We had an amazing holiday at Villa Daphne by Optima Villas and would highly recommend both the villa and the company.

Booking & Customer Service
From start to finish, the whole process was easy. Booking and payment were straightforward, communication was quick, and every query we had was answered promptly.
During our stay, we had a blockage in the kitchen sink. We contacted the maintenance team, who came out the very same day and fixed the problem. Thanks to the secure key box outside the villa, we didn't even need to stay in while they carried out the repair.

Welcome Pack
As we arrived late in the evening, the welcome pack was a lovely surprise and much appreciated. It was far more generous than any we've received at other villas in Lanzarote, and included:
- Toilet rolls
- Bottled water
- Tea, coffee and sugar
- Milk
- Bread
- Cereal
- Biscuits
- Ham and cheese
- A bottle of wine
It made settling in after a late flight so much easier.

The Villa
One tip for future guests: follow the directions provided by Optima Villas! We completely forgot we had them (on a link in an email) and spent quite a while wandering around the La Geleta complex trying to find the villa.
Once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the villa was—it felt much larger than it appeared in the photos. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and felt very modern throughout.
The electric entrance gate and covered car port were fantastic features. Cars can become incredibly hot in the Lanzarote sun, so it was great getting into a cool car every time we went out. Being located within the secure La Geleta complex, with both pedestrian and vehicle gates, also gave us peace of mind.
The utility room was well equipped with a washing machine, clothes airer and pegs, which was especially useful during our two-week stay.
The private pool was warm and inviting, and pool towels were provided, which saved valuable suitcase space and weight. The pool was also cleaned twice a week. Although we didn't use the communal pool, it looked large and well maintained.
We also made good use of the large BBQ and enjoyed relaxing in the spacious garden.

The Area
We would definitely recommend hiring a car. We booked ours in advance from the airport for approximately £170 for two weeks (4 people and 3 cases), which we thought was excellent value.
Journey times from the villa were approximately:
- 45 minutes from the airport
- 2 minutes to local shops, bars and restaurants
- 10 minutes to Playa Blanca's main beach
- 20 minutes to Marina Rubicón
For a special meal, we highly recommend La Casa Roja at Marina Rubicón. The food was excellent and the views overlooking the yachts made for a lovely evening.

A Few Suggestions
The villa was very well equipped, but a few small additions would make it even better:
- A garlic crusher
- Margarine or butter to accompany the bread in the welcome pack
- A couple of washing machine balls
- A small starter supply of charcoal for the BBQ
- UK-to-European plug adapters
As we stayed for two weeks, the towels & bed linen were changed and both bathrooms were cleaned once during our stay. While this was appreciated, we felt a more thorough mid-stay clean of areas such as the kitchen and floors would have been beneficial. That said, we understand this could increase the overall cost of the villa.

Overall
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Daphne and were genuinely sad to leave. The villa exceeded our expectations, and the excellent customer service from Optima Villas made the whole experience even better.

We stayed as a family in apartment Costa mar playa blanca for 9 days, the accommodation was spacious and the sea view was absolutely stunning, and the welcome pack was very much appreciated. The apartment was clean with plenty of kitchen utensils, towels and we had a change of towels, bed linen mid stay .The location was perfectly situated near to shops, restaurants and bars, and also close to bus stops and bus station,but not at all noisy. Optima villas were professional and so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the information pack was very useful especially as it can be downloaded to your phone before your stay. Thank you optima villas for making our stay comfortable, hassle free and relaxing

Villa Ciocco. Why do we keep using Optima? Their service and professional is second to none. We have booked with them three times this year alone snd several times in the past and recommend them highly. They are definitely the best in Lanzarote. Our 3rd visit to Villa Ciocco and very much the same as previous visits. Definitely needs some TLC but the sea view more than makes up for everything that needs smartening up. We did purchase 4 mugs this year as not enough there for 4 people. Also 2 new sunbed mattresses as the ones there are pretty grim! Have left everything there hopefully for next visitors. Otherwise absolutely fabulous and we will definitely return. The bits that were wrong was no reflection on Optima in anyway. Thank you to everyone at Optima again for their excellent service 😊

