PUBLIC NOTICE: PEPPERFRY SERVICE FAILURE - FORMAL ESCALATION

After exhausting all standard resolution channels, I am compelled to make this public. This is a documented account of systematic service failures by Pepperfry despite years of customer loyalty and significant investment.

CUSTOMER BACKGROUND: Long-standing Pepperfry customer with multiple high-value purchases over the years: bed, sofa, dining table, mattress, pillows. Currently furnishing new home with 6 additional items in cart (purchase now cancelled).

UNRESOLVED ISSUES:

Years of loyalty and lakhs of investment should count for something. I was ready to make 6 additional purchases. Your systematic failures and refusal to honor basic consumer rights have destroyed that relationship entirely.

This is your final opportunity to resolve this professionally before formal legal and regulatory action begins.

Recently I received the parcel from pepperfry which was very quick. I ordered dining set for my new house and its exactly as shown in the pictures the design and size is perfect. The delivery was smooth and on time also the product arrived safely without any damage….

Pathetic products and service

I had a very bad experience with pepperfry. I bought a coffee table for 12K, and the quality of the product was so bad that the gold color of the metal base frame became black within few months. I have been engaging with their support team since last 5 months to fix the discoloration problem, as it was in warranty, but till date no resolution was provided by them. All along they were buying time by telling lame excuses. They insisted that I contact the dealer directly and ask them to send an email to pepperfry for the repair service to be done. It was ridiculous that I bought an item from pepperfry but I was asked to engage with the dealer directly for rectification service. I believe it is pepperfry's RESPONSIBILITY to deal with the dealer for warranty coverage and NOT the buyers. Therefore, I sincerely advice not to purchase any products from this platform, as their products and after sale service are pathetic. If you want to save your hard earned money, stay away from this unethical and unprofessional business platform.

I ordered a mattress from Pepperfry. The mattress was delivered quickly as it was delivered within 4 days. The mattress delivered is also comfortable and satisfying. It was a seem less experience

Ordered sofa and lounger

Ordered sofa and lounger. Delivery got delayed by a couple of days that too after constant follow up and email to CEO. Wrong product delivered for lounge as the legs are in different colour than what is shown in picture. Replacement legs are taking ages to be delivered. The carpenter assigned is playing hide and seek. The order was placed through Kharghar Navi Mumbai outlet but that salesman is unresponsive though he promised that if you order through outlets we are in better position to help customers. But they don't pick up calls.

Poor service

Difficult to get in touch with customer executive to schedule a delivery. Even if get in touch they are helpless. My expectation with the professional at the moment is not much given the service. Never buying again. Urban ladder is much better in terms of service.

Worst experience doing online purchase…

Worst experience doing online purchase with this scammer platform. Seems they tie-up with vendors of substandard products and lure by displaying discounts, a product when I purchased was already 70% discounted, but next day even discounted to 30% of that price. Product received was substandard, customer service person was claiming they have sent only what I purchased. Pathetic experience was they want me to become a photographer to take multiple photos as how stupid they expect to see the product delivered. Actually platform originally displayed only one photo that too photoshop image.
In another order they have sent only one quantity for three purchased, and marked it as delivered.
