I have come to loathe banking with Nedbank. A simple bank deposit has turned into my worst nightmare. One minute on Tuesday 4 July 2023, I had R3200 solid cash then I deposited it into a Nedbank ATM. One R100 bill is returned, machine decides for some weird reason, to cancel the transaction. Up till now, I still don't have a clue wheb I'll have that money back. Of all the banks I have dealt with, Nedbank has definitely been the WORST! Stay away fron Nedbank. Save yourself the geartache of incompetence.

I am lost for words at how disappointed I am with Nedbank. I made a claim for my car and they take two weeks to process paper work, then they choose a panel beater for you and that panel beater is also slow and then they dnt want to update you coz they say everything is a third party , they didn't even give me a courtesy car extension since it was not my fault either , then the consultants dnt even try to get the matters resolved but have their defense's up on why they shouldn't further assist, treating clients as if they're doing them a favour. Dnt go for this insurance u will be frustrated the entire time with them. Worse decision I ever made was leaving outsurance to join such inconsiderate people

Nedbank is pits. If the atms are not out of service, they retain /swallow your money and the process tho get it back is like a lifetime😭😭😭

shocking service received from Halimaa at client complaints. She never did what she promised to do and now i have a negative credit scrore for something that Nedbank has done.

Been a business and personal customer for over 30 years. These guys do not care about old customers. If you want to pay for a five star service and receive a one star service, look no further as you have found your bank.

My bank unanimously restricted my account on Friday due to the fact that they did not have a copy of my ID. Firstly negligence on their behalf as the Financial Intelligence Centre Act dictated an ID as a basic requirement for any banking holder. It clearly indicated negligence on behalf of the bank. Furthermore Nedbank failed to contact me via email, SMS or telecom to request a copy of my ID and merely restricted my account rendering it useless to me. THEN the following day someone made a credit increase application on my credit card - upon which I contacted the FRAUD department who have to date not yet cancelled or investigated this fraudulent activity. I have been without access to my account for over 4 working days, the bank alleges that my FICA is "in process", and in the interim my account remains restricted with daily emails reminding me of my credit application. Nothing has been done. In all honestly all I want to do is withdraw all the money from my respective accounts, including the investment accounts in order to never have to deal with Nedbank and its cunning and negligent behaviour.

Worse bank ever!!!!!!

Staff are incompetent and now me as the client must pay for it. They just pull up they shoulders and after 8 months send me a letter of demand!!!!!

Nedbank your customer service is disgusting and you are steeling from clients and you cover for your incompetent staff

I used a Nedbank atm this morning not knowing they was a Nedbank guy busy with the atm from inside withdrew money got a notification on my phone but no cash .So I waited on that same atm until the cleaning lady appeared she is the one who informed me that no they s someone busy inside i must wait The guy later came out and then i let him know of this problem he said the money will reverse into my account i must try again and then he vanished I tried again but they was no money .
So my question is why do you allow us use the machine if you are busy with it
Your guys are so useless l feel he was unhelpful because he was supposed to wait there and see what is happening then advise what to do next

You are an dispicable bank..How can you prevent my funds into my account

I was sexually harassed at work, the company reinstated the man and backed me into a corner and forced constructive Dismissal. I had never missed a payment on my nedbank loans, I pay a service fee and protection plan every month for months, I've been a client for almost 10 years. I attempted to apply for cover on my loan so I don't fall behind as I'm unemployed now single mom of 3 with no source of income. They flat out would not assist because I was not retrenched and to top it because I raised my disappointment in this matter, they decided to send me a closure letter of my bank account titling it misconduct, so now Climbing into my character as a person when I am trying so hard to keep my head above water, I'm currently in a mental health program due to the sexual harassment situation, I even have a case number for the case. But instead of helping a client, a woman, they decide to decline and to top it strip me of my account and brand me with a bad name. This is what has gone wrong with humanity.

If you think youre getting bad service as an existing client, try again. It has been over a month simply for me to OPEN an account. Call centre just sends you in circles going from person to person without ever getting the "Right" person or "Right" Department.

How utterly ridiculous it is that you cant even OPEN an account. I am purely doing it for convenience of a transfer reflecting immediately, but **** this is just ridiculous.

PEOPLE IN CHARGE OF NEDBANK:
Get your website sorted, your processes sorted, your call cente sorted, your consultant trained, and your **** act together. I swear you will have NO customers in 10-20 years...

I've just started using Nedbank bank but do disappointed with the delivery of my card since I wasn't given the option to create the account and have my card the same day like normally. Instead it was delivered and I was not told that I'll have to pay for that. No body explained, not even the Lady who helped me create my account. I only saw that I was changed for the delivery, had I was told that I'll be changed for it to be delivered... I would have waited for my card at the bank, same day I opened the nedbank account. I'm very disappointed and it's a shame.

I am very disappointed with nedbank Aggrement on all my debit orders goes on the 15 every month but on the 12 of May I was so surprised that I have been debited on the day I never told them to debit on more specially that money I had other plans for it . I don't understand because 15 of May was gonna be on Monday. Problem is it because there was money in my account . That was very unprofessional.

I received a international payment on 26th of april and now nedbank hasnt released my money to my bank account its the 12 of May I'm tired I didn't know it was gonna disappoint me this way I sent emails made calls an the consultant said it will take 24- 48 hours since they said my money will reflect on my account I think of closing the bank I never had such a bad experience with other banks, even in the bank they didn't help they said I must contact them I keep asking myself why can't they help me I'm very disappointed really

This bank is so inconsiderate, I transferred my funds from my cheque account to my credit account. For 15 days the large amount I transferred was missing/ lost. The ****** bank did not know where my money went!!!! I continuous tried to call their private client contact centre, they kept on telling me that my funds are missing and they still investigating. As much as they allocated me a private banker and kept on telling me my case is escalated. There would be no response for two days until I call them to find out. They were not concerned about the payments I still needed to do with the funds in that credit card. If you are under their private client services, let me tell you your funds might go missing and you will receive the same **** of updates I was receiving!!! Nedbank sucks dealing with their clients! I needed to take out my 32 days account funds to help me stay abreast. I am so defeated by this bank and really hope this does not happen to other clients!

How sad. I was summarily disqualified, based on age, for a loan. It took less than 10 seconds.
Todays senior citizens were the source of Nedbank's business and profit a few years ago. Now you kick to touch without any consideration. Shame on you!!

Terrible experience with customer services. I have been waiting for my card for weeks. Ended up calling them to hear that no card has been ordered… crazy

I have been trying to get a proof of payment for funds they seemingly say they have sent back to my International account with no luck. There is no response when you sent an e-mail and when you call their customer support center you are told its an issue that is handled in the back office and there is no direct line to the back office. Its been a month right now.
My bank from Saudi Arabia, Saudi National Bank have sent them a cancellation request for that international payment but to date they have no responded to that request.
I am really annoyed at their service.

The Nedbank App has been upgraded, before the upgrate I was able to view my bond account after logging in, now I am so confused. I have been trying to access my bond account since last week.I am not sure if it is because I don't know have any other active account except the bond account.
