Amazing Staff at Chelsea Store
I visited the Chelsea store and the staff could not have been more helpful.
I was on foot and the beautiful lamp I bought came in a huge box that would have been difficult to carry. The staff were so helpful in taking it out of the box, packaging it carefully and putting it in a bag so I could carry it home easily on the tube.
Quite a lot of bother for them but done with a smile. Amazing service

We have recently updated our delivery pricing to a tiered system across all services, including Heavy, Fragile, Parcel, and Click & Collect. This change was introduced to better reflect the real costs associated with picking, packing, special handling, and transporting items — costs that have risen significantly due to increased wages, employment costs, and fuel. Even with these adjustments, we continue to subsidise a considerable portion of the overall delivery cost.

marvellous - no change!
I finally plucked up the courage to buy two chairs I'd long coveted...
Delightful staff in Chelsea as ever, and chairs delivered inside a week by a pair of nice young men who kept me informed as to their progress re: actual (as opposed to originally-projected) arrival time. (They were early!). Chairs looking lovely, now playing around with room to set them off at best advantage. Thank you Oka.

I visited the Chelsea store looking for 10 cushions for a large couch I had just bought elsewhere. The young lady who helped us was knowledgeable and went out of her way to source the extra cushions they didn’t have in stock at the Chelsea store…

We ordered from the Bath store and had it delivered to the Chelsea store, which arrived quickly. One item was damaged, but the team in Chelsea were incredibly helpful and replaced it straight away with no hassle.

Great sofas and cushions
It is always a treat to visit Oka's flagship store in Chelsea. This time we purchased the new Alelxandrina sofa, which works really well for our narrow entry and staircase, given its slim profile. We are particularly thankful to Salvatore, who was so helpful with the purchase and delivery process. It was a great surprise to have it delivered within just a couple of days of purchase. The delivery guys were also very pleasant. However I feel they need more experience navigating tricky entry and stairs situation. In any case the sofa looks great in our space and works well with our other Oka and non-Oka pieces.

Shouting at customers
Last Sunday, I popped into the Chelsea Store and had quite an unexpected experience. I saw a woman with blonde hair, who looked like she was the manager, yelling pretty loudly at a customer downstairs. It honestly made me really uncomfortable.
I’m Just moving to the area and was excited to buy some furniture for my new place, but that scene totally put me off purchasing anything.
I have no idea how this place continues to run if thats how the management treat customers... Being professional and respectful is super important when dealing with customers - i had a brief interaction with another member of staff who was polite but looked just as embarrassed. Honestly, I don’t plan on going back. There’s definitely room for them to improve on how they treat people with kindness and respect.

Beautiful items and friendly staff but needs to sort out delivery costs and IT system
Beautiful items and friendly staff, but huge delivery charges (which have to be an additional profit generating income stream at the extortionate prices that are unavoidable). As a customer it's also evident the IT system the staff use is terrible. I've been unable to add to an order (despite not being dispatched yet), and on multiple occasions when I've returning something in store I've had to leave the items with the retail team for them to process the refund another day as the computer system is regularly down and trust that the refund comes through. The items are beautiful, but the company itself needs to please invest in customer service. I'm writing this review in the hope that it is seen and noted internally.
