I wrote a review here a few months ago, when my dress arrived , and that was an experience in itself, I loved the packaging, the smell, etc.
The wedding day came and went, and the dress was amazing. I got so many compliments on it, and it endured the whole day of festivities and partying. I am so happy that I chose that dress. It is the "Celestia Ribbon Bodice Ankle Gown".

Beautiful dresses and exceptional customer service - help given to change delivery address at very short notice. I found the sizing slightly out as I am usually a 12 or 14 depending on the brand but had to go up to size 16 for the dress to fit. I also think the Try Before You Buy concept could be explained more clearly and on the home page as I thought it referred to going to the store to try on! However I am very excited to wear my Needle & Thread dress to my daughter’s wedding and I’m very glad I found them.

I am really pleased with my dress and the service I got. Ordered two dresses to try but loved them both, so hard to decide which one I wanted but had to eventually pick one . Was nice to try before buying and easy to return . Would definitely recommend to others.

I booked an appointment to find a wedding dress, the team unfortunately couldn't get the dresses in that I requested to try on but they were very friendly and accommodating. Horrible sizing but wonderful dresses
Bad sizing but wonderful dresses. The sizes are really off. My normal size is 2 sizes larger for these dresses.

Delivery was prompt and dress was beautiful in person.
Sizing is a bit off- having read reviews and researched I sized up & glad I did as the size up just fits perfectly, my normal size wouldn’t have gone near me!
Dress is just so intricate and beautiful, can’t wait to wear it.
For the price of the dress I expected packaging to be better as a standard ( whilst not having to purchase a separate box) if you are charging high end prices you’d expect better packaging in my opinion. Also the dress has internal support straps for the purpose of hanging on a hanger and they are cleverly looped through the side and can be removed and dropped while wearing. One of these loops was broken when I received the dress- again for the price you wouldn’t expect this to be the case.
Good quality dress and a stand out piece, be mindful of sizing and you won’t be disappointed.

Superbly made dress
I was pleasantly surprised that the dress I ordered actually fitted me and how good it made me look! The workmanship is superb including the lining. I used the Try Before You Buy scheme which suited me well. My only concern is that we’re not all model height so the ballerina dress ends up being a maxi dress. Perhaps Needle and Thread would benefit from offering a Petite option like Seasalt do? It would be lovely if there were an option of coordinates like a matching jacket etc as I’m having to source this elsewhere.

I recently ordered a dress with the try before you buy option. I received the dress that wasn't suitable, returned it the next day. One week later I was charged £10 for the return service. Please watch out for this as I missed this in the small print. I also recently ordered a try before you buy dress with mint velvet & it's was an excellent service with no extra charges.

I so wanted one of these dresses to…
I so wanted one of these dresses to suit me. I tried 12, all of which didn’t fit. Sadly the sizing is all over the place. I’m a size 12/14 but even a size 16 was tight around the hips then gaping at the top.
And the lengths of all dresses are loooong! I really wanted ballerina length but that was down to my ankles (I’m 5’2”).
So all dresses returned. I’ll keep looking at them but they unless their sizing improves doubt I’ll buy.

The dress I ordered was just stunning. Quality made, fit was excellent and it was packed perfectly.
Arrived within 3 days from order.
Also I had to return an item as it wasn’t suitable. My return was tracked and refunded as soon as my item was received back.
