I cannot say enough positive things about our Pack Up & Go experience. I'd been following them for years and our trip exceeded my expectations. Everything from booking to the travel to the vacation itself was so user-friendly, organized and well-thought out. It was clear our input was taken into consideration every step of the way. The support team was great as well, answering the few questions we had during our trip quickly and efficiently. We will absolutely be utilizing this service again.

We trusted Pack Up + Go with our 15th anniversary, and the planning completely missed the mark. I wanted to love this concept, and I get that the element of surprise means giving up some control. But that’s exactly why the planning and personalization matter so much.This was our 15-year wedding anniversary. Vacations are a luxury, especially right now. Childcare over a holiday weekend is a big lift. We trusted this company with about $3,500 and a milestone we only get once, but the planning never reflected that. I gave them a huge amount of information: where we’ve lived, what we enjoy, what we don’t, specific examples of memorable things we’ve done. And I specifically wrote, “We don’t need a bunch of activities, just one great unique one.” We were sent to Chicago, a city we have been to at least ten times. I didn’t explicitly say, don’t send us to Chicago, and I can own that. But I gave them the major cities we had lived in, surrounding that area, and tons of context. For a service built on personalization, there were obvious dots to connect here. After the trip went wrong, Pack Up + Go told me they thought we probably would have liked their outdoor adventure trip better than the one I purchased. If that was apparent from my questionnaire, why wasn’t I contacted before they spent our money? That could have been a simple call or email. The one great experience they chose was a helicopter ride over Navy Pier during fireworks. I had specifically told them, we had already done a Grand Canyon helicopter tour. I don’t understand how that became the centerpiece. And due to a credit card authorization problem on their end, we didn’t even get to take the flight. We arrived early, followed instructions, and the helicopter company was trying to help us work around it. I called Pack Up + Go, was told not to pay myself, and to wait for a call back that didn’t come. Because the flight was tied to the fireworks, we missed both. I wound up crying in the helipad parking lot, not because of a helicopter ride, but because it was our 15th anniversary and the whole trip felt unconsidered. The smaller details didn’t line up either. We were told to bring an outfit for an evening out. I purchased one and packed it. Pack Up + Go had already made our restaurant reservations. One was a casual farmhouse bar and one was a pizza place. It wasn’t bad food, just nothing like what their own packing instructions implied. Our hotel was a standard room with nothing marking the occasion. I was told they had informed the hotel, but nothing reflected it. Customer service was kind and quick to refund their fee and the helicopter we didn’t get. I appreciate their kindness but- Good customer service after a poorly planned trip doesn’t replace good planning before it. We still paid for the flights and hotel because yes, we technically used them. But here’s the problem. I never would have spent my money on that trip in the first place. That’s what makes this kind of service different. You’re surrendering approval power, trusting that the planning and judgment are worth it. I gave them everything they needed to ask a question or flag a mismatch before booking. vacations are too expensive and milestone moments too rare for that kind of miss. We don’t get another 15th anniversary. That’s why this is one star.

Our experience with Pack Up + Go was absolutely FLAWLESS. They planned everything for us down to the smallest detail and kept all of our requests and interests at heart. By far the best get away experience I have ever had and will definitely be booking again!

Our 5th Pack Up & Go Experience

Once again, Pack Up & Go knocked it out of the park! Our trip to San Diego, California, was our fifth experience with Pack Up & Go, and they continue to exceed our expectations every time.

What made this trip so great was the surprise destination of San Diego, the wonderful accommodations at the Pendry Hotel, and the thoughtfully scheduled activities. Everything was so well planned, yet we still had enough flexibility to explore and enjoy the city on our own. The additional information included in our trip packet was especially helpful, filling in any gaps and giving us plenty of ideas for things to see and do. Most importantly, this trip gave us memories that we will cherish for years to come.

What Pack Up & Go Does Well

Honestly, everything! After five trips, we
continue to be impressed with how organized and attentive the Pack Up & Go team is. The staff has been spot-on with every trip, communicates extremely well, and makes the entire process easy and stress-free. They even checked in with us during our trip to make sure everything was going well.

We absolutely recommend Pack Up & Go to anyone looking for a different kind of travel experience. If you're tired of planning every detail yourself, be adventurous, be different, and let Pack Up & Go pack you up for a surprise trip! You won't regret it.

I've done a few "Surprise Trips" in the past and can say the excitement is just the same for the "You Pick" trips! It was just as thrilling to open the envelope and see what they had picked out for us! We had already picked out a restaurant we wanted to try and had tickets to a show prior to booking, and Pack Up + Go honored that perfectly! We were excited to see a reservation at our requested restaurant early enough to make our show in plenty of time! We also requested a hotel location that would allow us to park our car for our entire trip, and we got just that! We were able to primarily walk or had enough information in our packet to feel comfortable to find ways to venture further. We were booked for two activities, one we had no idea about prior to the trip and one we talked about maybe doing, and we loved both! We really felt like our pre-trip survey was considered in every choice made by Pack Up + Go! This was a trip for two best friends, and we loved how neither of us had to take on the stress of planning but still got exactly what we wanted! Will definitely be doing this again!

