Extremely poor experience with…
Extremely poor experience with NewEdgeBlinds. I placed an order on the 8th of Dec and never received. My order has been delayed for weeks with repeated claims of “failed delivery attempts” that are completely false. I was home every time and have Ring camera footage proving no courier attended.
I even took time off work to wait for a promised delivery by 5pm — again, nothing. No knock, no call, no delivery.
Customer service acknowledged the issue but nothing changed. Being told I can’t cancel or get a refund for a “custom” item that never arrives ,is unacceptable. Total waste of time and very unprofessional. Will escalate this issue ,as I feel I have been scamed, back and forward emails ,waste of time.

We have been in contact throughout regarding the courier’s failed delivery scans, and I appreciate how difficult it is when the tracking information doesn’t match what you’re seeing at home. We rely on the courier’s data to progress an investigation, but it’s clear that the service you received from them has fallen short of what either of us would expect.
To be clear, we have never intended to leave you without a resolution. Custom‑made items do follow a different process, but when a courier investigation confirms a parcel has not been delivered, we always resolve this for the customer , either with a replacement or a refund depending on the outcome.
I’d really like to get this sorted for you now. If you could please reply to our last email or contact us directly at sales@newedgeblinds.com, I will personally make sure this is brought to a conclusion without any further delay.

I ordered a curtain pole from New edge…
I ordered a curtain pole from New edge blinds from the debenhams website and the cost was £65.75 after purchasing the item, i was browsing the web on the range website and they could get the excact same curtain pole from new edge blinds but the cost was £51 How can that be.
secondly the item description is not what the item actually is i wanted and was described as polished nickel. when the item came it was black dull colour.
thridly the couriers they use DX logistics are not very good. i wasnt in to receive my item. However, i got a message saying they had left the item with a neighbour. However, when i ask that neighbour they didnt know nothing about this. i then got home to find that they had just left it outside no signature no calling card like they siad they had left. no good at all.

I would avoid them at all cost, please read the other reviews, we had to get a third party to force a refund as our item never showed up and they refused to help other then saying to wait, after a month we had to get help from the bank for a refund

After reviewing your order, we were surprised by your comments, as the courier tracking shows multiple delivery attempts, including a calling card being left and several redelivery bookings. At no point did we refuse to help — we monitored the parcel throughout and followed the courier’s process while it was still in transit.
We also have no record of any third‑party contacting us regarding a refund, nor any communication from your bank. If something went wrong in the process, we genuinely apologise, and we’re always here to resolve issues directly.

Poor packing
I have not been able to arrange for someone to fit the blind for me yet. However, I have taken it out of the tube to check the length and can see that part of the bottom edge has been folded back on itself. I imagine that this will show when the blind is put up. I am hoping there will be someone available to speak to me tomorrow afternoon 29/12 so I can discuss whether this needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, I am disabled so I'm not able to take it out of the plastic wrapping and attempt to iron out the crease.

Product is ok if / when it finally arrives!
The product when it finally arrives is ok and the customer service are responsive and polite. Unfortunately they seem to have trouble in delivering the product. I ordered a curtain pole and one month later I was able to put the pole up, after ordering a connector part myself from Amazon and using our own screws. The pole arrived missing all these parts in a broken box 2 weeks late. They then sent out the missing fixings and brackets (which I had to ask twice for) which eventually turned up 3 days late and missing all the screws and rawl plugs. At one point when the pole was missing they said they had sent a replacement; they didn't as the original one turned up less than 12 hours after they said they would send one. After that we had a slightly farcical email exchange where they insisted the missing pole that eventually arrived was the replacement. I gave up on that fight. In short, they are polite and the product is ok, although extremely badly packaged. There was an element of having to chase them when things went quiet and I still didn't have a product, but they were always polite, just didn't follow through with what they said they would do. I would recommend ordering anything with an extremely long lead time just in case. I never thought I would have such a long email thread and have to wait so long for a curtain pole.

Shocking customer service
Shocking customer service. I ordered a curtain pole through B&Q and the wrong item was delivered. After contacting B&Q, New Edge Blinds said I needed to return the wrong item to a local B&Q store before they would ship the correct item, because their returns policy doesn't include courier collections, despite the fact the Consumer Rights Act states the supplier is responsible for paying for and arranging collection when the wrong item is delivered.
New Edge Blinds expect me to waste my own time and money to correct a mistake that they made. Absolutely shocking, and illegal, customer service.

I’m sorry to hear about this and I understand why you’re frustrated, receiving the wrong item is not what anyone expects.
Because this order was placed via B&Q, the return/exchange process is normally handled through B&Q’s returns channel, which is why a store return may have been suggested. However, we absolutely do not expect you to be out of pocket for correcting an error, and we want to resolve this fairly and promptly.
We have asked for a few further details (such as the B&Q order/reference number and the item received vs. expected) so we can investigate properly and arrange the correct resolution as quickly as possible.
Once we have the requested information and we’ll take this forward immediately.

I ordered 115cm wide blinds
I ordered 115cm wide blinds, the instructions ok the product page said they can be trimmed up to 8cm. They arrived already cut so I could not cut them down. No instructions in the box, the cuts were not even clean and all the shrapnel was in the box. They did not state that they would cut them down. I believe they have just sent me some second hand blinds. Now I have to pay to ship them back. Absolutely unbelievable.

After checking our records, the order placed does not appear to be for a 115cm width, so there may be some confusion over the size selected at checkout. We also want to reassure you that we do not supply second-hand blinds, all items are dispatched as new.
That said, if the blinds arrived with a poor cut finish, debris in the packaging, or missing instructions, that’s not acceptable and we want to put it right. We have contacted you directly to resolve this, but we haven’t received a response yet.

The delivery took ages…
The delivery of the duvet set took ages to arrive and when I opened the parcel, the duvet set didn't have any wrapping on!
I'm returning it as obviously been handled and I suspect returned by another customer like that!
