Well is it any wonder this company hasn’t claimed their review. What an absolute rip off.. Ordered a same day delivery on a Monday, but cancelled (within an hour or two) as the recipient was away, Asked to send them to me at an alternative Auckland address (mine). Three days later, Petals claimed numerous attempted deliveries with people refusing to receive the flowers??? Why would my staff refuse to accept a bunch of flowers addressed to the owner of the business?. I call absolute BULLDUST. Poor service, poor effort, dishonesty and then refund 30% less than what I paid for.

Well is it any wonder this company hasn’t claimed their review. What an absolute rip off. The only thing good about this company was their customer service people on the phone were polite and friendly. After ordering from, what I thought was a local company, it turned out to be this sham of a company selling so called quality gift baskets with same day delivery. 1. The delivery was not the same day. I was called to say the basket wouldn’t be delivered the same day even though I’d ordered well before the time specified. I did decide to continue with the order. The lady on the phone was lovely to deal with. 2. I paid $116 plus delivery for a small cardboard box with the value of product worth approximately $40 if that in. I put in a complaint and got offered a 25% refund which I felt was an absolute insult. DO NOT DEAL with this company. Their products are absolutely rubbish and not like they advertise in the pictures. What an embarrassment for my elderly mums birthday.

Absolutely horrible flowers which started wilting a day after received. Bought a bright bunch (designer choice) with a nice vase and they sent two horrible bunches of flowers with hardly any nice flowers and mainly greenery. I wrote and asked them about it and all they can say is I got the $145 worth of flowers.

Update: I recently posted a negative review regarding my experience with my order of flowers not being up to an acceptable standard from Petals. Following a complaint with evidential photos, they agreed that the order made up by Albany Flowers was not up to standard and offered a full immediate refund, which I accepted. Well done Petals Network!

Ordered flowers for same day delivery. Order placed first things in the morning. Waited until nearly 3pm before telling me they couldn't deliver today so it would be tomorrow. I asked for them to make sure it was morning the next day and was told and no guarantee it would be morning. Very poor. I didn't realise this was a website only and not the company that would be delivering. Use someone else if you don't want to be let down. Try and find the local florist and go direct. Avoid this outfit.

Order Number 5296.413380. I spent over $200 with Petals Network for flowers and chocolates to be delivered to a friend that needed cheering up. Later, I discovered, that the PREMIUM chocolates I had paid $35 for were, in fact, just hollow thin chocolate shells. I wrote to Petals Network to see if this was an error but I did not get a reply. Apparently, the chocolate fillings are none existent along with Petals Network's customer service department. I had planned to make Petals Network a regular supplier but, after learning of the their "empty gifts" and none existent customer service I will not be buying from them again. Regards Frances

Just an embarrassment.
I was so embarrassed at the flowers that were delivered to a family member. They were nothing like the photo that is supplied on the website. The cost horrendously expensive for what was recieved.
Would never recommend.

Best service ever. It was there on time as I requested... Flowers were fresh and had a really good scent... Thank you for making my friends day extra special....
Hightly recommend Petals

I strongly do not recommend purchasing flowers from this company it was a total waste of money and what you receive is not what you ordered online. I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday and it didn't look anything like what I ordered so misleading with their pictures online and will never order from them again. Customer service is useless as well as I sent a picture of what I ordered and a picture of what was received and they don't see anything wrong with it.

Clearly there's no point in saying how they could improve as they honestly just don't care, I wish I had of seen this site before I ordered through them. I will never order flowers through any florist who is associated with this company

No delivery confirmation!
Can you believe that in 2023 they can't provide a delivery confirmation? That is just the basic expectation when you order flowers online.

Chose this provider based on their delivery promise & nice photos. Payment was taken & then got an email a while later to say the delivery wouldn't be on friday as required but the next Tuesday. I replied explaining the difficult circumstances-why I was sending flowers & didn't even get a reply. In the end the flowers didn't even arrive until Wednesday...5 days late. Flowers look OK but not much of them. I would never use this provider again

Went out of their way to help us put together a fabulous gift, for my daughter's birthday .

My friend sent flowers that arrived 4 days after her order. The day after I received the flowers I noticed 1 lily flower browning. 2 days later all but 1 of the lilies flowers were browning and I had to throw them out only 4 days after I received them. Very poor service and quality. When I complained they response was 25 % refund . Not nearly good enough.
I would not even rate this company a 1 star.

They only have one person to service in the entire Tararua district?! Crazy. And if she gets sick no one can have flowers arranged and delivered. The area DESPERATELY needs another florist or two.

I ordered and paid for next day delivery flowers. Petals got in touch to say they only did overnight deliveries for the address and due to public holidays they wouldn’t be able to deliver them for another 6 days. I asked for a delivery fee discount and they said no. The flowers then arrived a day late from their own nominated date, so a whole week out. The flowers arrived bruised and were old. I’ve emailed and posted a query on their site and have had no response. Wouldn’t use them again.

Ordered flowers a week out for delivery to my aunt on her 90th birthday.
They didn’t arrive until the following day. extremely disappointed.
I won’t be using them again.

Be warned...Do Not Deal With This Unscrupulous Company .I wish I had seen all the negative feed back prior to me ordering flowers from Petals network .My brother passed away prior to Christmas and I live to far away to be able to fly down for his funeral.
I ordered the big Protea/ Leucadendron Eleebana Delux at a cost of $120 plus $13.95 delivery = a total of $133.95 to be delivered to my niece, his daughter.
However I received this message from Jacky at Petals.
"Hello, unfortunately there are no florists in this area that have the required flowers for your order. So as not to miss the delivery date we have requested the florist to go ahead and create a florist choice design using the fresh flowers they have in store using blooms of equal value etc "
I was not given the option to choose an alternative and the subsequent colour palette and arrangement could not have been further away from the strong Eleebana Delux if you tried .
Not only that , the resulting "substitute" bouquet was not unsimilar to bouquets available for purchase from petrol stations and supermarkets at a cost of $60.
Petals offered me a 30% discount on my next purchase from them , as if I would be mug enough to go back for another go
