Cancelled booking. Oyo has yet to provide the promised full refund. They said 10 minutes but its been 2 days.

OYO charged me 3 times for one motel room at $56. They basically stole $112. WARNING: SCAM COMPANY!!!!

This was the single worst experience I've had booking a hotel. We had booked a non-smoking room for three nights, but when we arrived at 11:00 p.m, the only rooms available smelled like an ashtray. The outside of the room was littered with dead bugs, and I can't imagine the inside was much better. Unfortunately, we didn't get to explore with much of the inside because due to our asthma, we couldn't step foot in the room for more than a second.
Since we had booked through OYO, the hotel was unable to assist in any sort of refund, even though they sold the remaining rooms while we were waiting outside the office. We spent about 2 and 1/2 hours in the parking lot trying to contact any sort of support at OYO, but channels of communication that we were provided in are booking receipt did not seem to be connected. We attempted to make an account on OYO's app to see if there was any sort of action we could take ourselves to cancel the remaining nights with 24 hours notice, but the verification codes in order to set up the account were never sent, despite trying several methods. If it hadn't made our reservation in the first place, we would have thought that OYO was no longer in business.
If you still book with OYO, be aware that any ability to cancel/modify your stay will be null due to the fact that they do not seem to have a valid way to be reached. It's been 2 months, and I still have yet to hear back.

Oyo hotel time square new york ,great location, But its the worst hotel I've ever stayed in ,lifts to higher floors take to long because there are only 2 wait for ages,rooms are the worst I've stayed in ever,states that they have a gym and tea making facilities, the gym is a mile away off site and they don't have any facilities for tea or coffee making so a bit of false information, felt like Harry potter his room under the stairs was larger than our room ,bit dip in the floor by bathroom door nearly fell over a dozen times ,we never had any hot water for a whole day ,metal bed frame had exposed sharp corners both my wife and I have bruised shins kept walking into them as the rooms are so small,so to summerise the hotel ,fantastic location, worst hotel I've stayed at so I would urge you to try another hotel,

The YouTube ads are so annoying I’ll willingly spend more money elsewhere so I don’t have to use this service. Please can these motor mouths just be quiet.

Booked online 28 minutes later the hotel canceled our reservation and charged me $120 cancellation fee even though they’re the ones that canceled on us. I would stay away from any OYO hotel as they refuse to give a refund even though they are the ones legally in breach of the contract. So look out as they have no problem ripping people off.

Oyo hotel Orlando OBT lo peor , drogas prostitución al llegar y ver aquel infierno quise mi dinero pero era tarde al segundo día llegó al infierno ese me habían echado del infierno alegadamente por qué estaba usando drogas en el cuarto lo cual es mentira al día siguiente otra excusa al final se reservan el derecho de admisión , me pidieron depósito en CASH todo se lo ROBARON haces la reservación como oyó hotel pero era econolodge LO PEOR..era la graduación de mi hijo al día siguiente , termine comprando en Walmart para resolver , cuando el Papá más orgulloso del planeta estaba listo con buena ropa.. viajo cada 45 días primera vez en mi vida..HORRIBLE..

I booked a motel room through the OYO website, which includes a cancellation option.
After a while I canceled my arrival, and when I canceled, the website said "It takes approximately 10 minutes to initiate the refund. Please come back after some time to check the status of your refund."
Of course I did not receive the money.
After a while I called and they told me that I would receive the money back within 24-48 hours.
Even after this time I did not receive the money.
A week later I called and they hung up on me. After three times they told me that this was not the right number, and gave me another number. They sent me to ask for money from Motel 6 at a third number.
I asked why the website said that the money would be refunded, and there was no answer, they just waved me away.
Horrible!

I never leave bad reviews but this was insane. You should know that
I am NOT one to clutch my pearls, I am not a sensitive person, I can usually roll with anything. We were in the room 5 minutes and saw 3 German cockroaches, bloodstains and hair on multiple layers of sheets and bedding on one bed, and some kind of yellow and black stains on the other bed's sheets. It looked like someone walked on it in shoes and then peed on it. The parking lot was crawling with legitimate crackheads. One asked me to buy him a drink if he gave me money, he looked 40 so I have no idea what that was about. Don't go here, sleep in your car if you have to, but not in that parking lot. You'll most likely die.

