Arjun and Outfitter Himalaya did a fantastic job for our Trip a Deal tour to Nepal (Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan) and Bhutan (Thimpu, Paro, Punakha). Also many thanks for organising activities for our free time/extension after the Trip A Deal tor was over - Lumbini (Buddhas birthplace) and Bhaktapur. All the guides and drivers were excellent and kept us informed and entertained. I have no hesitation in recommending this agency as being a honest and reputable tour company.

We did an 8-day Langtang Valley trek and it was fantastic. Our guide Saroj and assistant Indra were wonderful and we highly recommend Arjun at Outfitter Himalaya.

What can I say, this company, Outfitter Himalaya Holidays was absolutely amazing. 2 guides and 5 porters looked after us to the highest level. The guides made sure we all achieved our goal of getting to Annapurna Base Camp. And took care of all our needs. The porter carried our bags and had them outside our rooms on arrival at the lodges. They even came back to the group to assist with day packs for the hikers who were struggling. Terrific support. The lodges were great and offered great food with good choice. Expect some cold showers but that just adds to the experience. Annapurna Trek itself was difficult but amazing, the scenery and experience was more than imagined, we never felt rushed and we all had the best experience. Outfitter Himalaya even took us out to a nice restaurant on the last night in Kathmandu for a farewell dinner. Highly recommend this company.

We had a 9 day customised private tour organised by Arjun at OutfittersHimalaya and would recommend this company to arrange a tour. As we are in our 70"s we were unable to do some of the normal activities in Nepal but Arjun was able to amend and suggest other ways to do things. We had a driver and a guide for all activities and they were able to look after us well. Nepal is a great country and Outfitters Himalaya did not disappoint

Our Kathmandu tour was unforgettable to begin with and covered all the sites on our wish list efficiently.
With poor weather causing delay and cancellations of flights to Lukla, Arjun worked miracles to secure for us helicopter transport so we could start our EBC adventure.
Our guides, Bir and Deapak were excellent, supporting all 7 of our group. They took care of arranging all of our meals ahead of time, organising everything for us and sharing their knowledge. This meant that we could concentrate on maximising our enjoyment of our dream trek. It was great to get to know them also and become our friends as the trek progressed.
Most importantly, they also made sure that we all could complete the entire trek safely. Our porters were fantastic also.
We recommend the team at Outfitter highly and cannot thank them enough for providing us with as smooth an experience as possible and making our Nepal experience absolutely unforgettable!

Outfitter Himalaya Holidays… Where to start!!

We were picked up at the airport and taken to our lovely little hotel, this was a smooth process which made arriving in a new country less overwhelming.
We were met by Arjun the company owner who I found to be a kind, gentle and honest man. Arjun kept us informed about everything prior to heading over to Lukla to start our trek. There were some issues with flights to Lukla which were out of Outfitters hands and common when flying to Lukla but Arjun worked really hard to get us there and remained patient with his inexperienced, slightly stressed travellers.

We were met by our guide Dipak who clearly wanted to see us get started on our adventure too. Dipak kept us safe, checking on our wellbeing continually during the trek and working quietly to keep our trek running smoothly so if there was any hiccups, we didn’t know about them.

Our porters had our gear ready for us at each stop. We would sometimes pass them on the trail and amazingly they would arrive well before us with our bags safely waiting. They were strong, hard working guys who always had a smile for us.

There were many people who made this trek the best experience of our lives but for me, our assistant guide Bir was an absolute stand out! His kind, gentle, caring, funny, humble and sincere nature was a breath of fresh air. Bir knew what we needed before we did, after a long day trekking, although he must have been tired himself, he made sure we had everything we needed, only looking after himself once he was sure we were all ok. Bir had so much local knowledge and was happy to share it all with us which made our trek a much deeper experience. There were times that were difficult and there may have been a few tears, especially some of the hikes at higher altitude. Bir was there with a gentle hand up to make sure we reached our peaks safely. I cannot express enough gratitude for having Bir by our side.

