A pleasant day. Both the Monet house and gardens were amazing.
Versailles was spectacular, we could have spent the whole day there exploring both the chateau and extensive gardens. I would have loved to see the stables as well.

Majella is a knowledgeable guide. The tour of Monet’s gardens and his house was very informative and pleasant experience. We travelled as a family and have young kids and Majela showed us the places and spoke about the history and facts to know very well. Highly recommend the tour.

A great tour through Versailles
Olivia gave us a great tour through Versailles! We met her at the Louis XIV statue as planned. We would go straight into the palace with her and got the option of visiting the toilet. She had chosen the most important rooms for us. It was easy to follow her. The level of details in what she presented was not low, not high. Afterwards she told us where to go and recommended the gardens. I personally (being a quizzer and quiz author) prefer more details; she e.g. did not mention the names of the architects Le Vau, Mansard and Cotte. But I read about them before I came, so no problem. A great experience. The only thing I think she might do better is knowing even more details; she was not certain about exactly which animals Louis XIV did hunt and about what artist that painted a portrait of Louis XVI that I recognized. I afterwards found that the artist was Antoine-François Callet. But that are details; she gave me great understandings, e.g. of Louis XIV's extreme need of absolute control. Therefore it is a pleasure to give her five out of five stars.
