Old Gold Racing Anmeldelser

I only have one share in a beautiful horse called extragalactic who was unlucky not to win his first race finished second again in his second race and won his third race. I love the feeling of knowing that a very small part of that horse belongs to me for a short time. The old gold racing team are fantastic and keep me well informed about my horse and what’s going on with all the other horses. Declarations entries and results along with lots of offers , race meetings discounts and competitions. Old gold racing is a setup to be involved with. Five star rating from me.
Regards Shaun

Old Gold is a very well run syndicate, with incredibly enthusiastic management. Great weekly reports in detail about the horses that you have shares in plus information about all their other horses.

I was bought shares in January for my 40th and now me and my wife have shares in 5! Not managed to do a race day when I’ve had a runner yet but the experience is brilliant and the communication is excellent and I can’t wait to meet some other owners when work allows me to get racing!!

Henry De Bromhead stable visit ( was excellently organised by Old Gold Racing). Our visit was most enjoyable, meeting Trainer and his excellent staff who gave us a tour of his stable. Great to see how much work and planning actually goes into the smooth running of a large stable. Lovely meeting other owners, and big mention to Daisy who helped to organise our trip and Ed who shared his knowledge of running Old Gold Racing.

Brilliant insight kept updated by obviously a very professional team

Been a member since of old gold for coming upto a year now. Been to numerous stable visits and events. Always well organised and the staff are fantastic. Always nice to meet other members at race days. Can’t fault them.

We had a great visit to Chris Gordon's yard at Morestead. Very well organised and good information about the visit beforehand. It was a very relaxed viewing of the horses- out in the fields and close up to in the yard. Lovely to see Answer That ridden and led around. Chris was very good talking about the training and the horses. A very enjoyable morning.

Stable visit to Russell Scudamore racing and was a great day out with parade of horses and seeing them in their stables. Afternoon spent at Perth races. Very well organised and staff are really nice. Definitely would go again.

From the moment we booked up for the stable visit at Lucindas we were kept informed of everything we needed to know. Meeting up at the racecourse we to Daisy and Roberta and the explained everything we needed to know. At the stables when we got off the coach we didn't have to wait long until the horses were paraded in front of us. We managed a great chat with Ed and he introduced us to Lucinda who was very friendly and accommodating and I've just seen on the official photos of the visit the photographer must have been on hand because there are some great photos of us. A big thank you to everyone who organised it because it was a brilliant experience.

A lovely visit to the yard on Wednesday. A cheerful group of Old Golders were picked up from Perth Racecourse by 3 large buses which moved off promptly, and delivered us to the yard. It was so exciting to meet our horses and see them parade, while Scu told us how they were progressing, and where their next races might be. The friendly Old Gold team were happy to answer questions, as were the yard staff. I was pleased to see that the horses all looked happy and well cared for. Thanks, Old Gold!

A fantastic opportunity to be part of an amazing racing community, highly recommend, opportunities for stable visits , owners tickets etc .
Lucinda Russels Yard visit was epic 🥰

This was a great morning, wonderful staff who take time to talk to you. Stables and surrounds are wonderful and it's a joy to know that the horses are so well cared for and looked after. Snack van a great addition

It was so good to visit the Ben Pauling racing , thanks to Old Gold . Ben was so informative regarding , not just the Old Gold horses , but all the horses on view . He explained exactly how Dropematthestation and The Hawkstonian were progressing and what we should hope for going forward. At the end of the visit Ben made it clear that he was available for any guests to approach him with any questions. A brilliant morning. Thanks again . Trevor

Old Gold Racing is bringing horse racing ownership to new groups who probably would be able to be involved.
Stable visits are a great way to gain further insight into this world of extreme professionalism. Ben Pauling is a brilliant example of a young trainer bringing new practices to the sport.

What a fabulous and unique opportunity to come and meet the immaculately kept and excellently cared for yearlings of Fittocks Stud. The staff care for the horses so perfectly.

Such an honour to meet the charming Mrs Cumani and also to meet George, the owner of Old Gold racing. George was so friendly and welcoming, I really felt like a queen.

All the people on the tour were so friendly and we shared so much love of the horses and the interest, I really felt amongst friends. Old Gold racing have given me a window into a world I did not previously know. Such a thrill to be a part of it all. So many thanks to all involved in preparing and putting this day together.

Great time was spent there

Every question I've had has been answered promptly by Old Gold Racing staff. I have the impression that those who work for OGR are part of a really committed and knowledgeable group. We visited Paul Nicholls stables yesterday, which was wonderul - our first such visit (but not our last) and it could not have been better. Old Gold Racing staff on hand yesterday were very welcoming and helpful.

Very well organised, a big thank you to all the Old Gold Staff and of Paul and his team. My Grandson was so impressed he immediately purchased a share in Slay Girl . Great Day Many Thanks Alan Swales

Brilliant experience at the Easterby Yard - just amazing to learn so much first hand about racehorses and how they are trained and raced.
