Always horrendous delivery times from otterbox. Waiting weeks for any small item in 2026 is out of this world. Considering the competition they have now in the market you’d think they’d make at least some effort. This will be the last time I use an otterbox.

I'm not one for writing reviews or even reading them, in fact I should've read this page before ordering.

I was shipped a Defender Case for an iPhone 17 Pro Max that was so poorly made it didn't fit in multiple areas:
- the clips for the plastic frame did not engage on the left side of the phone
- the rubber outer layer of the case did not form a seal around the camera plateau however it was manipulated
- either the action button or power button was non-functional dependent on how the case was manipulated due to the incorrect size of the case, higher than acceptable manufacturing tolerances or just plain poor build quality.

Obviously, it was time for a return so I contacted OtterBox via their form, waited, waited some more and the was asked to send a number of images. I assumed this was to assess damage. I was happy to comply but refused to re-fit a case that didn't fit for fear of damaging my phone. This is not good enough for OtterBox who insisted they needed photographic evidence of each fault to "help" me. I refused. They would not process a return and refund without these images. They then attempted to compel me to send this product back as a "change of mind" return, across international borders, at my own expense.

This is a breach of their legal obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- the retailer must bear the cost of returns for faulty goods
- they cannot impose conditions that make it difficult for you to claim your legal rights

Also, attempting to misclassify a legitimate fault as "change of mind" to shift shipping costs onto a consumer is potentially an unfair commercial practice under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.

otterbox.co.uk is an Irish entity shipping from the Netherlands but they need to remember that British law must be respected when shipping to the UK.

Avoid.
Absolutely horrendous customer service.
Upon selecting PayPal, I instantly noticed an address issue and immediately attempted to cancel (no option to do so). I therefore raised immediately with OtterBox, they failed to help and blamed automation.
I have worked in customer service for 25 years and this defies belief.

Horrendous company. I will never get my product or money back.

Follow up of my moan about Otterbox . Finally refunded me . I was on the point of issuing formal notice of going for claim under Consumer Protection Act . Hopefully for others its a collapse of their Customer Service and they are getting themselves sorted .

Nadat het meerdere keren mis ging met mijn zending, en het pakketje al terug gestuurd werd voordat het mijn woning had bereikt. Kwam het pakket eindelijk aan op een alternatief adres. Omdat ik het verkeerde hoesje had gekozen(de promax in plaats een case voor de normale 15 pro). Had ik gevraagd of ze dit snel konden aanpassen, zodat we een retour konden verkomen. Na meerdere vragen werd hier geen gehoor aangegeven. Nu ik met eigen geld het product retour heb gestuurd, zenden ze het nu weer terug zonder enig argument.
De klantenservice krijgt van mij een 1, want dit heeft niks met service te maken maar enkel met oplichting. Blijf ver uit de buurt van deze website !

What a joke of a company. Zero, customer service, zero integrity and as I’m still waiting for my phone case to be dispatched, I’m certain the case will have zero quality.
AVOID ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY

OtterBox iPad Pro case.

The glue holding the rubber edges to the plastic base failed after 16 months.

I applied for a replacement under the 7 year warranty. Jumped through the hoops of photos, etc and was told that the claim was accepted and a replacement was on order for me. Days later I was told that the case was out of stock and so my claim was being reclassified as ‘wear and tear’ and I would get no help.

So the warranty is absolutely useless.

I ordered a replacement OtterBox Symmetry iPhone 15 Pro case on the 28/10/2025 as my previous iteration distorted when abroad like usual!!!
I’ve still not received by order which was with £29.
Their customer service representatives, Rosie keeps obfuscating and not actually resolving the issue of the missing item with their delivery agent - Evri.
Evri have clearly lost the item or misplaced it and equally their customer service is non existent other than an AI bot which takes you around in a circle of do you want a call back? There is a case open…you will be updated in 24hrs. 5 days later still no call back or update. This is their web chat and their phone line. It’s all bot!!!
OtterBox could not give a toss.
So I’ve now contested the payment transaction with my bank. Failing that I will have to pursue a money claim online.

you are ridiculous ! you failed to sent me a product in time, you never answer to your customer service bot or emails. you managed in the end to send the product after 2-3 weeks and I have told you i want to return as I have received my money back from paypal since you are scammers and never reply to any of the messages ! you replied once 10 days asking me to ARRANGE MY OWN RETURN AND PAY FOR IT IF I WANT MY MONEY BACK. really ? I am trying to be honest and give you your plastic case back ( by the way there is no dif between a 10 gbp case from amazon and yours ) and you do not want to. you are a joke of a company and i hope everyone reads this and avoids you as much as possible. !

