He calmly answered all my questions during the visit and was extremely professional

We got in touch with Malcolm after finding a rodent problem in a house we recently moved into.
Malcolm arranged to come round promptly, was very knowledgable and carried out the work quickly while keeping us informed of what was needed and the likely costs throughout. Would definitely recommend.

I contacted Pestforce because I had a problem with pigeons nesting under the solar panels on my roof. The man I spoke to said he would come out the next day to have a look. Nobody came the next day so I texted him and a young lady came and took photos of the panels and said they would send me a quote either by text or email. 10 days later I still hadn’t heard from them so messaged them again and then a couple of days later I left a voicemail saying if there was a problem and they couldn’t do the job just to let me know. Nothing. I know unexpected things can happen and I really don’t like leaving an unfavourable review but I think this is really bad business practice. All they had to do was drop me a text or email saying they couldn’t do the job for whatever reason instead of leaving me hanging like this. I Chose them because it said it was a local company and didn’t expect to be treated like this.

Pestforce Bourne

I called Pestforce, Bourne/Stamford for some advice as I had a starling in my loft space. I spoke with George who was very knowledgeable and helpful and explained the options available to me. On my appointment day, George arrived at the pre-set time as agreed. He found the hole where the starlings had entered and sealed the hole ensuring the bird was not trapped in the loft. I would have no hesitation in recommending Pestforce. The correspondence throughout the process was excellent via text and email, with a fully invoiced receipt and photos post the work being completed.

Unfortunately I cannot wholeheartedly recommend Pestforce that deals with South East London region. I dealt with a person called Bob. I initially thought he was good on day 1 apart from appearing a day late but then quickly realised he wasn’t very thorough. I had previously seen mice in the kitchen; one had ran behind the washing machine and the other appeared on the kitchen surface which leaped down at the back of the cooker. I felt I was guiding him through basic things like glueing down the obviously loose skirting boards that mice had been travelling through. I was told initially that it might take 3 appointments but he said it would be rare as he was confident that he’d filled in the holes… I made it clear this needed to be handled in two appointments. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case as I then saw a mouse in the living room later on that day which was the day he picked up the bait on day 2. When he came back the next day he’d realised he had missed a hole in the cabinet under the sink which is something he should’ve checked first on day 1. He called this third visit a freebie but said the next one he would charge which I thought was quite disgraceful, as if he had done a thorough job in the first place. I.e look for and secure all possible exit points, there wouldn’t be a next one. Not very long after I saw another mouse going down the same original exit that he supposedly secured. I found him very inconsistent. He doesn’t do what he says he’s going to do. I was constantly chasing for updated reports. Admin was terrible. Communication wise, I found exhausting as he wouldn’t take responsibility.

I have given 2 stars instead of 1 as he did offer a refund which I received, even though he was given an option to keep the money and fix his mistake or return the money if he can’t fix the hole that he’d missed. He chose the latter. On communication it was agreed that he would arrive today to pick his bait etc but found out he had no intention of turning up even though he insisted on picking his stuff today.

All in all, he’s living on a different planet. Use somebody else. The refund doesn’t account for the stress I was put through on a shoddy job.

The person who came to deal with our problem was patient with the cycle of the offending beast. He understood its movements and preferences and could see subtle signs of a recent visit.
He dealt with the problem immediately returning three times to check that all was well and then he came for another unscheduled visit just to make sure.

We had a really bad squirrel problem in our loft. Chuck & Jack were prompt & extremely thorough, calling back each week, removing 4 squirrels in total! The assessment of the roof was also included within the cost, so we could sort proofing going forward.

I can’t recommend Malcolm enough to help with any pest problems you may have. He answered all my questions and solved my rat problem so effectively. He got my home pest-free in just a week!

Feeling of trust engendering as John listened carefully and systematically went through the house with confident knowledge of the likely places the mouse/ mice were likely to be. He explained exactly what he was doing and ensured the complete safety of my dog. He returned exactly when he had arranged and checked for results. I would wholeheartedly recommend contacting John should you have a problem.

Mole Invasion.
I have had to call upon the services of Jack Ellis/Pestforce on several occasions to deal with moles in my garden and he has always turned up at the appointed time and dealt with this problem efficiently and in a pleasant manner. I have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone with a pest control problem.