I would 100% recommend using Outfitter Himalaya Holidays. I know I will return and they will be my first choice for my next trek. ❤️

The trip was well organised. communication with Arjun was excellent. The down jackets, sleeping bag and duffel bag provided were fantastic and kept us warm and toasty on the coldest nights.

Our guide Raj was informative and answered all our questions. He was very patient and always happy to help and assist. I was well all the way to EBC but when I got sick after Kala Patthar he was very helpful in organising the helicopter evacuation and hospital admission and visited me in hospital whilst I was there which is always a scary experience when you are not in your own country!

The porters we had were also very helpful and kind. I can’t fault this company in any way and would definitely go on treks with them again!

Fantastic customer service - Outfitter always helped quickly with my questions. No matter if before, during or after my trek.

The value of the trip itself was also great. I always had an individual room for myself. My tour guide Saroj served me in every lodge as he would be my own waiter. He also was my personal "protector" at all times - no matter if for translation purposes or for extra trekking routes. He sacrificed during the whole stay for my well being!

Have in mind, that the standard is low everywhere in the accommodations on the mountains. It can be cold and loud, but this is everywhere like this, there simply is no higher standard.

Generally I slept very well - the sleeping bag and jacket (given by outfitter) were very helpful and made me suddenly feel very warm, when I froze! I was happy to not suffer from any altitude sickness desease. Sometimes just had some mild headache from 4.800m on.

On the way down we reached Lukla airport already within 2 days (instead of 3!) and I was very happy that Outfitter made it possible to spontaneously change my flight to one day ahead!

Also after the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla was canceled due to weather conditions, outfitter immediately organized a taxi so we could reach Manthali (Ramechap) airport the next day. The flight from Ramechap to Lukla with those tiny planes is absolutely lovely.

Just returned from the Everest Base Camp Trek with Outfitters Himalaya. One of the best trek experience my sis and i have had. Of the many tour agencies i reached out to, Arjun was very responsive, patient and knowledgeable. He was never pushy and was able to provide us with information that we required which gave us alot of comfort. The trek was very smooth from start to end and everything was well arranged. We also had the opportunity to trek with our guide, Pralad and porter, Sarude. Both of whom were excellent and attentive. We were well taken care of throughout the trip - for example, because it was so cold, Pralad made sure to request for rooms which could get some sunlight (thus warmer) at the guesthouses as well as got us extra blankets. I also ended up getting altitude sickness and had to be heli evacuated. Arjun and Pralad were very helpful and made the necessary transport and hospital arrangements. Arjun constantly checked in when i was warded and i was able to recover without having to worry about the administrative matters. Would definitely trek with Outfitters Himalaya again when i am in Nepal.

My husband and i had a wonderful Classic Annapurna trek with Outfitter Himalaya. It was our first time to Nepal and the experience overall exceeded expectation in large part because of the high quality of service that was provided. From first contact with Arjun when enquiring about options Arjun was quick and thorough with his responses. As we prepared for the trek every question I sent was answered promptly and this gave us confidence in the company. This proved correct as every detail of the trip was smooth and handled with professionalism. From pick up at the airport, the standard of hotel in both Kathmandu and Pokhara, the day tour in Kathmandu with guide Sabita (who was very pleasant, knowledgeable, great English skills) to the trek itself.
Our guide Saroj and porter Kuber were top notch. We had a lot of fun with them and felt safe and our needs were well cared for. They were reliable and trustworthy and nothing seemed a bother to them. Our guide made sure we knew what was coming up next and communicated clearly with us. We were very grateful for his expertise the very challenging day of the pass and his commitment to our safety. The quality of food at the tea houses was great and plentiful. Our guide and porter always provided us with a platter of freshly cut peeled fruit after dinner which was a kind touch that I didn’t notice groups from other companies receiving. The tea houses themselves varied a lot depending on what options were available but from what we observed we were mostly at places on the nicer end of the range. It’s important to have realistic expectations in terms of the type of accommodation tea houses provide. Every bed we slept on was comfortable which was a pleasant surprise to me! We used sleeping bags and duffle bags provided by the company. We were never cold in bed. Not every place had hot showers but there were enough that did - most had western style toilets- make sure you BYO toilet paper as this isn’t provided at any tea house.
We got to observe lots of trekking groups along the way and could see the quality of guides varied considerably. We were very pleased with our choice of company, our guide and our porter and thoroughly recommend them to anyone wanting an amazing trek in the stunning and varied landscapes that the Annapurna circuit takes you through.

