I had a problem with my food scale
I had a problem with my food scale. I contacted customer service and after sending a picture of my scale they sent me a new one at no cost. Great company and customer service.

OXO TOT Wipes Cases and Dispensers Model Travel Wipes Dispenser ARE THE WORST PRODUCT! They do not keep the wipes moist but dry them out quicker instead. This company does not take responsibility and ignores your complaints. DISGRACEFUL.
Asked me to send them a defective $20 cocktail shaker. Silly process.
I buy OXO for their quality and their great pieces. All of the products I have from them have been pretty good hence why I keep buying from them. However, I had an issue with their cocktail shaker where the base suddenly got wobbly out of nowhere and warped. It doesn't sit flat on any surfaces anymore.
I thought OXO would be helpful or at least send me a new base (I would be willing to pay for shipping if it's reasonable). However, they responded to me asking me for my physical address, so they could make a label and asked me to send this $20 cocktail shaker to them so they could "investigate".
While I do understand this is a solution, this is absolutely convoluted and silly. The shipping costs, packaging costs, time wasted and carbon footprint would cost more in the long-run than to just send in a new base/cup for the cocktail shaker.
I think the products are great, the website is easy to browse and customer service did respond quickly to me and very kindly too. But this process of resolving a defective product is just so silly.
Buyer Beware
I recently ordered some kitchen storage containers from oxo.com. When they arrived, I noticed that they were made from number 7 plastic and I wanted to return them. Unfortunately, the only return policy stated on their website was "contact us."
I contacted them. I received an automated reply that someone would respond within 48 hours. Six days later, I received an email telling me all the reasons I shouldn't return the product, but if I still wanted to, I should send the order number.
I sent the order number. I received an automated reply telling me someone would reply within 48 hours. Ten days later (and only after writing again), I received the instructions on how to return the item. It was going to cost me $40 to ship it back. I didn't bother and donated the item instead.
I don't know why they can't publish their return policy on their site like everyone else. Be warned.
