The drawers we bought are genuinely…
The drawers we bought are genuinely unusable. All of the drawers are misaligned and fall out to the floor the minute you try to use them. I’ve tried contacting customer service and have had no response. Keep clear!!

Order delivered to wrong address and…
Order delivered to wrong address and their delivery driver forged a signature so they could leave it. They admit this but wont issue a refund. Extremely difficult to deal with and drag their heels at every stage. Then they wanted me to file a police report (clear misunderstanding of consumer rights act - I never had ownership. The item was taken from them, not me. They need to file one if they so desire)
Will do anything to wriggle out of a refund. Awful company. Avoid at all costs

As soon as you reported the issue, we immediately raised an investigation with DX, and this investigation remains ongoing. As part of their enquiries, DX have provided a signed proof of delivery, delivery photographs and GPS data, all of which indicate that the driver was at the correct delivery location when the parcel was delivered.
We appreciate your concerns regarding the signature, and these have also been raised with DX as part of the investigation. Until their investigation has concluded, we are unable to comment further or determine the final outcome.
We understand how frustrating this situation is and appreciate your patience whilst the investigation is ongoing. We remain committed to working with DX to reach a conclusion as quickly as possible and will update you as soon as we receive their final findings.

Great customer service
When my bedroom furniture arrived, one of the bedside cabinet side panels was damaged. Rang and reported straight away. Got an immediate response from Will who asked for photos and the part number. Organised a replacement panel straight away which arrived 4 days later. Unfortunately it was the wrong panel from a different collection. Rang Will again who was really apologetic and said he would get another panel sent. This arrived 3 days later and is now correct. Also had responses from Katie, both her and Will have been wonderful. Really pleased with the quality of the furniture and from customer services. Would highly recommend using Own Furniture.

What a con indeed
What a con indeed!
All I can see here are a company defending poor customer service and accusatory behaviour for poorly made items and gas lighting behaviour.
I wish I had reviewed the company before purchasing.
I am not someone that typically writes reviews or complains however the treatment I’ve received is beyond disgusting. Having worked in customer services for over 20 years, large successful/global companies which I accept this one is not, it begs belief how they are still trading and not on an episode of rogue traders!
2 wardrobes ordered, identical, assemble in line with manufacturers instructions and the wood chips, splits and pieces fall off due to parts not being adequate to support the weight of the wardrobe. Extremely disappointing after moving into a new home, obviously needing the products to then see it fall apart in front of your eyes.
Contact customer services immediately provide photographs of the damaged parts which to be honest is most of them due to the product not being fit for purpose to be told they can’t determine how it happened.
I am now a week in nearly of back and forth with them about refunding and collecting the items.
I also sent them a video clearly showing how unstable the wardrobe was when stood up.
Instead of asking me when the video was taken, they immediately respond by confirming there were 4 pieces of thin ply wood missing that would have made it structurally sound! I have never in my 20 years heard anything so outrageous.
The video was taken after the parts failed as the back pieces broke off due to it not being structurally sound as per the poor quality of items sent.
I have asked if they are members of the ADR and for the details because this goes beyond the money, this is about the service and lack of, accusatory emails and sheer lack of acceptance of the Consumer Rights Act.
I have been polite, accommodating and am met with excuses and defensiveness to avoid following the law.
I would avoid at all costs and as stated above I don’t usually leave reviews but I don’t want anyone else to experience what I have/am.
I will continue to update on my experience and leave reviews daily if needed to prevent anyone else falling into this unnecessary back and forth.

We are genuinely sorry that you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your case.
As soon as you contacted us, we immediately raised a formal case with the wardrobe manufacturer and supplied all of the photographs and information you provided. The manufacturer initially offered replacement parts to resolve the issue, however this option was declined.
Following your further correspondence, including the additional evidence you supplied, we submitted everything back to the manufacturer for a further technical assessment. After reviewing all of the evidence, including the video, the manufacturer's conclusion was that the wardrobe had not been assembled in accordance with the assembly instructions and had been stood upright before the rear back panels had been fitted. The rear panels form an integral part of the wardrobe's structural stability, and the manufacturer therefore concluded that the damage was not the result of a manufacturing fault.
We appreciate that this was not the outcome you were hoping for. However, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions, the manufacturer's technical assessment is final when determining whether an issue is manufacturing-related.
We understand this has been a frustrating experience, and we're sorry that we were unable to reach a resolution that met your expectations.

worst company ever
Would rate it a 0 if i could. Worst company i’ve ever bought from. Bought a £170 wardrobe and chose a delivery date. Delivery was nearly a week later. Once arrived more than 80% of the parts broken. Then i emailed them and they said the best they could offer was £20 compensation for the broken parts. Baring in mind most of the wood was broken. Been back and fourth for weeks with no solution as i asked for a £70 refund and the best they can do is £20. Awful customer service, cheaply made, and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Update-
I did NOT request a £100 refund at all, not once. I said i would pay £100 instead of £170 which is a £70 refund like stated above. Seriously this company is a joke i wouldn’t even recommend to my worst enemy.

We understand that you requested a £100 partial refund, however, the highest goodwill gesture we have been able to offer is £26. This amount is more than double the cost that we would incur to replace the affected parts, and we believe it represents a fair offer in the circumstances.
Alternatively, we have also offered to replace the damaged parts, which remains available should you prefer this option.
We're genuinely sorry that we haven't been able to reach an outcome that meets your expectations, but we remain happy to honour our offer of either the £26 goodwill gesture or replacement parts if you wish to proceed.

Company don’t respond , cheap materials used BEAWARE
I made numerous attempts to contact the company regarding the chest draw deliveries. The wood was damaged where the wholes were which made it unable to be built and unstable.
I requested a partial refund or for them to send a new piece out as it’s the main sideboard for the chest draw and sent picture evidence.
I got no response from the company. Waste of time and money
