I received my jacket back this weekend, I actually made the pilgrimage to the store which is fantastic and beautifully designed. It was well worth going in. My jacket is 25 years old, and looked very tired, but after the repairs looks fantastic. I will be taking it back in the future and recommending to friends and family. I think what they charge is very reasonable for what I got.

Second time my Belstaff jacket has been waxed by Oily Jack. The work is great, perfectly finished. This time I has some repair work too, which was priced well and looks like it was part of the original finish.

I was looking for a way to restore my father's 60 year old U.S. Navy flight jacket, so I could pass it on to my son, when I serendipitously came across Oily Jack. The jacket was stiff and covered with mold as it had been kept for many years in an outdoor wardrobe in humid Florida. Ashley and his team appreciated the jacket's historical and sentimental value and assured me that they could greatly improve its condition. Wisely, they didn't promise to make the jacket 'as new' but it's pretty close and I am totally delighted with the results! Everyone at Oily Jack has provided a wonderful service, from emails and phone calls to discuss the process, timing, and desired results to a super efficient system to collect and transport the jacket to and from the workshop.

What a fantastic team and place to refurbish, alter and rejuvenate my Barbour Solway Zipper from the 90ies! They have done the most amazing job with it, extending the sleeves for a modern, great fit with some cozy moleskin inside - making it even better. The extensions blend absolutely seamlessly with the rest. The re-waxing makes it look almost new, but without taking away the acquired character. But not only their work stands out: All the way from start to finish has the team communicated proactively, politely and very quickly with me - and helped to maneuver my international shipping challenges. I am beyond thankful and happy - this is THE place for maintaining, altering, and repairing wax jackets!

Lovely people, really care about their product and did a fantastic job bringing my 8 year old Barbour back to life and like new. I'll be taking it to them to "keep on the road" for the next 20 years + or however long I have left. Highly recommended.
