Un étoile parce que je ne peux pas mettre 0! A fuir, aucun intérêt, beaucoup d’annonces illegales (travail non déclaré, arnaque, trafic d’animaux, prostitution, racisme, etc etc…. Et des modérateurs qui ne servent pas vraiment, qui vous bloquent quand vous répondez à un commentaire violent et/ou malveillant! Et on vous fait croire que c’est une application d’entraide. Je crois que chacun a sa propre définition de l’entraide! Bref à fuir .

absolute rubbish site, cannot fully open messages, cannot access main site, very clumsy site, waste of time, don't use you'll be pulling your hair out!

For a website that appears to suggest a friendly and 'constructive' atmosphere, the bottom line is that it's nothing but an idiotic complaint line that restricts the expression of compassion, sentiment and solution. They should rename it NextHorror!!!

I am interested in issues that affect my neighborhood and this is why I joined this page. I found out quite the contrary. Everything you post is spam. My posts get reactions and discussion which I assumed the page was for. Communication. As long as you do not communicate, your fine! Just so you know. News is not Spam. They call them issues! They don't live up to what they promote.

I went to claim my business on their website to correct some information. They banned without any reason and the appeal process has not responded after 3 weeks. Awful organization.

Broken Accountability Mechanisms
The process for reporting moderator misconduct is fundamentally ineffective. When local Leads engage in bullying, personal attacks, or abuse the reporting system, complaints to Nextdoor Support are either redirected to the problematic community group itself or met with generic, unhelpful responses. This structural failure leaves abusive moderators unaccountable and drives away residents seeking genuine community engagement.
An Echo Chamber, Not a Community Forum
Nextdoor has devolved into a platform where legitimate neighborhood concerns are overshadowed by personal conflicts, and rule enforcement depends entirely on who is reporting and who is being reported. The platform prioritizes protecting its volunteer moderator base over ensuring fairness for all users.
I cannot recommend Nextdoor in its current state. Until the company implements meaningful oversight of local moderators and creates functioning accountability systems, the platform fails to deliver on its core promise of healthy neighborhood connection.

my email is being used maliciously to sign me up to services I didn't want and there is no way to opt out. no way to contact nextdoor. surely a confirmation email at the very least before being spammed?

I just came off a 30-day ban for posting "You can't silence an opinion by ending a life" and "No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth" These two post were posted by me because other posters were posting about Charlie Kirk. I reported many users for posting "That he got what he deserved" There post are still there after 30-days! Yes, Next Door has an agenda. Silence all that does not confirm to their way of thinking.

This platform is biased and makes it a habit of silencing conservative views. My response post (ie. I didn't start the conversation) was an equal response to the original, opposing comment. However, I got suspended. Nextdoor shows their true colors. I would steer clear of it.

My opinion about a local restaurant was posted in response to an inquiry. It turned out that the original poster was the owner of the restaurant but he had not identified himself as such. There was nothing profane or insulting about my response, only a description of my experience, but the original poster/restaurant owner was able to have my post deleted. I received no notification or reason. It is misleading to allow a business to retain only positive posts.

NEXTDOOR is the worst online experience I’ve ever had. It’s biased against Democrats and has been infiltrated by MAGA. They post inflammatory political posts, which is not allowed, and the moderators suspend people that complain about the discrimination. Reported to Better Business Bureau and there were only 1-star reviews on the BBB. Goodbye Nextdoor forever.

this app is literally filled with nazis, racist, bigoted people who claim to be good neighbors. This app breeds misinformation and those who created the app are also racist and responsible for this behavior.

Unfortunately, this app fosters a mob mentality and a mean-girl high school vibe. If you write something that the neighbors disagree with, the entire neighborhood comes for you. There is no moderator or reviewer because they also engage in disrespectful trolling behavior. This could be an excellent forum for neighbors if there were more accountability in moderating and eliminating destructive behaviors, such as name-calling, public shaming, and trolling, along with misinformation. When you hit the button to report, nothing happens. There are zillions of business ads, but also subjective views of those businesses.

Terrible. Most biased platform I have ever used, saturated with backyard animal breeders and those seeking any kind of job they can get or money out of desperation. I don’t recommend.

Please , please, if you value any semblance of privacy, DO NOT!! I repeat DO NOT!! sign up with this highly intrusive supposed neighborhood app! There is absolutely no way that I’ve found to unsubscribe. Mistakenly think I’ve successfully unsubscribed and are done with them, then 30-60 days later , their Neighborhood news will evilly sneak into my mail. This scary app is not worth any benefits you might derive. 😳 Wtf. Run .. do not walk away from this stoopid app. I repeat STOOPID APP
