STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE FRAUDULENT SCAMMERS. I wish Product review introduces zero stars and negative rating since ozerty doesnt deserve even a 1 rating. I had added a $25 product in my card and inputted my payment details and when I clicked proceed, it asked me to buy an insurance for the product which was more than the product value so I cancelled the transaction immediately but they still went ahead and took the money. Shipping was free but charged $29 as eco charges for a $25 product so the total cost is $55. Reached out to them immediately when I received the order email and they refused to cancel the order stating its processed which is a lie. Their shipping timeframe was 19 to 21 days. Have reported to the bank and have changed my card details.

Scam business set up a monthly direct debit
Bought a chicken coop door. It did arrive but was faulty/not working. Was very difficult but I did get a replacement sent. The bank then notified that they blocked my card because this was a known scam business. They had charged me $14 in another transaction, plus set up a MONTHLY direct debit for the full purchase price. Then the item failed a month later. :(

I selected two products to qualify for free postage, only to be hit with an unexpected eco charge that ended up costing more than my order. This fee wasn’t displayed at the final checkout, so it was an unwelcome and unauthorised charge to my credit card.

So disappointed
So disappointed. My son saved to buy some magnets with his own money. Unknowingly he was charged an "eco-charge" of nearly the same price as the item. They said they would refund if we posted it back to China, but that is only for the item and not the nearly $30 eco fee!

Like almost everyone else on here, I fell for the excellent reviews on the Ozerty website and did not check trust pilot. I saw there was an 'eco-charge' but never expected it to be more than my order!!!! There was never any information about the cost of this charge until after I authorised a payment of $26.45 and found an extra $29.95 was added. Thieves! Now trying to dispute with my bank.

Re: Order OZ26106AU 3/6/25 Order $37.47 , charged $67.42 This company is a scam. They charged me a $29.95 "service fee" because I didn't spend $40 - despite advertising free postage - it's in their very small print! Don't deal with them. Unethical, deceitful and a complete ripoff. When you place an order, you don't get an invoice or a confirmation email. It's only when you check your bank statement that you find out about the extra $29.95. When you email them, they tell you it's a 'service fee" because you spent less than $40 and refer you to their T&C's. I emailed them immediately (within a few hours) to cancel the order and they said it was "too late" because they have an automated order system, but that I could return the goods when I received them. When I tried to return them them, they said I had to pay for the postage (they estimated ANOTHER $30) and I knew that they would only return my $37.47 if I was lucky and not the service fee, so I'd then be out of pocket $59.95. They've covered all the angles! I'm going to try to dispute with my bank, but I'm not optimistic! STAY AWAY FROM OZERTY!!!

Then I requested a refund because the item was absolutely terrible and the website said 20 day refund policy. But I would need to pay $30 shipping to send it back to china. Stay away from them

Stole my credit card details and tried to use them from France. Citi was very quick to pick it up as fraud. (5 minutes after transaction)
Never ever use this website or buy anything from it. It is complete fraud.

Chinese thieves
These guys are Chinese thieves, avoid if you can. Will cheat you on evry step and then blame it on your lack of attention - 'were sorry that you didn't notice that we will charge you $40 more than we said we were going to'. On the top of that they send a Chinese imitation of a product you thought you were buying. And then send you an email back saying that they will give you $10 back if give them 5 stars review. It's a joke!

Don’t ever buy from them. The reviews are obviously fake because I have tried to leave a terrible review about six times and it always disappears within seconds. The adds are very misleading and the products are terrible quality and sometimes not even what they claim to be. Cheap and nastily made.better of to get things of Temu.

Its probably legal but dishonest to the point of being a scam. I'm annoyed I fell for it. I knew it but thought that I'd agreed a price but the extra 100% appeared straight away. Deal with bigger online names only. Pay the extra and avoid these shysters.

This company is indeed a scam as per customer's reviews. My first time to fall to these lowlifes who prey on unsuspecting and trusting customers.
I bought a denture solution wrongly as I thought it was a false teeth, however, I don't wear one yet. This company uses ozerty.co.nz. They priced the item I bought at NZD22 with a discount code they've sent at 15%. So, my card was supposed to be debited with only NZD18.70. Alas, when I checked my card, I was debited with NZD49 without my consent. This is simply THEFT by this company.
I will report this to the Commerce Commission because this is WRONG and VIOLATES the FAIR TRADING ACT of 1986. Shame on this company.

Ozerty scam website. I bought a watch with free shipping total came to $18.49 and no mention of any services fee. Then you click pay and then after the transaction goes through, you get a confirmation email with a new total of $48.44 because they have added a $30 services charge. So I check my bank and sure enough $48.44 has been taken.
I immediately sent an email to cancel my order and of course no reply.
I have now contacted the bank and hope to get my money back.
Never again will I deal with these thieves.

Initially I thought I'd been scammed as extra charges were added to the purchase price. In reality the price of my purchase was too cheap. So I tracked my product as it traveled around the world and it was clear extra charges were needed for delivery. So I accepted this as reasonable. My purchase did arrive some 4 weeks later. So I wasn't really scammed. BUT here today and a month after my delivery OZERTY deducted from my card $59.85Au and $1.80 intfee for whonosewhat. Wasn't me. So Card is now canceled, dispute lodged and based on my/this experience I can call OZERTY A SCAMMER. So sad these ppl exist in this world.
