My experience selling my house with Northwall was poor and not worth the £3,500 fee.

My sale started in the office, then without warning it was moved to a remote sales progression colleague. Around six weeks later, I was told her workload was too high and the sale was moved back into the office again. The constant back-and-forth caused confusion and, in my view, unnecessary delays due to a lack of proper handover.

I raised this as part of a formal complaint. During the process, a manager agreed that my sale should not have been moved from in-office to remote and then back into the office again, and acknowledged that this was not how their sales process should have been handled. Despite this clear admission, I was offered no resolution after completing all three stages of their complaints procedure.

I also requested a new Memorandum of Sale and a copy of my contract as the originals had expired on the app and were inaccessible. I was told they would be sent immediately, but I never received them. I was also asked whether I still had the house keys, despite having already provided a set for viewings, as no keys were recorded on my file.

Overall, the service felt disorganised and poorly managed from start to finish.

After a disaster experience with a previous estate agent, we had been put off trying to sell our home. The fun had been taken out of it and it seemed like our home was simply unsellable. We resigned ourselves to staying put. That was until we got in touch with Kate at North Wall! Straight away we could see these were a class apart from other Estate Agents – after an awful experience we needed our hand holding and for someone competent to take control and that’s exactly what North Wall did. They focussed so much on the marketing and getting things right the first time around. During a tricky market, we managed to get an asking price offer from a reliable buyer. Throughout the process North Wall were on hand for any question, query no matter how small or silly it seemed. In the spirit of fairness, no, they are not the cheapest. But we truly believe you get what you pay for and it was totally worth paying the extra for North Wall. They have a dedicated Sales Progressor once you have an offer on your property which we found invaluable. Kate, Jess, Alison, Sally, Jake – thank you SO much for all of your help. Hopefully this is the last time we move but if we ever were to again we would definitely choose North Wall.

Well, what can we say, other than the best estate agents we have ever dealt with by a country mile.

With the process of selling our home, Kate and her team have been incredible from start to end, often going above and beyond what you would reasonably expect with helping us out. Kate even helped us secure our dream home by dealing with our sellers agents, who were the opposite of North Wall. The new house purchase has been a bit of a nightmare, the team here have done everything they could to successfully keep us on track.

They’re straight, honest, friendly, professional, always on top of things and keep you informed every step of the way. If you don’t get hold of them, they call you straight back. I can honestly say that we will never use anyone else if we ever have to move again. We really cannot thank them enough and as a result, we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Excellent service from Kate and her team, they are print, efficient and very helpful. On this occasion I was buying and I have to say they were possibly the best estate agents I’ve dealt with in a long time in terms of efficiency and communication. Would definitely work with them again wether buying or selling.
