We also lower the cost of getting started, with down payments as low as $0 and payments matched to your paycheck, at 0% interest, $0 finance charges and $0 late fees.

Because we are a lender (in addition to your broker), your payment plan is a real loan, and we report all of your payments to the major credit bureaus. quoted a price that I liked, signed the documents and what the heck happened but the price increased afterwards! To cancel was a pretty penny ripoff also ($174 within in 10 hrs) No grace period. Absolutely stole and lied to me about quoted price ($119 a monthly )After i signed the docs it went up($169 twice every month $338 total). What a Con ripoff. Horrible brand..Also a Waste of time doing all their steps. Absolutely Not recommended

Hi Douglas, we're sorry for the confusion around pricing. To clarify what happened: the initial quote you saw was a preliminary estimate, and the final price is confirmed at the point of signing your documents.
The amount displayed when you completed your purchase was the correct final price. So, no price changes, no resets.
On the cancellation balance, our broker fee is earned at the point of purchase and covers all the work done to get you insured, so it is non-refundable even on same day cancellations.

I had the policy less than 24hrs
I had the policy less than 24hrs. Paid 89 down. Found better policy. Was told I had to pay another 90.00 to cancel. Didn't expect to get the original amount back but to pay another 90.00 to cancel is insane. If I had it for maybe another week or so I could understand having to pay for longer coverage but I didn't even have it a full day yet.

To explain: when you purchase a policy through OCHO, our broker fee is earned at the point of purchase and covers all the work done to get you insured, regardless of how long you keep the policy. The $149 'broker fee' is crap considering i never talked to anyone, did all the input myself, and the process is fully automated but whatever i guess you guys have to make money too... Insurance doesn't seem to be cheaper than anyone else

Hi, we hear you and it's a fair question. The broker fee covers everything OCHO does on your behalf to get you insured. We search through all available options to find you the best price, use our proprietary PriceCheck AI tool to make sure you're not overpaying, collect all the information carriers need like vehicle photos and license copies, deliver your final quote in minutes, and handle any changes or reinstatements along the way. That's a lot of work that a traditional insurance broker would charge far more for.
On top of that, as an OCHO customer you also get access to benefits like low down payments, flexible payment schedules, more time to pay when you need it, and credit building with every on-time payment. Benefits you won't find bundled together anywhere else.
