Absolutely terrible service
Absolutely terrible service. This company seems to take advantage of customers who may not know much about pest control. We had an ant infestation coming from a single area in the property, yet the pest controller decided to treat not only the affected spot but also every window in the house, significantly increasing the cost.
What should have been a straightforward treatment ended up costing us £285, despite the visit lasting only around 20 minutes. We were told that treating one area would cost £140, but somehow the final bill was more than double that. The charges felt excessive and completely disproportionate to the amount of work carried out.
To make matters worse, the company advertises "No call-out charge" and "No hidden fees," which, based on our experience, feels completely misleading. While there may not have been a separate call-out fee, the final bill was far higher than expected for such a small amount of work. The pricing structure lacked transparency, and we were left feeling blindsided by the cost.
Overall, I left feeling misled, overcharged, and disappointed. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to get a detailed written breakdown of all charges before agreeing to any treatment.

poor service and misleading information online
when you contact it goes to a company called Able group. info on the xpress website suggests they offer certain services and there is clear web pages about that specific service, but then Able say they don’t offer it, it’s misleading. when i contacted them it was very poor customer service

Vermin Control
Birmingham is in a very difficult health situation. An elongated withdrawal of labour by refuse collectors has created an untenable situation. Rats are now spreading from the inner suburbs to the outer suburbs. The Pest Controller is reasonably confident rats are not breeding on our property but may be transiting. We child mind four young grandchildren and cannot risk the health issues that uncontrolled vermin bring.
