I’ve just returned from a 12-day trek to Everest Base Camp (EBC) with Outfitter Himalaya (10/10/2025 - 21/10/2025). The EBC Trekking experience was unforgettable, especially with Outfitter Himalaya. They have a very good and professional team, and Arjun, the tour manager, was incredibly helpful and cooperative. My guide, Bhim, and my porter, Prim, were very passionate about their work. The views from Lukla to EBC are breathtaking, with each day presenting a different variety of landscapes.

If you are considering trekking in Nepal (EBC, Gokyo Lake, Chola Pass, Annapurna, Langtang, or even Bhutan), I highly recommend Outfitter Himalaya. This was my first adventure in Nepal with them, and they left me with very good impressions. Arjun explained that Outfitter Himalaya can accommodate customized trekking adventures based on the clients' needs. Thank you so much, Arjun, for your wonderful and professional services.

They are very professional, they are passionate about their work, and they are a lot of fun!

I really recommend booking with them because they are *very* responsive to questions and requests for information. But once everything was arranged, they handled everything from hotels, food, and guides/porters, and I only needed to focus on moving my own two feet steadily up Annapurna!

What an amazing experience! So happy we did this. Our tour guide, Raj was the best of the best. The whole trip from pick up to drop off was seamless. I never had to think or worry about anything, which is what you want for a holiday. My husband and I always felt safe and well looked after with Raj and his troops (porters Hari, Hom and Kalyan). The 5 day hike was spectacular, with beautiful scenery along the way. It was challenging at times but worth every minute. Chitwan safari was very cool. We saw rhinos, monkeys, deer and many different birds. The accommodation we stayed at along the way was nice considering they were tea houses up in the mountains. Clean with just the amenities needed for a good nights rest. And the people running them were lovely. To top the trip off we met and befriended 3 wonderful humans and had the best time sharing our experience with them. I’ll definitely book with Outfitter Himalaya Holidays again! Thanks team!

I just recently completed a Nepal and Bhutan trip Outfitter Himalaya Holidays. The quality of their guides and their service was impeccable.
We were in Nepal during the recent uprising and at no time did we feel unsafe. Their guide and driver went over and beyond to keep us safe.
While in Bhutan we also had excellent guides and driver.
Cannot recommend this company highly enough and would definitely travel with them again

Our trip with Outfitter Himalaya Holidays was fantastic from start to finish. Communication with Arjun and our guides was excellent throughout the trip. The tour of Kathmandu with Kabita was so educational and interesting-we saw everything we wanted and more. The trek to ABC was amazing and our guide Saroj was everything we needed - he was funny, encouraging, serious when needed, and flexible for us to trek at our own pace. We very quickly felt he knew us really well and took care of us - we both have some food restrictions and Saroj easily navigated the menus so we could experience the beautiful Nepali cuisine. The hotels and tea houses were comfortable with great food every day. We had such a great time that we already started planning our next trip next year. Thank you Outfitter Himalaya for such a wonderful experience.

Well organised tour - attention to detail was excellent. Tour guide had great knowledge of history of the areas we visited.

Outfitter Himalaya Holidays - it felt to our Annapurna Base Camp trekking group very much like family. Great care and consideration by the owner, guide and porters. It seemed a much tougher trek than the Moderate description, but that would no doubt be relative to climbing the peaks.
We all successfully made it and it was a great way to meet new friends while enjoying amazing scenery the closer we got to Annapurna Base Camp.

This tour was well organised from start to finish. The tour started in Kathmandu with a informative historical tour then progressed to Pokhara with some transport challenges bought on by a flight cancellation due to poor conditions. From Pokhara the tour progressed to trekking where Suraj, the guide, expertly and calmly managed all our requirements. The distances between rest stops, lunch and accommodation venues were really manageable. The tour groups size was small enough to get to know all the parties well which added to the experience. The porters were really helpful and friendly as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and have no hesitation recommending this company.

We had an amazing experience with Outfitter Himalaya. Our 2 week Nepal adventure included Kathmandu, Pokhara (Poon Hill trek over 5 days) and Chitwan. Our guide Amrit and our porters were exceptional. They were kind, mindful of our needs and respectful. Every aspect of the tour was well organised. The Kathmandu city tour was a highlight as was dawn at Poon Hill and Chitwan safari and birdwatching. We had a wonderful group of 7 trekkers who were fun, supportive of each other and adventurous like us. We loved it! We highly recommend Outfitters Himalaya. Nepal is beautiful.

We had a wonderful five day tour of the Kathmandu valley with Outfitter Himalaya. This is the second time we've travelled with this company and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. Arjun is professional and efficient, and also very patient! We originally booked to trek to the Everest View hotel, but realised in the run up to the trek that we weren't fit enough to really make the most of the trek, so Arjun devised a different itinerary for us taking into account our needs.
We trekked from Nagarkot to the Chandranarayan Temple, spent one night in Bhaktapur at the Nanee hotel, then did day tours of Bhaktapur, Patan and a cable car ride. It was all with a wonderful guide, Ramesh and driver Raju. Ramesh was very knowledgeable about the local history and culture, but also knew exactly what level to pitch his spiel. Raju was a great driver, always prompt, safe and very helpful.
I wouldn't hesitate to book with Outfitter Himalaya again, and almost certainly will!