When we arrived in Eureka Springs we were blown away by our room at Beaver Lake Cottages, we could not have asked for a better set up! During our stay we used our recommendation sheet to explore several great restaurants and our excursion off roading in a side by side was one we wouldn't have normally picked, but it was so much fun! Our dinner reservation the final night was perfect, we had the best table at the Grotto Wood-Fired Grill and Wone Cave right next to the indoor rock formation and we even got a signed anniversary card from the entire staff. We would definitely trust Pack Up & Go to plan a future adventure for us!

This was the most exciting, fun filled trip I’ve ever been on! Pack and go did a phenomenal job making sure all accommodations were met and recommending fantastic restaurants. So many sites to see and believe me, we tried to see them all! Made my 65th birthday so memorable. My daughter and I had a blast! We will definitely be planning another trip soon. We had such a wonderful time on our trip to Philadelphia! It was a great experience getting to explore the city, see the sights, and spend some quality time together. There were so many memorable parts of the trip, and the spa was definitely one of our favorite experiences.

The B&B was lovely, clean, comfortable, and had a lot of charm. We did quite a bit of walking, and gave us a chance to see more of the city along the way.

Overall, we really enjoyed Philadelphia and are so glad we took the trip. We appreciated how easy the planning process was and all of the help we received throughout the trip. It was a fun and memorable getaway to celebrate my mom for her Birthday, and we’re grateful for the experience!

I may have been hesitate at first, but this was a great experience. All of the pre-bookings and plans that were done were amazing, even their suggestions made everything so easy and made the experience worth while. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

What a wonderful vacation! Given how perfectly suited to our style all of our experiences ~ and our amazing hotel ~ were, it's hard to believe the team made it possible with responses to just a few simple questions. We were elated with everything and appreciated the thorough, easy-to-follow folder of materials as a guide. What a way to travel!

We used Pack Up & Go for our honeymoon and we are over the moon with the service we received! They booked us at the Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama and we were treated like royalty! The Pack Up & Go team checked in with us multiple times during our stay and made reservations for several things for us… we definitely recommend letting them handle your next trip!!!

We love using pack up and go to celebrate our anniversary. This year was a truly wonderful trip filled with fun activities, great food, and some much needed relaxation. We can’t wait for our next trip!

We had a great surprise trip and really enjoyed our stay in Seattle.

What a fun way to take a trip! The planners were very responsive and everything was very much to our tastes. They gave us lots of suggestions to fill our time in addition to the planned activities. (We didn't have time to do much more than what they planned. But now we have suggestions for a return to the city we visited!) My only suggestion to the planners is asking if guests have travel accounts with any airlines for preferred boarding in addition to TSA precheck. Being able to board earlier has its perks, too.

Our trip was perfectly catered to our interests! It was by far better than any trip my husband and I would have would have put together ourselves. The fact that the scheduled events were included in the price made it really nice, too! We'll definitely be taking another trip with them.

This is my second trip with Pack Up + Go, and my experience the second time was VASTLY different than the first. There were three issues I had with this trip:

First: We signed up for an Outdoors Road Trip, and that is decidedly NOT the trip that was booked. The website states that for Outdoor trips, cabins, BnBs, or boutique hotels are booked. They had us in a chain hotel in the middle of a large city downtown. We had exactly ONE activity booked for the entire trip. The suggested packing list included swimsuits, beach towels, and activewear. Our first night they had a dinner reservation for an upscale restaurant, which we had to change because none of us had packed appropriate attire. Our itinerary had a day trip to a "nearby" (45 minute drive) town -- a town that had accommodations that much more closely matched what we thought we'd be getting based on the trip description. Why they didn't just have us stay in that town, I will never understand.

Second: The suggestions for places to visit or things to do were abysmally under-researched. They specifically mentioned in the packing list email that our hotel had an indoor pool that we could enjoy; that pool has been drained of water for over a month. They suggested we visit a bookstore that has been permanently closed for who knows how long. Several of the stores and markets were closed on the days that we were visiting. As a result, we had to create our own itinerary for much of the trip.

Third: They charged us for expenses that were not actually incurred. When I asked for a breakdown of how funds were allocated, I noted a $90 charge for valet. When speaking with the hotel concierge, I learned that the parking/valet were included in the room price, so that $90 was entirely erroneous.

When I contacted customer service about the issues we had with our itinerary, they did return the $90 charge and half of the service fee. That said, I will likely not use this service again. A word of caution if you do decide to move forward:
1. Be SPECIFIC about what you do/don't want to do, and how you want the budget to be allocated (i.e. I would rather stay in simpler accommodations and have more money for tickets/experiences).
2. Even if you have no issues with your trip, ask for a copy of the budget allocation so that you can ensure there were no erroneous charges.

The booking process was so easy with Pack Up + Go. I am a busy full time working mom and I always have to schedule/plan everything. I LOVED (and cannot stress enough) that I did not have to plan a single thing. Everything was done for me. Great city and variety of activites with my 4yr old.

I had this planned for my husband and I's 10 year wedding anniversary. We took a trip into New England and road tripped our way down the coast! It was absolutely amazing. Everything from them planning and communication, the flights, hotels and bed & breakfasts, the prepaid activities, the dinner reservations, and the big white folder of literally EVERYTHING we needed to know. So organized to make everything flow perfectly. Definitely will be using them again in the future!

I saw this on a social media ad and added it to my bucket list. If you have to be in control of every detail, this is NOT for you. For those of you that are very sporadic and adventurous, this is for YOU!