UPDATE: the management of Aladdin Motel/OYO Rooms are fully denying me any refund of $400 because "there was absolutely nothing wrong" with the room. Which I only spent 5 minutes in and then left and never came back. So they just got a free $400 from a disabled woman and probably rented out the same room and got more money too. I wish I could attach photos so you can see that what Aladdin Motel/OYO Rooms consider "nothing wrong," which was absolutely unacceptable, filthy, disgusting, and the only time I've ever rejected a motel or hotel room in my life.

I reserved a hotel room, unfortunately we had to change the reservation to upgrade to a different larger room. OYO charged us for the first room and the second room. The original room reservation was to be refunded back to our bank account. It’s been over 3 months now and we still haven’t gotten the money- $666.77 that was taken by OYO. I have made several calls and emails. Customer support service is lacking to say the least. I have submitted everything they have requested, and still no refund. Very disappointed with the service, the room, and the breakfast.
The whole experience was terrible. All I want is my refund. I will never recommend this motel chain it anyone. Lesson learned read the reviews before booking, it will save you money and time!!!!! Still waiting on my $666.77

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH OYO is not reliable. They won’t return money do it through the Hotel platform better or other more reliable companies.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Dirty rooms, terrible bathrooms, very very poorly maintained property. Air conditioning is simply horrible and the lifts are super small and slow. Look at the pictures of the shades and all the duct tape around the windows. ( It seems I cannot upload the pictures to this page, another "nice" trick !)Only positives are location and lovely staff at reception. Expedia ( understanding is the middle- man ) charged us 1600 usd for two bedrooms to nights. A JOKE. Again, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Management should be ashamed. They are lying at This Hotel Trying to make it seem as if it's a hospital with the ads. I booked a 28 day stay as an apartment private room with company, boyfriend and they keep letting old white men pull up on my apartment and they stalking my boyfriend scaring him out of drinking liquor and smoking weed with me, even stalking our music and tv stations. The Owner Might Even be behind the Mirror Connected To my bathroom. They Keep Walking And Talking Past My Room Behind My Back Sending Unknown Vehicles To Harm Me Too. And Knocking On my door as if I owe them money for rent and faking housekeeping.

First off.. login requires providing a Google account or phone number. Both of which I don't have to offer OYO.

When booking, the site gave me no confirmation that the booking was successful. I was sent back to the previous page. It took 15+ minutes to get a confirmation email. Within that time I attempted to book again. Both ended up going through.

I immediately requested a refund. I got an email stating the refund is initiated. It's been 8+ weeks, no refunds. I contacted OYO 5+ weeks ago about not receiving the refund. Communication has been poor and I still haven't received it.

I just opened a credit card dispute. I'll never book through these guys again.

I have been scammed the hotel is saying my booking is not in the system at all ,I spent 270

Staying at a studio 6 Ocala, fl, which is an Oyo brand hotel. This has got to be the most ghetto experience of my life. Housekeepers living at the hotel, smoking weed in uniform outside the room with their roommates and getting arrested here for domestic violence with multiple cops with their guns drawn. Housekeepers going off on guests for LOOKING at them as they walk by to where she (Lisa) can’t control herself saying why’s this b*tch lookin at me? and five other housekeepers have to pull her into the laundry room and this chick is still employed and walking around the hotel after she did this in front of her manager? Housekeeping has no extra linens. What they do have is stained and nasty. They don’t clean extended stays. Tell guests to get their own sh*t. Wtf. A guest has a car system speaker in his room for the last week with the bass up and down vibrating all the room around it. Multiple complaints have been made by myself and other guests. Manage spoke to him once and it’s continued for days. Cops were pounding on my door at 1:30am due to a noise complaint someone made about the guests across from me. They didn’t open their door so the cops were back an hour later for arguing and doors slamming which has continues for three more nights until 3am. It’s like nobody’s managing the place at all.

I canceled the reservation in time and was denied a refund even after I appealed the charge twice.

Hotel Reservation charge was collected in advance but the property is not aware of any advance payment. When cancelling oyorooms.com says "contact the property for refund" and the property says" We did not collect any advance payment, so nothing to refund". Never book through this agent.
