Never buy from these, poor quality furniture, lots of damage to panels on delivery. One panel of the wardrobe was actually broken in half.

I’m very sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with your order and would like to sincerely apologise for any disappointment caused.
We always aim to resolve any problems as quickly and smoothly as possible, however, in this instance, the issue was first raised with us on 12/05/2025, and the items were delivered on Tuesday 15/04/2025 at 12:41. Unfortunately, as this was outside of our 14-day damage notification period, we were unable to secure free-of-charge replacement parts from our supplier.
As outlined in our policy:
"If you have purchased a flat packed product, we ask that you check every part and panel is present and correct before you attempt any assembly of the item. This step prevents any additional inconvenience for you. If any part is missing or damaged please contact our customer services team within 14 days of delivery by email at customerservices@ownfurniture.co.uk to notify us of the problem. In the case of damages, we will require images of the affected parts to be attached to the email. We will work to dispatch free of charge replacement parts to resolve the issue. Please retain your original packaging as this will be required in the event that return or collection of part/s or product/s is required."

Own furniture had my item out on time but unfortunately due to the delivery company there was some delays. Own furniture customer service team were great in helping me getting this issue resolved bycommunicating with the delivery the Company and getting my item delivered. They were so apologetic even though it wasn't them at fault.

I accidentally scratched a drawer front when putting the wardrobe together and Own Furniture kindly affected to send me another free of charge. Sadly, when this replacement arrived, it had been damaged in the post. I really didn’t expect they would send me another without charging me, but they did. Absolutely amazing customer service. Damaged items
Damaged items. Customer service won’t do anything. Got offered £15 goodwill gesture which isn’t even 10% of the cost when 2 pieces of furniture are covered it marks/damaged. As I didn’t accept this they asked if I’d accept the parts instead. After listing the parts I needed they then changed their mind. Said I’d need to unassemble, package back in the ORIGINAL boxes and they would arrange to collect them. 2 weeks later than when I sent the 15+ images of all the damage like I’d just leave 2 huge boxes laying around.
Honestly a complete joke. Order from elsewhere unless you’re 100% certain you’re getting a perfect item because their customer service is lacking.

Please know our customer service team worked hard to get this increased - this is something that requires approval from the manufacturer and the customer service team did their best to advocate for a fair outcome. We are sorry that this did not meet your expectation.
As you'd requested nearly all of the parts for both items to be replaced, we explained that returning the originals was necessary so we could ensure you received replacements in perfect condition. We would have been more than happy to send full replacements as soon as the returned items were securely packaged for collection. Unfortunately, this option was also declined.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry this didn't meet your expectations. If we can assist in the future, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Assumed I’d have help with delivery as my address indicates I’m in a flat.
Assumption perhaps on me. But Just moved in and had zero problems having things delivered. But delivery guy said it was just him left me with a bed to get up 3 floors on my own. And said I should have paid for it next time. But there’s no option too! Otherwise I would have
So since they responded I went back on their website to see about having a fully assembled wardrobe delivered. Only 1 delivery option available which was free (lovely) but there was no other option wouldn’t even let me click anything. Moved on to review order same thing. I have screenshot this to their customer service for them to be able to Navigate where I missed it. I will update once they show me where I missed it.
Moved to 2 stars as despite awful delivery the bed is very nice. I’ve even ordered from there again but surprise surprise more delivery issues

I’d like to take this opportunity to clarify our delivery options, which are outlined in the Delivery section of our website. At checkout, the One Man Service was selected for your order. This service is classed as a ‘doorstep delivery’, where the driver will bring your items to the first accessible door of your property but, unfortunately, is unable to take them inside.
For future orders, we do offer a Two Man Service, which is available for £45.00. This service includes delivery to a room of your choice within the property, which might be a more suitable option for larger or heavier items.
We truly apologise if this wasn’t clear at the time of purchase, and for any inconvenience caused. Our phone lines are always open if you have any questions about delivery options, or if you'd like to make any special arrangements — we’re more than happy to assist wherever we can.

Don't normally write reviews but am so disappointed I have no choice. I ordered wardrobes and several draw chests in February. Whilst the order and delivery were very prompt, and the delivery driver did say the boxes were damaged and would state in his paper work I excepted delivery. I had already got rid of my old bedroom furniture so hoped there would he no major damage. I opened all the boxes and noted that there were some scratches and the odd chip, but thought as the would not be seen due to the placement in the room it wouldn't matter so ive kept them. Once I came to assemble the furniture thats when problems occurred. The products are poor quality and tightening fixings caused the side panel to split. As I continued to assemble other items I discovered more marks and scratches I did take photos and was going to contact the company but also know once you've assembled furniture its so much harder to return (past experience) Yes they were cheep to buy but hoping to get a couple of years out them till I have enough money to buy solid wood again. But sadly after only 2 months the top of one set if draws are already peeling I since noticed far more marks and scratches. Will not be purchasing from this company again, will save and go back to soil wood.

"Upon delivery, if you notice substantial damage to the outer packaging that your item arrives in and believe that it is likely to have damaged the product inside, we kindly ask that you refuse the delivery and when asked to sign any paperwork, please mark as ‘refused - damaged’. In this instance, please contact our customer services team on 0333 014 7733 so that we can arrange the dispatch of replacement products."
We also ask customers to carefully inspect items before beginning assembly to avoid any further inconvenience and are willing to help resolve any issues.
We regret that this process wasn't possible in your case, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

We bought 2 wardrobes from this company…
We bought 2 wardrobes from this company and a number of panels were damaged by the delivery company who ratchet strapped 2 of the parcels too tightly. As soon as we unpacked them we rang the company, and the customer service team were brilliant, on receipt of photos from us they arranged replacement panels and chased the courier to make sure they were delivered without damage. They raised a complaint with the original courier, but replaced our panels quickly. The customer service team are polite, helpful and went above and beyond to help us. I would recommend this company and hope they don't sent any more work the way of the original courier.

Cheap Tat Furniture Seller
I am leaving this review for Own Furniture because the product I bought was low quality. I have tried to leave a review of the item on their website twice, but they won’t post it because it isn’t positive. It seems they only post positive reviews of their goods. So, I am posting it here instead so customers can get an accurate appraisal of the wardrobe I bought.
Malvern 2 Door Double Wardrobe
Cheap 15mm panels. No cam and dowel just screws, which have to be tightened by hand. The instructions state, using power tools will void the warranty, probably because you will cause damage to the poor-quality materials.
The screw holes are not countersunk therefore the screws don't sit flush and the cheap stickers provided to cover the screwheads don't really hide the fact there is a screw there.
The whole thing is cheap tat made in Malaysia possibly for about a fiver!
Ordering to delivery was good but the fact I have already left this review twice on their site and it wasn't published speaks volumes!!
I would give this wardrobe and company a miss.
