!PLEASE! be very careful dealing with this Company, my mother entered there showroom and was told that a guy called Matt Jackson would take care of her back in July/August 2026 and he certainly did do just that she picked the type of door she wanted and then he came out to mums house with Northern Trade Windows letter headed paper writing down the measurements etc. Matt went away to put a quote together and contacted mum about price and payment she paid Matt Jackson £3000.00 he mentioned that he was doing the work for Northern Trade Windows as a sub contractor however since he has taken the money NO DOOR has been fitted all she has received is excuses and now we are in November 2026 but the icing on the cake is when I contacted this Company they didn't know anything about apparently.
With all the above mentioned I'm sure you would agree this doesn't add up, My Mother is 78yrs old and recently lost her husband and I'm very surprised that this company didn't take any responsibility for Matt Jackson committing FRAUD on a elderly woman.

Probably the worst company there is for buying doors & windows, bought 2 sash windows & a composite door from this company, everything about this order was wrong, the windows were made wrong, the door was wrong & would not close properly without catching the frame constantly & no one was bothered about putting it right, shambolic, give these a very wide berth.

Seamless from start to finish fantastic communication, installation superb even cleaned up afterwards. Quality windows.

We had new windows and door supplied and fitted for our daughters house Renovation everything went seem less from deciding to use northern trade to completion was a reasonable price and turned round within the 3-4 week time frame given really happy would deffo recommend to others

Contracted Northern Trade Windows to fit soffits and fascias, and dry verge as I had damage to the previous installation. I paid 50% deposit. I was originally told it would be two or three days, and it took three weeks. Regular 'empty' days where no work was done, or there was the wrong kit delivered or bits missing. The fall pipes are not finished, the gutter is badly placed so the roof tile is not in line with the neighbours gutter or roof tiles. I made the mistake of listening to the contractor and paid before the job was finished, although there were constant reassurances that 'someone would be here tomorrow to finish the fallpipes'. This is neither professional nor competent, in my opinion. I have tried to contact this company, so far no-one has phoned or emailed. I paid £6,832 for this mess. It's a disgrace. If it is put right, I shall leave appropriate feedback.

Unbelievable company with unbelievable customer support and service Matt is absolutely fantastic nothing is too much trouble.
From start to finish we are very happy with everything they have done full house windows and doors best company we have ever used and we have moved a lot. Thanks so much

The windows look so good and the service was great

The install was ok, a slight scrape on the door frame that has been logged to be fixed. The only real issue was the lock provided wasn't a Yale lock as sold, initially they sent somebody who arrived with the same lock so said they had to order the part, a couple of weeks and several messages left on the answering machine before a call back and the correct lock fitted.

We had a new conservatory supplied and installed by Northern Trade Windows, and the whole team was knowledgable and helpful. The installers -Daryl and Dale, I think were their names - were first class. The couple of minor issues we had were overcome with very little fuss. Will definitely use this company again.

Northern Trade Windows recently installed 4 windows and a door/frame for me. They were professional, whilst friendly, from initial contact throughout the whole process. The product quality is great and at a good price. The standard of workmanship of the fitters was excellent, they were also respectful of property and left all relevant areas clean and tidy. Overall very pleased with NTW and highly recommend.

Northern trade windows came to measure my bifold door and 3 external doors. And 5 windows. Very professional came measured. Then sent me quote. Then came back remeasured. Explained our bifold needed 6 openers were other firms were doing 5. Which would have made it hard to open been bigger glass units. Within 4 weeks all work done to a very high standard. Cannot fault these guys fantastic job nothing to much trouble. Would highly recommend and will be using again on next project.

Have used Northern Trade Windows twice now for Windows and doors and both times have had excellent service. The sales team don't use high pressure tactics like some other companies and give a fair price first time. The surveyor's are particularly friendly and professional and the fitting itself has been seamless. Have had no problems at all with my guarantees and warranty being received in the post. The after care has been fantastic. 10/10

Two sets of bifolds installed in 2021. Handle on one of them sheared off completely - no malfunction before, just the metal rod linking the two handles interior and exterior, completely snapped in two in normal use when closing, effectively locking us in from those doors. Exact same thing happened last month to a neighbour who had the same doors fitted at the same time. I called to activate the 10 year warranty I was told they came with. I'm told it does not apply to handles! Or indeed to 'any moving parts' - just the frames and glass. Their call out charge just to 'take a look' is £150. Just so customers know, if you are thinking of buying, the limit to the warranty they offer.

Well what can I say about this company. I am over the moon with my new front door :)

coservatory door not working as it should possobly multi point locking mechanism coservatory just out of 10 year warranty phoned them and they tell me parts may not be available suggested going to a specalist door repair company exuse me! the company tell you in advert they are specialst in the window and conservatory fitting they have done all the windows in my house plus conservatory will not be recomending them the / company phoned after seeing review not pleased because i did not mention the £150 call out charge this was to see if it could be repaired but no guarantee a part could be available so despite call out charge they may not be able to do anything which i thought was not on i would have paid but being negative over part availability put me off after all its not long out of warranty

I had a problem with one of the window handles on my bathroom , the window was installed approx 4 years ago When I rang the service line I was told that the handles only had a 1 year warranty, so not as advertised.
The company doesn’t seem interested in resolving my problem so my advice to people considering buying new windows is look elsewhere.

We needed a new front door, the guy who called was really good, gave a clear price without pushing for a sale. The door came 2 weeks later, it was fitted in good time and the guy did a great job and we are very happy. Good value, great products
