We bought the 8X10 garden shed about five years ago and we are very pleased with it. We coated it with Sikkens Cetol 123. This kept the golden color. The other day while I was in the yard, right before my eyes the window box fell off of the side ofthe shed. Upon inspection I observed that box and the wall behined it rotted. I was both surprised and disappointed. Seems moisture got trapped between the box and the side wall as well as having real soil and flowers in the contributed to the rot. Maybe applying sealant to the edges of the box would have been prudent. Nothing in the instructions about it. Tip for nextime.

Shed it's self is fine easy to build, looks great.
The product was delivered damaged which I can understand as shipping some times causes damage.
But my issues is that none of the hardware was shipped. So like normal i took pictures and responded to the email. Customer service was no help at all. would not answer emails, if they did it was every 2 weeks., Still have not received the damaged pieces nor the hardware to complete this project. and I have had this Shed for 2 months. they are un willing to replace damaged pieces or provide hard ware. Ask them to take the Shed back and I will just go buy a local one. and I haven't heard back since and that was a month ago. Would not recommend

After reading the response from Outdoor Living Today, I would like to provide more details about my experience with the company to give readers a better understanding of what happened.

The shed was originally purchased on Dec 19, 2022 for $3,459. It was delivered in the first week of January 2023. The shed was purchased as one of several upgrades at a worksite. I managed the construction of the shed. It was a multi-stepped project, construction of the shed did not commence until the last week of January 2023 when the site was fully prepared.

We spent 1 ½ days (2 people) leveling the site and building the floor of the shed. The instructions stated the importance of a level floor so we took time to assure the surface and floor was level. On February 17, 2023, 3 people worked to complete the walls and rafters of the shed. However, we were not able to continue when we got to the roof section because the instructions did not fully detail how best to install a large metal roof. The instructions show a floating hand that drills in the screws on the roof. However, no one could not reach from the ladders to safely install these screws along the peak and in the center of the roof.

On Feb 24, 2023, after further research, we worked on installing the roof, doors, windows and final trim. However, during this process it became apparent that we did not have the correct hardware to complete the installation of the doors. I contacted OLT by phone. I spoke with Ute Faber. She informed me that I needed to instead send an email detailing the parts that were missing. I emailed (12:23pm EST on Feb 24th) a list of all the missing parts needed to complete the shed.

On February 27, 2023 I received an email from Ute Faber informing me that the missing parts were going to ship out tomorrow. On March 7, 2023 at 4:34pm, I received another email from Robbin Soper informing me that the parts had shipped out. At which time, I replied at 5:40pm stating that I was surprised it took so long to get the parts shipped out. This was a full 10 days after I had originally made OLT aware of their mistake. At which time, I also informed them that the product they shipped me was full of carpenter ants. No one from OLT responded to my message regarding either matter.

On March 16th, I still had not received the missing hardware for the shed. At which time, I reached out to OLT via email 12:13pm inquiring on the status of delivery. After checking the tracking, Ute Faber replied at 12:25pm stating that the package had been delivered on March 10. I inquired within our partner organization who had signed for the package and I received the package shortly after. However, even without the internal misplacement of the package, the turnaround time for OLT to correct a mistake was 14 days.

On April 6, 2023 I scheduled another workday with 2 people to install the doors and complete the trim on the shed. On this day, I realized that OLT had not sent me all the parts I asked for in writing by email on Feb 24th. They made a second error. I sent an email to OLT at 6:29pm informing them of the second mistake in shipping. I did not receive a reply or an out of office message informing me of a Canadian holiday.

On April 7, 2023 I followed up on the earlier message at 8:13 am and 2:06pm asked that someone please respond. I also called to which I did not receive an outgoing message informing me that the office was closed. After no response to my messages or calls, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and posted on Trust pilot. I replied to the earlier email message at 3:21pm informing OLT of the filed complaints. After that message, I did receive a reply from Jeff Lumley at 9:48pm in which he informed me the facility was shut down for the holiday.

On April 8, Jeff Lumley sent the missing part via FedEx and he emailed the tracking information at 3:20pm. That package was received on April 14.

1.This project took longer than was estimated in the product information to assemble.
2. Several complications added to the difficulty of building the shed including parts that were not labeled, parts that were not included, and inadequate instructions.
3. OLT says that they are diligent in responding however it took 14 days to receive missing parts to correct their mistake. Even with a written list that I provided, they did not include everything I needed when responding to the initial matter. I had to contact them a second time to correct the mistake. From the time that OLT first became aware of the issue to the time I received the final missing part was 49 days.
4. No one from OLT took the time to contact me to fully understand the extent of the challenges I had with their product and service. Instead they wrote a reply to my complaint that included many assumptions and patting themselves on the back for a job well done.

Great product however, pay attention, read the instructions and don't plan on opening the boxes up and assembling this thing in 20 minutes. It requires hours of preparation and the foundation must be sturdy. I strongly reccomend concrete.

Sales and Technical Service were a pleasure to work with, they are professionals that go the extra mile. I was able to create a "Luxury Outhouse". I did my own upgrade for the floor system 2"x6" PT ...I made use of the extra Cedar they provided too. Wonderful experience.