Just returned from a 14 day Annapurna Base Camp trekking tour facilitated by Outfitters Himalaya and had an experience far greater than expected. Created an amazing bond throughout the fortnight with our tour guide (Amrit) and port (Ram) that highly elevated the experience above a standard holiday. Would highly recommend Outfitters Himalaya, Amrit and Ram to anyone considering a trekking experience in Nepal!

What a holiday to remember! I could not speak highly enough of Outfitter Himalayas! Such an amazing experience!

From initial communciations with Arjun (so helpful and patient) to our wonderful guide Armit, porter Raj, to the final farewell dinner with Arjun in Kathmandu - everything was seamless and stressfree - loved every minute of it! I can't wait to go back.

After a substantial amount of research, Outfitter HImalayas sounded like the best for our timings and needs, as well as great value for money, and it did not disappoint. I was extremely happy with our choice of guide/porter, hotels accommodation (central, clean, comforable), tea houses, and format of the trip. Being our first time in Nepal, and new to multiday hikes, we choose the 12 days Best of Nepal - 5 days Poon Hill trek, Chitwan and Pokhara, Kathmandu. Hoping to do the Annapurna trek soon.

It was the personal interactions like the welcome briefing and farewell dinner with Arjun was a nice touch, well organised and thoughtfulness of Arjun and his team, that made this trip so special and memorable.

The BEST TOUR GUIDE - Armit - was absolutely brilliant - everything that you would want in a guide, and more! Attentive, knowledgeable, patient, strong, caring, great sense of humour - he took care of all the details, leaving us to enjoy the trip to the max.

The BEST PORTER - Raj - super strong, friendly, helpful, caring, good photography too! There was so much laughter on our treks with Armit and Raj, made it that much more memorable. I adopted them as my brothers :)

Everest Base Camp trek Nov 2023 - the whole team at Outfitter Himalaya were professional and created a truly amazing experience for our diverse group of trekkers. Thanks to Raj, Bir and Zidan for taking great care of us on the trek and Arjun for the coordination of the group in Kathmandu.

Our tour the highlights of Nepal certainly lived up to expectations. The guides were excellent, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The scenery, wildlife and culture made the trip truly memorable. The food was really out of this world, so good especially for vegetarians. We were really happy with the whole experience and highly recommended the team.

Just returned from annapurna circuit trek which was just the best experience. Very tough going in parts but so rewarding

I have just returned from a 12 day Nepal Adventure Trek with Outfitter Himalaya Hoildays. This is one if the best experiences of my life. The 5 day trek, including Poon Hill was just amazing, it was exhilarating trekking. Raj our lead guide was brilliant, he cared for multi aged group from 17 years to 76 years. He made sure we were all looked after and ensured all needs were meet. The sherpas were a lovely bunch and looked after us too. The time spent in Kathmandu with our guide Soba was wonderful too. This is the second time I have travelled with Outfitter Himalaya and both trips have been fantastic. Thank you for two brilliant holidays in Nepal.

The OUTFITTER HIMALAYA trek company in Nepal organised all our needs, including seamless airport transport, accommodations, lodges, relevant meals, buses/transport/drivers, guides and sherpas on the 5 day trek and Kathmandu, Chitawan National Park visits.

