A fantastic service for students with specialist skills. I hired a photographer who was excellent! I would highly recommend this organisation.

The platform is thoughtful and works well for young people. It's also vetted and the team work hard to make sure nobody is left waiting which is very reassuring.

I believe My Pocket Skill is a great way to young people to connect with businesses and gain some experience and some pocket money. For me, was a good way to get out of my comfort zone and feel more comfortable and confident about my skills and work. I totally recommend to check it out!

MPS has been a fantastic and very flexible way to earn money. They have so many skills you can offer that you are bound to already have at least one of them. It was very easy to sign up and I started getting clients quickly, allowing me to build momentum, earn more, and eventually level up. The time requirements for each client/task are made very clear, so I know how much time to dedicate alongside my studies and other commitments. I would definitely recommend MPS.

Really easy to use and is a great way to earn some money on the side using skills you have, especially for students

They take no consideration of situation and are so afraid of clients moving private. Everything needs to be controlled and they are extremely consistent in you rating them. They are also very pushy about the privacy and conditions of the platform.

I’m Eleanor and I work on MyPocketSkills Absolutely love MyPocketSkills! As a student, I was overwhelmed with bills and financial stress, but this platform has been a game-changer. It’s easy to understand, practical, and has given me the tools I need to handle my finances confidently. Using it has eased my anxiety and made managing money a lot less stressful. I enjoy every moment of learning with MyPocketSkills—definitely a must-have for students and young adults!

Initially booked for an hours consult - the lady I booked with was lovely. I wanted to cancel but was advised that what I had submitted , was just to cover the hour to get to know what was required and that I had not submitted which platform I wanted to use and how was the young girl supposed to know ? !! Maybe this is because as i was not advised which platform was to be used?? - I don’t have any issue with the lady I had booked with , but I have cancelled booking any more time just because how I was dealt with by Customer services., who were very abrupt and spoke to me like an idiot !! I wouldn’t have any customers left if I dealt with them that way ! Awful

I'm editing my previous bad review as an actual human from the site got in touch and managed to sort out the frustrating issues I was having with the site not working. So I now know that this *is* a legitimate site, and it does have real humans working on it, and I'm apologising here for doubting that in my previous review. I haven't got as far as being able to hire any of the young people yet so can't comment on how well that works, but hopefully it will deliver what it promises and I'll be able to update positively

Excellent platform to connect skilled young adults with those looking for good value services. I was looking for a tutor to help my daughter who missed quite alot of school and needs help plugging gaps for her GCSE’s. Finding MyPocketSkil was literally the answer to my prayers. Unable to afford adult tutors I was looking for a young person who’d recently done their exams to help my daughter. There is a great pool of extremely talented young people out there providing tutoring at very affordable prices. We have trialled 2 young ladies to tutor my daughter and both delivered well prepared lessons, engaging and checking understanding. My daughter came away understanding topics she had struggled with in just one session. We loved both young ladies so much we will be booking both to help her over the next year and I’m fully confident they will help her thrive. Great that they can earn some money and work experience from their talents. Just so happy to have this website. Also no hidden costs and overseen by administrators to ensure safety to all parties.

This is a very affordable site and great for young people to earn money. I had a Maths tutor for my son doing his GCSE’s. Aiden was very knowledgable, reliable, and a great communicator. Sometimes I had to change the tutor session with short notice and he was always very flexible and happy to change to another time. He would go through areas my son needed extra help on, then set homework to check his understanding. My son now feels more confident going into his GCSE’s and is getting 2/3 grades higher in practice papers than he was. I would recommend this site.

I've hired a number of people on this site. I've been so impressed by the level of skill and professionalism. The support I required, covered social media content creation, video editing, product packaging design and SEO management.

My experience with this website is great, especially with how they work with young people and also having on boarding calls. I really really recommend this.