We loved our tom in Villa Miramere, very spacious and great outdoor space. It had a fabulous American style fridge so plenty of space for all the provisions. We arrived on my husband's 60th birthday, so used the services of the Lanzarote Concierge as recommended by Optima. I cannot recommend Matt more highly . He arranged Spanish craft beers and lovely Cava and a handmade birthday cake to be in the villa when we arrived. He also arranged a private chef to come along one evening, this was amazing. We had a couple of small issues while at the villa, but the amazing staff at Optima quickly sorted . We're already looking at booking again for next year. This is our second holiday with Optima, can't recommend highly enough.

Absolutely brilliant villa had everything very well equipped big thumbs up to the owners and of course optima villas we have used this company several times outstanding never had many issues through the years but when we have it has been sorted straight away very professional and once again a fantastic holiday thank you

Just arrived home from staying in Villa Palmyra, Optima villas are a great company to deal with, a big thanks to the cleaners as the villa was spotless and the food package they leave is a great starter, looking forward to returning in September.

This was our first time using Optima villas after a recommendation, and they did not disappoint. We stayed at Casa Reina and the comms ahead of our stay were very good. The villa itself was clean, well equipped and perfectly located. The late check out was very much appreciated also and made a big difference to our stay. We will definitely be using Optima villas again, this was our best experience after visiting Playa Blanca on several occasions. We wholeheartedly recommend Optima, thank you for everything 😊

We have used optima villas many times when visiting Lanzarote and have always found everyone very professional and pleasant to deal with. Villa was comfortable and well equipped. An hour’s walk along the seafront from the villa to playa Blanca but a beautiful walk. If you aren’t so energetic maybe a car would be useful but the number 30 bus runs every half hour from the faro park shops a 5 minute walk from the villa. Good range of restaurants there too, two supermarkets and a money exchange shop selling beers wines spirits and fancy goods. Wouldn’t hesitate to use optima again

The layout of the villa was really good, especially the internal courtyard as it gave shelter from the wind. The pool and garden were really nice and very private. The Villa was well equipped. It is quite far from the centre of Playa Blanca so a car is useful. However the furnishings are very tired and definitely need updating.
We have used Optima Villas for a few years now and have always found them to be very good.

We had a wonderful 10 day stay at Vista Montana. As always with Optima Villas the villa was immaculately clean inside and around the pool area. The pool was cleaned twice during our stay and we had a mid stay clean after 7 days providing us with clean towels and a change of bed linen which was lovely.
The pool area has many places to sit in the sun and shade and the furniture is very comfortable. Unfortunately the poolside shower was not working which we did report to Optima but was not rectified during our stay.
Inside the villa is very well furnished and bright and the kitchen provides everything you need and is very well equipped.
This is the 4th Optima Villa we have stayed in and it is the first that has not provided a fan. There is payable air conditioning but there are times when a fan is sufficient in a room and the air conditioning is not required. Optima did advise us during our stay of a rental company who provide fans.
Overall this villa is excellent, there are a couple of side gardens outside the dining room and bathroom which are a bit untidy and overgrown and which need attention but this would not stop us from staying here again.
We are really looking forward to returning later this year.

The team at Optima Villas is super efficient and friendly

Fantastic stay at Casa Salada, everything there that we would need. Lovely welcome hamper, beautiful villa with stunning views. Only downside for me personally being on the shorter side, I found the key lock box too high up and very fiddly due to the height.

Just back from a stay in Casa Elisabetta. Been using Optima villas for over 10 years and this is the first time I've not been overly impressed with Optimas response whilst on holiday and the accommodation.