We had an unbelievable and exquisite holiday. The 13 day itinerary was full. Everyday, was different and we we rewarded time and time again by the sheer magnificence and beauty of Nepal and the cultural richness that the local people were so willing to share.

Personally, I was challenged by the steep accents and walked at a much slower pace than the 2 other people on the trek. The steep accents on Day 2 were the most difficult.
Raj (our guide(was able to arrange a pony for each of us for the last few km of day 2 and this was welcome and quite another ‘adventure’
We managed the rest of the days - even though slower than our other 2 travel companions.
Our trusted guide and sherpas were always there to support us and whilst we struggled at times, it was all so worthwhile .

I would highly recommend Outfitter HIMALAYA company to anyone.
They are incredibly well organised, highly professional, and all the staff we met were highly knowledgeable, friendly, easy going and very accommodating.
Nothing was too difficult. All our questions were answered respectfully during our time with our main guide -Raj Thapa.
We formed quick, genuine, trusting relationship and friendship which will be long lasting.
Raj is the most kind, friendly, patient and compassionate person. He is also incredibly experienced, has been in the industry for many years and he has the perfect personality for ensuring his guests feel accepted, relaxed and he was equally very supportive and encouraging every step of the way.
So many great memories !! and lots of laughing 😂..
We felt lucky to have only 2 other travel companions in our group and we travelled at the beginning of the season which added to the quiet and serene nature of the trek.

Our Accommodation included: Hotel Jampa in Kathmandu, Hotel Splendid View in Pokhara and Rhino Land Lodge in Chitawan NP were all extraordinary- Rooms comfortable, clean, tidy and welcome AC.
The staff were without exception, genuinely friendly and they’re fabulous.in-house meals were delicious. Just loved the food everywhere in Nepal. Dal Bhat is a dish made of lentils and rice. The rice is surrounded by the dal/lentils and some other curries, achar's or chutney's. My other staple was yummy Masala tea.
Overall, the lodgings on Trek were fine- basic clean, comfortable and welcoming. Warm, Shower, Food, clean linen in the rooms. Always good company in communal areas and time to share yummy meal and our experiences each day.

My dear friends - Arjun, Raj. Sobita, Laxman and Hari, Dave and all our drivers and hotel staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🙏 It will never be enough.- even though we travelled for a short time, this trip and the OUTFITTER HIMALAYA trek company has left us with exquisite life long memories ❤️🙏

Arjun, the owner, had his people at the airport, and hotel on time. Everything was explained clearly and there were not any missed connections. Arjun also made himself available on WhatsApp to deal with the unexpected, as my friend was unable to complete the trek and Arjun made arrangements for his transportation and accommodation. The trekking guide was a pleasant and helpful young man. The trek itself was wonderful and filled with tea houses along the trail, amazing views of mountains and forests. I also enjoyed visiting with the Nepali people and foreigners. We stayed in the local villages while trekking, but before and after the trek Arjun put us up in the newest and finest hotel in Kathmandu. As an American I had no complaints or concerns at all about hygiene, sanitation or security. We had breakfast on the 7th floor while enjoying an amazing view from the Barahi Kathmandu hotel where we stayed. Two things that would have made it a bit better: 1) The guide understood English better than basic, but it would have been nice if he had been fluent because I had questions about Nepal that he couldn’t answer, either for lack of understanding, or lack of vocabulary to respond. 2). Having the physical address of the hotel before arriving would have been helpful as I took an earlier flight and arrived sooner than expected, but couldn’t complete the “Visa on Arrival” form. Nonetheless, those things don’t detract from Arjun taking good care of us. He also took us out to dinner that last night so we could debrief him about the trip. The trip was everything I had hoped. Thank you Arjun!

Excellent guides and driver, they made our tour a joy. They catered for my partners mobility difficulty so that she was able to experience Nepal.
