Le service client Oracle : une insulte à l'intelligence de ses utilisateurs.

Expérience lunaire avec le support Cloud d'Oracle. Pour échanger seulement 4 messages, j'ai dû patienter plus de 40 minutes en raison d'un délai systématique de 10 minutes entre chaque réponse de leur part.

Le plus scandaleux ? Après avoir gaspillé presque une heure de mon temps, le conseiller a tout simplement quitté la discussion sans apporter la moindre réponse ni explication. C’est une honte pour une entreprise qui se prétend leader du marché.

Pendant que des concurrents comme AWS ou les géants chinois comme Alibaba Cloud optimisent chaque seconde de l'expérience client, Oracle semble bloqué dans une ère de bureaucratie et de mépris. Aucune aide, aucune compétence, aucun respect. Si vous tenez à votre productivité, fuyez ce service client fantôme.

Grauenhafter Support

Im Rahmen des Launches unseres Projekts haben wir uns für die Oracle Cloud entschieden.
Nach der extrem umständlichen Registrierung wurde allerdings ohne Angabe eines Grundes die Freischaltung des Accounts zurückgehalten.

Daraufhin haben wir uns an den Support gewandt, mit der Hoffnung auf Hilfe.
Der Support hat zwar zeitnah geantwortet, ist jedoch kein einziges Mal auf unsere E-Mail eingegangen, dass wir eine Freischaltung benötigen und mehr nicht.

Mir ist schleierhaft, wie man es 6 Mal (!) nicht schafft, auf diese Problematik einzugehen. Stattdessen wird uns jedes Mal versucht, ein Gespräch mit dem Vertriebsteam anzudrehen, um unsere Anforderungen zu klären. Wir hatten bereits einmal mit dem Vertrieb telefoniert und unsere Anforderungen geklärt, dieser hat die Problematik der Freischaltung angeblich weitergeleitet (hat er offensichtlich nicht). Dieses Ping-Pong Spiel zieht sich bereits seit 5 Wochen.

Fazit: Ein schrecklicher Kundensupport der nicht in der Lage ist, auf die simpelsten Sachen einzugehen. Jede KI hätte dieses simple Problem der Freischaltung verstanden, aber echte Menschen (hoffentlich?) sind komplett fehl am Platz und schaffen es nicht, E-Mails zu lesen.

Terrible Signup...never happened. They ran my card

They don't seem to want money...everytime I try to sign up for their Cloud:

Attempted to sign up for Oracle Cloud…

Attempted to sign up for Oracle Cloud Free Trial, but the process failed after successful card verification with a vague “error processing transaction” message. Contacted support and received a generic response stating they cannot resolve the issue, with no explanation or further assistance. The problem remains unresolved, and I am still unable to access the service. Very disappointing experience.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Oracle. I waited over 20 days for my order, and when it finally arrived, they sent the wrong item. I returned it right away, and now it has been another 10 days with no refund and no exchange item sent.

On top of that, the customer service was terrible. Nathan was rude and arrogant, and instead of helping resolve the issue, he argued with me as if I were trying to steal a $50 item. That kind of treatment toward a customer is completely unacceptable.

After this experience, I would not recommend this company at all.

I have never seen a worse customer…

I have never seen a worse customer service.
My questions were not answered, my account is blocked. This results in my not being in accessing my resources.
They "decided not to answer my inquiry"
Do not sign up and use their services if you don't want your stuff gone.

Oricle Hearing Aids

I bought a pair of Oricle hearing aids and after 6 weeks one ceased to charge on the charger. I contacted them and to cut a long story short, they told me they could/would not help as it was outside their 30 day return period.
Their customer service is non existant.

BANNED ACCOUNT

My account were banned but I do not know why. I sent five or more e mail to get support and I texted live chat for 15 times. They said "we cannot access your account, we will transfer you to cloud crew" however the team have never wrote back to me. The worst customer service I have ever seen! They are really ignoring you when they realised you are not a huge company.

Rien ne va

Rien ne va. Oracle produit des logiciels qui semblent programmés par des gens qui ne savent pas se servir d'un ordinateur. Les raccourcis clavier usuels ne fonctionnent pas. Les listes déroulantes ne fonctionnent pas. Les recherches ne sont pas faites dans les champs demandés. Cliquer sur "Annuler" sauvegarde les changements au lieu de les annuler etc.

JE VEUX CHANGER DE JOB juste pour ne plus avoir à subir Oracle car je n'ai pas le choix des outils que me fournit mon employeur.

Oracle a des progrès à faire pour pouvoir prétendre au niveau de débutant en matière de gestion de bases de données. Le SAV est inexistant ou sous-traité à l'autre bout du monde dans une langue étrangère.
Un ERP ne devrait pas contraindre les utilisateurs à exporter les données dans Excel pour pouvoir les utiliser.

Le logiciel vieux de 40 ans que nous utilisions auparavant était plus performant.

Le produit ne correspond pas au besoin, et en plus il ne fonctionne pas comme il devrait. La valeur de l'ERP est négative. Cela signifie que pour utiliser un ERP Oracle il faudrait qu'Oracle paie les utilisateurs pour que cela en vaille la peine.

For long-time Oracle users, the new support site feels like a breaking point because it highlights a growing disconnect between enterprise operators and Oracle’s product direction. The people who actually run these systems—debugging OPSS schemas at 2 a.m., chasing down OWSM dependencies, navigating patch matrices, and opening SRs under outage pressure—were clearly not centered in the design process. Instead, the experience feels optimized for internal metrics, marketing narratives, or theoretical workflows rather than real-world operational urgency.

What makes it more baffling is that Oracle’s core value proposition has always been stability, predictability, and enterprise trust. A support portal should reduce cognitive load, not add to it. When basic tasks—finding SR history, navigating product lifecycles, identifying patch applicability, or correlating MOS notes—become harder instead of easier, it erodes confidence fast. For admins and architects, that friction isn’t cosmetic; it directly impacts uptime, security posture, and compliance.

And you’re right about the broader shift already happening. Organizations aren’t just talking about replacing Oracle anymore—they’re actively doing it. We’re seeing:

Oracle workloads being frozen in place while new initiatives move to PostgreSQL, MySQL, or cloud-native managed databases.

Fusion Middleware stacks being containerized, front-ended, or slowly strangled by lighter platforms.

Analytics and BI workloads moving away from OBIEE/OAS toward more flexible ecosystems.

Teams deliberately designing architectures where Oracle becomes a legacy dependency, not a strategic pillar.

What’s telling is that many of these migrations aren’t driven by cost alone—they’re driven by operability fatigue. When vendors make it harder to support their own products, experienced engineers stop advocating for them. And once that advocacy is gone, replacement becomes inevitable.
