo, a la hora de interaccionar con la app y editar servicios, etc, me resulta difícil ya que la traducción al español de las funciones de cada cosa no sé entiende muchas veces.

Excellent support team. Problems may occur by human errors but the staff is always there to assist. As a user who has stayed on the app for a year, I’m never disappointed.

He utilizado la aplicación PetBacker y quiero compartir una experiencia muy negativa que he vivido de primera mano con una amiga que contrató a un cuidador a través de esta plataforma.

El cuidador incurrió en un comportamiento gravísimo: se negaba a devolverle a sus perras si no le pagaba dinero fuera de la aplicación y, además, existen pruebas de un supuesto maltrato animal. Todo esto fue denunciado y se aportaron evidencias a PetBacker.

Sin embargo, la respuesta de la empresa fue totalmente insuficiente:
   •   No existe ningún canal de ayuda inmediata (ni teléfono ni chat en directo).
   •   Aunque se indicó explícitamente que se trataba de un supuesto maltrato animal, la aplicación solo contestó al día siguiente por correo electrónico.
   •   No contactaron por teléfono directamente con la persona afectada en un caso tan grave.

Como usuaria de la app también intenté buscar ayuda y pude comprobar cómo no hay apenas ayuda! No se puede confiar en un servicio que no ofrece garantías.

Mi recomendación es clara: no confiar en PetBacker. La falta de seguridad, verificación real y canales de ayuda inmediata puede derivar en situaciones de riesgo muy serio.

Some problem with didn’t get the notification from the chat.
And quite high percentage was taken off from the payment.

Muy atentos y profesionales

Horrible people it’s been 2 weeks no money yet for providing my services of pet sitting and I keep hearing oh we have to wait to hear back from finance regarding sending my money to my PayPal account and that they have to wait to hear from management and don’t say anything for days and won’t send my money and I haven’t been able to get my cats more litter or pay my other bills and it’ll almost be 3 weeks of still no money. Very evil people and don’t care to give people their money and I even explained multiple times that the owner hasn’t responded since Two months ago and that they won’t respond and they insist on waiting to hear from the owner when they know the owner hasn’t said anything since June 10 2025,its now August 14th. They still don’t respond and won’t give me my money I earned which is 809.01 and then they’ll probably delay my last payment as well which is wrong. I definitely won’t use it again after this and I’ll pay to sign up on rover instead

Vert fast service! Work great!

I have no issues with the app, works great… there are many pet sitters in my region, which is crucial for a reliable XP with the service. Much better than leaving your pet at a pet hotel

The app is user friendly. Customer service also respond very fast.
