Avoid NCC courses by Study House
It's a real shame as I am not one to leave negative reviews, but my current experience leaves me little choice but to offer caution to others. NCC undoubtedly has great reviews, and I don't doubt the high quality or the varsity of these reviews. HOWEVER, my daughter took out a business planning course with NCC, which NCC told us was delivered by a partner organisation called Study House. We received the study materials which consisted entirely of just PDFs of reading material. No video content, not checkpoints, no quizzes or other interactive elements. Just written material literally from a book. Worst course content presentation I've ever seen (and I've worked as a lecturer for 10 years). We agreed that this wasn't what she wanted to spend over £400 for and asked for a refund. We were told to contact Study House, which I declined, since we paid NCC, and therefore should receive a refund from such. It's now been over 3 weeks, and we keep being told that information will be checked with managers, but no progress whatsoever. Communication stopped 10 days ago and yet they dared taking it another payment for a course we don't want. Very frustrating!
My advice, NCC is bad at running partnerships, and: avoid Study House courses offered by NCC.

I'm currently completely Level 4…
I'm currently completing the Level 4 Advanced Counselling Diploma. I've almost finished. Really enjoyed the course and it's allowing me to build a new career as a Counsellor. The tutor feedback received after submitting assignments is very informative. As I didn't even know how to cite anything until I cracked it after the first modules feedback advice. I've really appreciated the assignment feedback as after a 25 year education break returning to study after all this time I was a little rusty. Website is easy to use and it's given me the confidence to apply for a Degree in Psychology and Counselling course which I start next February.

Professional Support & Extremely Cost Effective way of Learning!
When I found NCC Online Learning and the course that I have been longing to complete for several years, I honestly thought that it might be too good to be true! So when I called the number and enquired all about it I was absolutely thrilled to discover that it really is to be believed!!
The monthly payments are manageable, there are no hidden costs or nasty extras involved - what you sign up for is exactly as it says it is! The enquiry line is so very helpful too! I spoke to a lady called Kerrie and she was so kind, welcoming and knowledgable about my course subject - it truly was a breeze to apply and become enrolled!
I am now well on the way to achieving my goals and I know that I have the support in my corner to do this at my own pace, with only my own expectations to be met. Studying from home is such a bonus for me as I live in rural mid Wales and rely on puic transport and have limited access to places that provide my chosen course also.
Learning with the NCC is a fabulous way to go about future learning and I already have my sights set on other courses available to me 😊.

Highly Recommend NCC Home Learning
I cannot speak more positively about the very efficient and thorough help myself and my partner received from the advisor who assisted us with course information, enrollment and communication with the prison I am accessing an NCC course from. As I struggle to make contact with external persons or organisations from within custody, I found that NCC made things very easy for my partner to communicate on my behalf; and in liaising with my mentor within the prison to ensure I received my course materials and could submit my assignments. Email contact was speedy and thorough and I was reassured by how quickly my queries were addressed whenever my partner contacted NCC. The course materials arrived promptly and I can make contact with my assigned tutor meaning the learning support is also to a high standard for a distance/ home learning course. I found the materials provided to be interesting and challenging at the same time, so I feel motivated to do the assignments. Excellent customer service and highquality (I self-funded my course on a limited income so it is very important to me that I get good value for money and a qualification which will assist me on my future career plans). I highly recommend NCC Home Learning, not only for prisoners or those unable to access a face-to-face educational programme, but for anyone wanting to do a course with flexibility to work around their other commitments or to enhance their employability/skills.
