I purchased a refurbished launchpad pro…
I purchased a refurbished launchpad pro mk3 for 279.99 usd. My experience has been decent so far. The shipping was around a week from ordering to receiving the unit. It arrived in decent condition.
Specifically, the launchpad pro mk3 was spotless on top (pads were clean and crisp, only superficial scratches on logo), but the launchpad was dusty on the bottom of the launchpad from the previous owner (orangish rubber center part), so I had to clean the dusty bottom whenever it arrived. I have been using the launchpad pro mk3 almost everyday since receiving it. I have paired it with Logic Pro, and it is a wonderful tool for making digital music.
An annoyance is that whenever I pick up the launchpad and orient it from facing flat/horizontal, and then move it to where the launchpad is facing upright/vertical, it makes loose debris sounds. Again, nothing looks wrong, and it works with Logic Pro, so I’m not overly bothered, it’s just annoying. I submitted a ticket about the loose debris noise to novation music. The support team responded about a week later, and offered to do an exchange for another refurbished launchpad pro mk3, but they told me it would be a week of waiting for a new product and I would have to ship back the one I have now first, and that sounds like too much trouble as of now. So I decided to just keep the one I have and then follow up with the 3 year warranty if the unit ever stops working for whatever reason. Amazing product, slight annoyances, God willing, no real issues. Keep on being musical