Pros:
*Secure entry complex which was quiet and next to a little mini supermarket at the base on Montana Roja.
*Plenty utensils in the villa
*Usual welcome pack from optima which is appreciated.
*TV channels excellent.
*WiFi throughout
*Good for smaller family holiday

Cons
*Beds uncomfortable.
*Tired and dated decor inside with marks on the walls.
*Showers needing updated
*Layout was a little strange with some sliding doors not feeling 100% secure at the back.
*Washing machine broken on arrival. Reported on day 2 of holiday as needed to wash child's clothes. Optima took 3 days to rectify this after saying it was delayed until the day before we were leaving to go home. Explained how disappointed I was of this and they eventually said one would be replaced in 2 hours time. They fixed the issue but taking 3 days with a slower email communication update on the situation wasn't their usual service we had in the past from them. Not sure why this was this time but nonetheless they sorted it thankfully.

*Sofas in the living areas were stained and very very uncomfortable.

*Table in hallway screwed to the wall a hazard for banging toes on, getting in and out of the front door.

*Pool had green round the sides until the last day when two Pool cleaners came in and cleaned it properly. Sadly this wasn't done for us arriving for our weeks holiday.

*30-40 min walk to the main playa blanca harbour. Walking didn't bother us too much. Just a little further than previous stays.

We recently had a great stay at Villa Keira end of March 2026. The company were really responsive when I had questions and were really accommodating to our needs with early check in and late check out. Villa was great with a fabulous pool. Lovely and warm despite the cooler conditions in March and the challenging recent weather.
Only had one disruptive nights sleep with the wind but that’s no reflection on the villa.
Lovely hot tub area and very private.
Would highly recommend the villa and this company. Will stay again

Just stayed 7 nights at Casa George in Faro Park area of Plsya Blanca. Fantastic vill. It was absolutely spotless and comfortable and well equipped. Again fantastic service from Optima Villas. This the best villa letting company i have ever used. Really quick response to any issues you may have and are genuinely caring. Have booked yet again with them for June.

This is our Second Holiday with Optima Villas. They just do everything to a high standard from Quality of Villas, advice, communication, right through to the well thought out Welcome Pack. Really enjoyed our holiday🙂

We stayed in Villa Ciocco. As other reviews have said, the Villa is a little rough around the edges, nothing major but it would make it a 5 star experience if a few things were updated and replaced. The dishwasher wasn’t working well and my husband had to clean it all out. The pool and outside areas are lovely, the heated pool was perfect and the kids spent hours swimming. It’s in a lovely spot with stunning views of the sea. In easy reach of most things with a car. You could hear the entertainment from a nearby hotel most evenings, but it wasn’t loud and finished by 10pm. All in all we had a great holiday and would go back to the Villa for the outside space and easy proximity to Playa Blanca and the surrounding areas.

Just back after a wonderful stay in Casa Azul in Playa Blanca. Our first time trying the villa life and it did not disappoint!!! The house was lovely and exceeded our expectations. The kids loved the heated pool and we spent our days lounging around the pool and enjoying the beautiful sunshine. The villa is in a quiet area about a 20 minute walk to the seafront - great to get the steps in each day! Plenty of towels including beach towels, a very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, powerful showers, washing machine, dishwasher, iron etc as well as board games, cards and books too! Really appreciated the very thoughtful welcome pack too as we arrived late in the evening. Would highly recommend Optima Villas based on our stay.

We had a wonderful time staying in Puerto Mar apartment, serviced by Optima Villas. The apartment was in a central location in Playa Blanca, near to shops, bars and supermarkets. It was very comfortable and clean with an outstanding view of the sea. We will definitely return!

We were given this villa as our booked one was flooded, it was cheaper but you get what you pay for. Villa was very miminal, beds were very comfortable, linen and towels very good, plenty of china etc. Welcome pack appreciated but would have liked some salt and pepper. Bbq was unusable due to heavy rust as was shower head in ensuite bathroom. No greenery outside and very sterile. Swimming pool cover straps broken. Very quiet area as mostly residential. We would not return to this villa but will always use Optima for further bookings as we have done before, great communication.
