Not often that items are delivered so quickly and the grass texture, colour and freshness was amazing.

Delivered on time and unsupervised and followed instructions where and how to leave the turf on the drive to the letter. Turf looked great and after two weeks and some rain looks fantastic. I would definitely order from these guys again. Great quality of service and product.

Turf had dog/cat feases and rocks - Everything else ok

Delivery went well, driver was friendly and dropped the 2 pallets well.

I ordered compost bags, most of which were ripped which made carrying them to my garden a big pain.

More concerningly though was the 2 rolls that I picked up that got me covered in dog/cat feases which was absolutely digusting.

I get it happens but not a nice experience, and would have appreciated better quality control before loading.

Overall turf was healthy and of good quality upon laying, so can't be too upset!

Ordered Tuesday delivered Thursday as promised and very good quality turf i ordered the 50m2 of rye gold every roll was as good as the first ,layed it that afternoon it looks brilliant excellent service quality and price can't fault them

Very disappointing experience, especially as a returning customer.

The turf was delivered a day later than it should have been, with no communication whatsoever to let me know there was a delay. It was only when I called to find out where my order was that I was told the delivery company was “mucking about”.

Unfortunately, the delivery delay was only the start of the problem. The quality of the turf was extremely disappointing. It was already breaking up and falling apart on the crate, and as soon as I tried to pick the rolls up they simply fell apart even more.

I had little choice but to lay it as it was, meaning I had to piece sections together like a jigsaw. This created considerably more work than should ever be necessary when laying newly delivered turf, and I now have genuine concerns about whether all of it will actually survive.

What disappointed me most was the response from customer services. I sent them photographs clearly showing the turf on the crate and the condition it had arrived in, with sections visibly falling apart. They could see exactly what I was complaining about, yet they simply didn't seem to care. I was basically told that the turf was fine and that it would grow.

That completely misses the point. Even if some of it does eventually establish, newly purchased turf shouldn't be falling apart before you can even get it off the crate. Nor should a customer have to spend considerably longer laying it because they are having to piece damaged sections together.

I wasn't expecting anything unreasonable. An acknowledgement that the quality wasn't what it should have been and a reasonable goodwill gesture would have gone a long way, particularly as I am a returning customer. My previous order from them was absolutely fine, which makes the condition of this batch even more disappointing.

Having since looked through some of the other reviews, I find it difficult to reconcile many of the extremely positive experiences with the quality of the turf and level of customer service I received when something actually went wrong.

My previous batch was good and I had no issues. This batch, however, is something I would have been embarrassed to send out to a customer.

Based on my experience, the real test of a company is how it deals with a customer when something goes wrong. Despite being provided with photographic evidence of the condition of the turf, I found them completely unaccommodating.

If you have an issue with the delivery or quality of your purchase, based on my experience, don't expect much understanding or assistance from customer services.

We recently ordered grass turf from OnlineTurf and couldn't be happier with the result. The ordering process was fantastic and extremely easy. The online calculator was very accurate and enabled us to order the correct amount. The delivery arrived late due to the some problem with a trailer but company arranged next possible delivery slot which I wished. The rolls arrived promptly, fresh, and in perfect condition. The turf is great! They have completely transformed our back garden. I would 100% recommend !

My stadium turf arrived the day after I ordered it. It was in really good condition and has established itself quickly. On line turf even emailed me to saywhen it was time to give it a first cut. All good.