I order a shatter resistant screen protector and the Defender Pro cover in Sep 25 ready for the receipt of my pre ordered iPhone 17 Pro Max. Got the new phone, I find that the applicator for the screen protector does not fit the new phone and the cover is really poor quality. Contacted customer services and must pay for registered post to return these shoddy goods. They seem to have lost the plot at Otterbox and living off past glory. Avoid like the plague, there are cheaper, better quality options.

Scam. Phone case didnt actually fit my phone so returned at my expense. Have been refunded for £20 when case was nearer £50. Of course there is no one to get back to emails as everyone else is saying. Just a absolute crap company and would avoid, avoid, avoid. No phone number or a actual person to deal with. Wish I had never bothered wasting my time or money.

The defender case is poor quality - it's falling apart after a couple of years, and I took it off to find the back of my iPhone smashed. I tried contacting them through their website form, but they don't respond. There's no telephone number

Absolute rubbish, had the defender case on my S21 Ultra since I bought it, removed the case to discover cracks on the back of the screen and that's why now sound's not working properly rendering the phone useless. I thought this case would protect my phone from falls, and it's never had any falls other than from a short distance from the ground, but somehow it's still cracked in multiple places. What a waste of money this useless case was, did not protect my phone at all and otterbox does not refund my money for their case or my phone when their useless case fails to do the one job it was supposed to do: protect my phone from breaking after a fall. I also noticed the rubber backing had stretched so it was full of dust and debris further scratching up my phone. Given the case always made buttons hard to use and I only persevered with that annoyance and inconvenience because I thought this case was protecting my phone, I feel totally ripped off by otterbox and will never buy another and warn others away from them!

I ordered a case for my 16 Plus and added the screen protector that was suggested below the 16 Plus case, assuming it would fit the 16 Plus and not the 16! I failed to notice it was for the 16 but I just expected it to fit my order.
Well it it didn’t and I emailed about this suggesting their website should be improved for this to not happen again. Obviously, no response at all! What an awful customer service!

Very happy with my purchase and customer service. I made a claim through warranty and was sent out within 2 days. I waited over 1 week for delivery but I emailed otterbox to see what was going on as it still said awaiting pickup. They replied the next day and explained that orders were sent from the warehouse in Netherlands. The next day it was picked up by Evri and delivered today! Customer service is excellent. Would not buy from anywhere else. Cases are great and warranty replacement is second to none! Superb!!

Really disappointed with OtterBox. Made my first purchase of OtterBox Frē for iPhone 16 Pro Max. The cost was £70. I have never spent so much on a phone case but I thought it would be worth it as the product seemed very robust and would last a long time. After only two months of light usage, the rear of the case which covers the camera lenses is marked so badly that I can no longer focus to take a picture and any I do take are blurry. Regret my purchase and would rightfully feel entitled to a replacement or refund!

Like everyone says , no customer service at all , can't phone anyone as they don't give out their number , ordered over 3 weeks ago never delivered and still waiting. Messaged them twice and still nothing , DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !!!!!!

I ordered a case for my new iPad, I have used them in the past, buying from Amazon UK. I have always been very happy with the cases, however, this time I have no idea what the case is like because I have still not received it! Unfortunately they chose to use EVRI for delivery and they will not answer emails regarding delivery only giving the EVRI tracking number. I now wish that I had ordered from Amazon, at least they deliver on time 99% of the time.

I have now had 2 of the Fre cases (the second being a replaced the first). DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. With just a month the covering of the camera scratches, making photos blurry. I have been very careful with the second case, thinking maybe it was something I had done with the first. But even taking care the camera covers scratch horrendously. Customer care were rubbish and only because I knew my Consumer Rights was I able to replace with another that doesn’t have camera cover on. But I lost money. They would only give me 50% refund if I didn’t take the replacement despite it only being a month old. Will not be buying otterbox again

£80 for a terrible product that is not fit for purpose. Integral screensaver degrades to the point where you can’t type anything. Camera cover does the same and photos are blurred. Tried to contact customer service and they ghosted me. Rubbish product that is overpriced.
