I’ve purchased a number of items to fit out my camper van ,Mitch from Outback Equipment has been incredibly helpful. I will certainly deal with this company again

Great customer service -> was looking at a Rovex travel rod but needed to know if each of the 4 sections were <1m for an overseas trip coming up. Jordan responded quickly and took the time to measure each of the sections as even the manufacturer doesn't specify. Added bonus was the great price and low value free shipping. Thanks again.

Mitch was very friendly, and helpful promptly sorting my order collection and then going out of his way to try and find another product that I wanted. Made some good recommendations.

I had a problem when I placed an order via my phone and when I got the receipt it showed a different product to my order so I guess I Stuffed up somehow.
I got stressed as the order was going out almost straight away and I couldn't contact the office till the next day. I contacted the office and spoke to Mitch , a real person thank God and explained the problem he then helped sort out the issue and made sure I was getting what I wanted. I'm now one happy stress free customer and send many thanks to Mitch again for his great work and help. Brian ..30/10/2025

Always great service from the team at Outback Equipment. Been buying gear from them for over 5 years now. Only once had a warranty issue, but that was quickly resolved by Joel.

I ordered three separate items, each with different delivery timeframes. Two were listed as 1–3 days for shipping, and the third had an estimated 5-day shipping. Based on that, I expected all items (if shipped together) to arrive within about 10 working days. However, the first two took 18 working days to arrive, and the third looks like it will take around 28 working days. Considering the items were shown as in stock and shipped from within Australia, I’m not sure what caused the delay. If you need your order within a specific timeframe, I’d recommend purchasing directly from the supplier or another store

Past experiences have been excellent, unfortunately this one was no where near that. I purchased a new oven for my caravan. Outback advised that stock came from an external source so I allowed 25 business days from date of purchase for delivery as I had arrange installation. I put this note on my order requesting confirmation. No response, so I called Outback customer service to be advised that they couldn’t guarantee delivery times so I canceled the install. My complaint is that throughout the process I had to chase Outback repeatedly regarding delivery times and no tracking was provided. Customer service was always helpful especially Mitch. Imagine my disappointment and irritation when I discovered that the stove had been packaged up with another suppliers order. This only added to the confusion as my installer didn’t recognise it as it was included in another large order and was still waiting for mine. To add insult to injury the stove had been delivered in 16 business days. Not happy! If Outback had only provided tracking the entire experience would have been a different story.

Very happy with Outback Equipment's after sales support. I had a minor issue with supply and after making contact with them, a new one was promptly mailed out without any questions. Great company to deal with.

Connor was easy to communicate with, very understandable of situation and resolved issue quickly!

Shout out to Joel from Outback Equipment for organising a replacement caravan cover under warranty from the supplier. From initially raising the issue Joel confirmed a replacement had been dispatched the next day! Outstanding response and service. Thanks

Had issues not receiving all of my items from the delivery service. Talked to an awesome bloke, Mitch which resolved he issue swiftly, sent me an email after the call, I sent back relevant info and then he resolved it on his end. Fast forward to today, I have my complete order.
