Excellent service and great quality grass. Really appreciated getting the advice before and after laying the turf regarding preparation, watering and the first cut! Good to know when things should be done from those with the knowledge!

Don't use this company under any circumstances,they delivered a pallet of turf that is clearly damaged from pallet burn, was hot weather and a such needed installation on the same day, unfortunately that delivered late so could not be done, and considering the hot weather they should have put it on 2 separate pallets. So they delivered a substandard product clearly expired and refused to replace 9 rolls out of 50!!? Stay away.
Please don't be fooled about the offer they made In the reply, they forgot to mention that there is a charge of £73 for the redelivery so make their offer meaningless.

From ordering through to delivery, the whole experience was excellent. The turf arrived on time, was fresh, in great condition, and clearly well cared for during transport.

The online laying instructions were clear, easy to follow, and made the installation process straightforward. They provided all the guidance needed, from preparing the ground to watering and aftercare, which gave me confidence that I was laying it correctly.

After following the recommended care, the turf established quickly and has grown into a healthy, lush, vibrant green lawn. It has rooted well, looks fantastic, and has completely transformed the garden. The quality of the grass has exceeded my expectations, and it's obvious that this is a premium product.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with both the product and the service. Excellent quality turf, fast delivery, helpful online guidance, and outstanding results. I would highly recommend this company to anyone

Hello ,purchased on Monday, grass came in worst quality, when complain said laid down it will be ok but half of them were burnt, such a poor quality, don't buy bulk package, they are not helpful ,such a rubbish quality

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with North West Turf Ltd.
I ordered 65m² of Rye Gold Turf (Invoice No. 70C8F2B) and paid £374, as well as additional labour costs for professional gardeners to lay it on the same day it was delivered.
When the delivery arrived, the turf on the top of the pallets appeared to be fresh, so we accepted the delivery. However, once the gardeners started laying the turf, we found that much of the turf underneath was in poor condition. It was dry, discoloured, damaged, and appeared to be a different type of grass from the rest of the order. The attached photos clearly show the noticeable difference.
The turf was laid immediately after delivery, so the condition cannot be blamed on delays in installation or storage.
I contacted the company to explain the issue, but I was very disappointed with their response. Instead of accepting responsibility or offering a satisfactory solution, they dismissed my concerns. As a customer, I expected better quality control and much better customer service.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I hope they improve their quality control and how they deal with customer complaints in the future.

Can't recommend Online Turf enough... as a complete novice to gardening I found their website and info very easy to navigate and understand. The order and delivery was seemless and delivery driver was great as well. I probably chose wrong time of year to lay turf as it was right before the heatwave, but the turf is doing amazingly well, great quality. I really appreciate the after sales contact as well advising when to mow and some tips. I would definitely recommend Online Turf to anyone 😊

Unfortunately, my experience with the delivery service was very poor.

The driver claimed he couldn't get his van/lorry down my road, despite me having received several garden deliveries in similar or even larger vehicles the previous week without any problems. Instead, he parked awkwardly at the end of the road and wheeled the pallet up the street by hand. He then refused to leave it anywhere other than on the road, even when my neighbour kindly offered the use of her dropped kerb so he could safely bring it onto the pavement.

The delivery tracking was also extremely frustrating. At 7:00am, my estimated delivery window was 9:15–11:15am. By 11:00am, it had been pushed back by two hours, and every time I checked throughout the day, the estimated time had moved again. Although the official delivery window was 8:00am–6:00pm, the constantly changing estimates made it impossible to plan my day. The delivery eventually arrived after 4:00pm.

Based solely on the delivery experience, I wouldn't choose to use this company again.

Defo recommend, delivered on time as promised and the grass itself is beautiful, lush colour and taken well :) couldnt be happier .

Ordering was simple , delivery driver was polite and helpful .. Grass ( stadium) was great quality.. it’s been down nearly 2 weeks and is growing exceptionally well even in this extreme heat ( watered twice a day ) . Online turf even emailed how it was and would email again when they thought it could have its first cut ( hope it’s soon as I’m in danger of losing the dog !) … all in all , good quality and would use again

Excellent communication throughout, speedy and efficient delivery.
The turf arrived packaged well and in excellent condition. Delivery was at 08.00 hrs so we lay the turf the same day.
With watering after two days it was visibly growing and a week on it is thriving- excellent price and product

Dangerous product and zero accountability for safety hazards.