From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu Airport, Outfitter Himalaya Holidays P. Ltd representative Saroj was there to greet us and guided us on our wonderful trek from Pokhara-Nayapul-Ghorepani-Tadapani-Ghandruk- Pokhara. Saroj and his two porters never left us and were very informative about each day’s challenges. Our guide for the Kathmandu city tour informed us of the history of the sites, some UNESCO rated, and answered all our questions. In Chitwan National Park our guides kept us intrigued and on the lookout for elusive animals.

Thank you so much Arjun, Saroj, Cupil and everyone else who helped us enjoy our time in your beautiful country, an unforgettable experience.

We have just returned from the 13-day Nepal and Bhutan tour organized by Arjun and his Outfitter Himalaya Holidays team. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to both countries—each unique and special in its own way—having had them on our bucket list for years.
Arjun and his team deserve the highest praise for making all the arrangements seamless and highly professional. The entire trip was well-organized, with a perfect balance of activities and downtime. The guides and drivers were always courteous and professional, ensuring everything was taken care of smoothly and safely.
The accommodations were very much to our liking. As a suggestion, until the road between Kathmandu and Pokhara (currently a 6-hour drive) is fully completed, we would recommend flying between Kathmandu and Pokhara, as well as between Chitwan and Kathmandu—an option that is offered.
Overall, we experienced the very best of Nepal and Bhutan and have returned home with countless fond and happy memories. There were simply too many highlights to list, as everything was fantastic. We highly recommend this tour and working with Arjun and his team. We will certainly encourage any friends considering a trip to Nepal and Bhutan to do the same.

My second time to ABC but it is so awesome, I'd go every year. Outfitter Himalaya arranged everything perfectly. Great guide and porters, great accommodation and food. The design of the trek is probably as good as it gets for acclimatisation.

Poor experience with this company. We booked our holiday through an Australian company and they subcontracted the trip to this local company Outfitters Himalaya Holidays. All I can say is do not book with this company!

We had terrible accomodation throughout our trip, with our guide in Nepal knowing little to no details about the sites we were seeing. He was googling the sites prior to arriving and couldn't answer any questions we had off the top of his head.

He was very inappropriate towards the young women on the trip asking for hugs etc.
The vehicles they put us in were not registered for tourist use, with our driver being fined by police mid tour and we subsequently found out that our insurance wouldn't cover us if we were in an accident.

Our Bhutan leg was fabulous as our guide was exceptional, knowledgeable and professional. He was a subcontractor for that leg of the tour.

Overall, we had a terrible experience with this company. We found them very unprofessional. They are saving costs at every corner at the cost of the traveller.

The experiences are unforgettable. The scenery and culture of the Nepalese people is eye opening and amazing. Our guide was amazing as a trekking guide. He was very incredible and supportive during tough times of when someone was unwell, and helped to reorganise parts of the trip with ease to suit our needs. At the end when we were stuck due to bad weather, some unprofessional things occurred. However, We still highly recommend Outfitter Himalaya, overall they are fantastic and know what they are doing for us to get the best of our experiences and have a great time.

I had an extraordinary time on my tour of Nepal and Bhutan. I had booked with Outfitter Himalaya through Saga for a group tour of up to 12 people but when I arrived I found I had my own private guides & drivers! My guide in Nepal, Roshan looked after me and I had a very immersive experience of the culture and wonderful sights of Nepal- Swayambhunath temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, Durbar Square, the early morning peace of Sarangkot and the wildlife at Chitwan to name but a few. It was certainly a whirlwind tour, but that is what I enjoy. He encouraged me to take part in Hindu ceremonies which I never would have imagined doing and which added another level of texture into my tour. My driver Shree was very calm and made me feel safe. He did an outstanding job in what was at times challenging circumstances due to road conditions.
In Bhutan my guide Ngawang and driver Ugyen met me at Paro airport in traditional Bhutanese dress and took care of me, telling me to go slowly due to the altitude. Ngawang was very dedicated and eager to tell me about Buddhism and its philosophy & Ugyen was funny and also a safe driver. Bhutan is a peaceful, magical country in contrast to the bustling, vivid, colourful Nepal. Everything beautiful in Bhutan – the Dzongs and temples were astonishing. The view of Himalayas from the plane was breath-taking and I could hear people seated behind me gasping. The highlight was the 9 mile hike to the Tiger’s nest monastery and then a traditional hot stone bath & butter tea. I woke the next morning expecting to be stiff and aching but wasn’t – I would seriously recommend the hot stone bath!
There were some amazing hotels on this tour – in particular Green Resort in Punakha was absolutely fabulous, Bar Peepal in with its view of the lake in Pokhara and Green Park resort in Chitwan. As a lone female traveller I am always a little nervous but I felt completely safe with the guides and drivers on this tour. I would highly recommend this tour from Outfitter Himalaya.

What an amazing experience! Highlights were our Sarangkot ascent where we were rewarded with a spectacular sunrise overlooking the Annapurna range, wow! and who could forget our trip to Citwan, loved our Rhino catchup there and then into Bhutan, and with much determination we trekked to the Tiger's Nest... we will never forget that view.... we thank our guides especially Soba & Raj in Kathmandu, Resham in Chitwan and Dorji and Dawa in Bhutan. Very special thanks to our Drivers, we sure they were the best ever especially getting us to Pokhara and back in one piece. That was amazing given the road conditions. Thanks so much for such a fantastic holiday Arjun!!
