BodyView Birmingham. 2nd visit. DEXA whole body scan. Very good overall process. "Consultant" James added the cherry on the top. Helpful, informed and went the extra mile e.g. Pillow for table. Also complimented on improvement in results. Shame he is "forced" to ask for repeat business at the end of the process using "discount" tactics which are somewhat misleading but handled with sensitivity. Appointment completed quickly including a comparison report with previous report which was most helpful. Sign in process requires a tweak. Couldn't see my birthday which requires screen to be scrolled to see 31. Well done!

This was my third DEXA with BodyView and four months since my last scan. If you're interested in your health or fitness and want accurate data to understand where you are, nothing comes close to a proper DEXA. I have a set of the expensive 'smart scales' at home (the very latest model) and although they're somewhat interesting to track trends, outside of basic weight measurement, they're comically wrong in just about every measurement.

This particular scan helped me understand that some of the things I've been doing over the past four months have been spot on (pause for celebration!) but I need to tweak a few things going forward. Just what I needed to know.

Jenna was a pleasure to work with. Professional, knowledgeable, took the time to explain things in great detail (really appreciated this) and also gave me some training advice to help rectify the things highlighted in the report.

This is my second Dexa with Ryan at Oxford Circus. 4 months apart. The first scan was very informative. I`m 66, male and had good lean mass and muscle and bone density but too much visceral fat. I lost weight over 4 months and was chuffed- however I also lost muscle/lean body mass, this is why 2 Dexa scans is more useful than 1. Ryan was very helpful in reminding me this was about body composition, not just fat loss. I never thought about it that way, so it was a revelation. Thank you Ryan, see you next year for a checkup.

I visited BodyView Birmingham . It’s very easy to find and you receive free parking for two hours at the multi story directly over the road. I’d only sat down for two minutes when James came and collected me. He was very calm, very patient and a really nice guy. He explained everything to me in a really nice way , I had done a lot of research before I went though and I do recommend that.We had a slight glitch with the system part way through one of my scans, but it was soon resolved . I would definitely recommend James and BodyView Birmingham and I would definitely use them again

Such a great insight into general health and what I can do to improve certain aspects. Really efficient process and the chat and explanation was very insightful and easy to understand, as Jack put everything into layman's terms.

I had a great experience at the DEXA clinic on Cornhill, was seen by Ashley he fantastic from start to finish. Very professional and made me feel completely at ease throughout the appointment. Everything was explained clearly, and the whole process was quick, comfortable and straightforward.

The communication beforehand was very clear. The facility was impressive and modern. The lady (Cait) doing the scan was very welcoming, friendly and communicated clearly. The process was quick and easy and Cait discussed the results immediately afterwards and had a bound, paper report ready - extremely efficient! Parking was easy and free, as was a complimentary beverage. An email with the report was waiting for me when I got home. Based on my experience I would thoroughly recommend BodyView.

A positive experience, with a few suggestions for improvement - Cornhill-London City

I was very impressed with the scanner's knowledge and the information provided during my DEXA scan. I was also delighted with my results.

However, I was a little disappointed that the images weren't clearer, as I would have liked to see them in more detail. I also question why results were being compared with average statistics for women in the USA rather than UK women. Surely UK reference data would be more relevant when interpreting results for patients here?

The premises could also benefit from a little more space, and the table looked worn. A separate changing area would be a welcome improvement, particularly for women, as it would offer more privacy and comfort.

Overall, I'm very pleased with my results and appreciated the scanner's knowledge and professionalism. With a few improvements to the facilities and the way results are presented, the experience could be even better.

I've been using DEXA scans for over 8 years in order to track and hopefully increase my healthspan. So I think the Bodyview software is brilliant and I look forward to the release of the functional reserve ratio research which will revolutionise healthspan prediction and management.

I found the booking process straightforward. Upon arrival at my appointment I met Lilly who was very welcoming. She explained everything about the session in a straightforward, professional, manner. The scan was uneventful. However, when Lilly took me through the results I found them absolutely fascinating.

Just got home from my Dexa Body & Bone scan and I’m absolutely in awe of how much the lovely girl Cait at Southampton knows! Everything was so well explained and even after many many questions from me, I was never rushed or made to feel it was a silly question.
Real eye opener for the results too and SO in depth! Definitely a regular 3 month booking for me and onto Vo2 max next to find out more! Great experience

My experience was great, I was made to feel comfortable before and during the scan and the results of the scan were discussed afterwards with a few pointers as to what could help improve the results going forwards.