​I ordered 108 square meters of turf from this company. Upon delivery, I discovered over 10 sharp pieces of broken glass embedded within the grass - not the soil/root system. As a father to two young boys and a dog, this is an immediate and severe safety hazard.

​When I raised this with customer service, I was met with complete dismissal. I was told that glass in turf is an "industry reality" due to "the nature of farmland," and they even claimed that sharp glass would "settle harmlessly into the soil" and didn't pose a safety concern.

Anyone with a garden knows that soil shifts and frost brings debris back to the surface.

​I will have to spend hours on my hands and knees sifting through 108sqm of turf to make my garden safe for my children.

The company refused to offer a reasonable refund or take accountability for delivering a contaminated, dangerous product, offering an insulting £50 "goodwill gesture" before telling me they "cannot assist further."

On top of this only one of the two pallets arrived on the day it was scheduled.

If I could upload a photo I would. I have put them on my Google review.

​If you have children or pets, avoid this company. They do not care about safety and will not support you if your product arrives defective or dangerous.

Could not fault anything about the service, Delivery was made on time when they said, driver was brilliant unloaded were l wanted it. Online turf is top Quality product my lawn looks great even though the weather is 28 degrees, would definitely use again 100%.

Absolutely horrendous service the third party delivery company palletforce complete lack of communication and when my partner spoke to online turf they couldnt care less because it had already been passed over to delivery company so was not their problem ,delivery was cancelled last week without our knowledge even after recieving a confirmation of the day and time of delivery it was only because we checked for updates we found out when my partner called to complain they were more interested in cancelling the entire order than helping to rearrange! rearranged for today 23/06/26 and was given a time slot of 8am-12pm so my partner took half day off work and surprise surprise it has been moved 2pm-4pm again the employee on the phone was not interested and seem to be confused as to why my partner wanted to make a complaint! currently expecting to recieve another email saying delivery is cancelled and am concerned that if we choose to go elsewhere we will not recieve a refund as they have already failed to reinburse the £10 felivery fee for inconvienience as promised completely unprofessional

I ordered from this company a few months ago and had a terrible time with delivery. In fairness it was a third party delivery company that was more the issue although the phone service from online turf was poor. It eventually got sorted after receiving half the delivery and then waiting for the rest. So I appreciated Online Turfs eventual help (it seems hit and miss who you get on the phone).

Even still the turf was good so I wanted to order again. My road has a unsuitable for hgvs sign at one end but there is another area of access which the delivery company used in the end so that wasn't an issue.

I called today to preempt the delivery situation so that online turf could make make a quick easy call to the delivery company to ask that it go on the same vehicle that it did last time which would be more than suitable for the order that I want. (What are the problems last time was the last minute change of delivery as no one had picked up on it previously)

Online turf pretty much didn't want to listen to anything I had to say, gave no interest in trying to help the situation. I would have thought a company would try and make a sale and help a returning customer but they had absolutely no interest.

It's a shame as I want to order from them again and the delivery company they used was more than capable of delivering my order and this time would have given them two weeks notice to make the arrangements. But they are making it impossible once again it really does depend on who you get on the phone I think

Bought the turf 50m² when it was on offer, next day delivery came at 0730 Saturday morning couldn't fault the delivery driver either everything was perfect will definitely be ordering again from them if I need more

Quality of the turf is fantastic. Lush & green and looking amazing. Love the email updates about when I should be mowing - very impressed with after care. Whole service has been outstanding from the start. We were so impressed, that we’ve started another project in another part of the garden and ordered more turf from Online Turf!! Highly recommend 100%

I purchased Rye Gold® turf from Online Turf at a premium price, expecting a weed-free, high-quality product as advertised. Unfortunately, the turf arrived heavily contaminated with Poa annua — a weed grass — which directly contradicts the product’s marketing claims. On top of this, the turf pieces varied significantly in thickness, making it impossible to achieve an even finish regardless of how meticulously the ground had been prepared beforehand. For the price point, the quality is simply not acceptable and does not match what is being promised to customers.
Probably whoever gives 3 stars and up, do not understand what they’re getting.