8x8 Raised Vegetable Garden Kit
We found this online, and immediately decided to get one. It had positive reviews from other customers, so we took a chance. Ordering was easy, delivery was quick, assembly instructions were easy to follow, and many videos online if you get stuck or just "want to be sure". We're assembled now, just waiting for topsoil but we're really happy at this point.

We were planning on designing, buying, hauling everything from our local hardware store when my niece told us about your company. I looked at your sheds and fell in love with the 12×4 GardenSaver. Now since I originally wanted a 5×25 shed, I ordered 2 of th 12x4 and decided I would make them work.
We received our sheds in one week. They came from Canada and delivered in our driveway in Las Vegas Nv. From the day we started the project we were done with building, priming and painting both sheds in 2 weeks. We did 90% on our own and had family help with mostly raising the roofs. Each day we only worked on them up to 4 hours. Heat will get to you.
We are very pleased with our sheds and have already told some friends where we got them. Excellent customer service, excellent products, Thank you so much

The cedar shed looks amazing, is very sturdy and arrived faster than expected.
I hired a professional due to a recent hip replacement but could have put it together. He had it finished in 6 hours, it would have taken me a couple days.

The company stayed in contact with me until it was delivered!

It came on two pallets both protected with a canvas covering.

The material seems to be high grade Northern Cedar, and smells wonderful.

I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from this company again, I am highly satisfied.

From the customer service Outdoor Living provided to the quality of the shed, I give it all 100% worth buying!!! Shortly after purchasing the shed from Wayfair, the company (Outdoor Living Today) contacted me. They sent me installation instructions to prepare me for what was to become. Their phone number to a helpline if I needed help with installation or question. The delivery, all the way from Canada down to Texas, went smoothly with consistent notifications. The packaging was thought out and helpful with putting it together. My daughter and I had fun putting it together and with the included detailed instructions, we didn't need the helpline. It took us a couple of days because we were pretty busy that week. I stained it with outdoor cedar stain easily. We love it and are pretty proud of ourselves for putting it together. We had absolutely no interest or time to design, measure and cut the wood so this was the absolutely the best solution. Extremely happy this sompany exists!! It holds so much.

Our family cannot begin to tell everyone how amazing the shed we purchased from Outdoor Living Today is. We purchased it for a craft shed for our daughter and it has not disappointed. It arrived in perfect condition, was fairly easy to build and is exactly what we were looking for and the dimensions that we wanted. This is important since so many other companies could not meet our needs. Not only that, but we have had it for almost a year and it looking as great as it did on day 1. Remarkably, the shipping and delivery process was very smooth and organized and the package arrived with no damage after traveling quite a distance! My assembler said the directions were very comprehensive and had no problems. However, he felt that it should be braced to the ground as it is fairly lightweight, so he stabilized it by inserting rebar into the ground through the shed.

Package came in great condition from the freight company. Instructions were easy to read and follow. Only issue we had was some measurements were a little off causing some confusion. Shed looks great and overall very pleased with the product.

Last year we purchased the 9 by 6 foot cabana. From the day we received the one ton delivery to the day we completed the project we marvelled at the quality of the building. Every piece of the solid Cedar construction fit like a jigsaw puzzle by following the well illustrated and precise instructions. The Cedar was planed on one side on the inside. Every piece needed for construction was included and by the time we finished it seemed a shame to use the building as a garden shed. I myself am using it to store an heirloom dollhouse. The building is well sealed and no creepy crawlies were able to get in over winter.
Everything was put together with included screws. No nails. The only thing that could have been included would be the the inclusion of washer as Cedar is soft and the screws sink.
We added a little porch, put braces on the rafters and filled in under the eaves to stop wasps from nesting there. Also an eavestrough. We finished it with Sikkens Cytol. All in all a guality project which my husband keeps raving about. I highly recommend this project.

Love, Love, Love our "cabin" from OLT!! We ordered an 8'x12' Sunshed Garden Shed to act as an "office" space to replace the office room in our house that my Mother-in-law was to occupy. My wife stained all the wood components prior to assembly, I built the structure, installed R-13 insulation in the walls and roof, ran electricity to it and then she weatherproofed the exterior. It is very quiet inside, very warm on cold days even with NO heater inside (thanks to the Polygal sunroof portion) and works perfectly as our new "office"! We are COMPLETELY and UTTERLY satisfied with our "cabin"!! OLT has been wonderful to work with as well; from answering questions to replacing a defective window! MOST HIGHLY recommended!!

From initial purchase thru delivery and construction we have been thoroughly impressed with the service and product-quality of OLT.
It was helpful to have a second helper for the roof installation and just to hold the wall while it was affixed but for the most part it was a one person job. It is a focal part of our garden and visitors compliment it as soon as they see it.

Fantastic product! Well made, great value, easy instructions.

The delivery took a while, but that was expected since it travelled across the Canadian border, and with COVID delays.

My biggest piece of advice, and what I learned from other reviews like this beforehand, is to make sure you level the ground first. So important.

I went an extra step and lined the ground with chicken wire and crushed stone to keep out chipmunks, etc.

Also used pavers to help level it. Pictures attached.
