The system is easy to use and reliable.
The only thing I would like to make easier is to remove the “ Shipping Address” from the standard invoice.
Many invoices I issue don’t require a delivery of the items invoiced.

An employee changed his email address so to get his wage statement. I changed his email address in his information details and found the appropriate wage statements and pushed send. Did this twice and he did not receive them by email both times, yes I pushed save both times and the new email address stayed where it was. So then I had to find the statement's again which they seemed to not want to be found. Then download them into a PDF and then go into outlook and make an email to the employee with the wage statement's attached. All this over a 3 hour period texting each other to see if the emails went through, and all this after working on site all day. Not happy Jan!! Will this happen for the next pay, employee not getting emails after I have pushed send?

I have tried numerous times to link my bank account details in the accounts portal for the direct debit payment. I am frustrated that this keeps failing and then I get an overdue notice. Several attempts to have this rectified have failed. I should not have to keep taking to someone for something that should just work from the portal for a basic task.

Myob in the browser is great and the price is what made me switch from xero.
05/11/2025 - The invoice app on Android is like an afterthought, trying to do a new invoice it regularly won't fetch the contacts, with an "oops something went wrong". The only way to make it work is uninstall, then reinstall and login etc. which is a pain as I am on multiple clients/properties most days and want to invoice while I'm out working, not when I get home on the laptop. The 255 character limit in the description is a pain too.
The Capture app has started crashing this week too, it takes a photo of the receipt, then crashes and doesn't send.
I would love to use the invoice app on the go, but have given up on it due to the above.

Myob software has been putting unknown bills into our purchase account for months now,
Myob don't seem to care to fix it or investigate,
talk about fraudulent security concerns!

lately I'm not happy, I felt bullied into upgrading for invoicing when we don't even use MYOB for banking due to scammers!!we don't want our bank details in our account.
I kept ignoring it until I felt I felt I must get this or i won't be able to invoice customers anymore, we were thinking about not using myob anymore, but I wasted over an hour to phone MYOB to make sure they were not going to do anything if I didn't upgrade.

Shanika is patient and kind, and she has guided me through all of my sticky situations. I am grateful to have her as a backup. She doesn't judge, she is an expert in the program and she follows up on anything she thinks I need extra help with. I can't thank her enough.

Increasing issues from slow performance to always needing to close.
Back up prompt issues still appearing after 2 years MYOB doesn't seem to want to find a fix.
Subscription cost increase but useability is getting worse & worse
You'll be paying for the bare minimum in functionality.
After 4 years of usage below my review:
0 - customer service
0 - functionality
0 - customization
0 - export functionality
and so much more...
It's just horrible to use... And god forbid you want to export your OWN data... for example bulk exporting of contacts, uploads or even invoices is literally not possible... I had to write scripts to export things.
DONT USE MYOB. Use Xero! You'll thank me later.
Product is useable but the support is absolutely terrible and documentation is terrible. 50% the support staff have no idea what they are talking about.
I honestly cannot believe that when I called customer service for support, the representative simply read the instructions back to me without providing any real help. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
Literally the worst company to deal with. If you ever need support it’s all offshore. Phone lines are terrible and cancellation process is purposely impossible. You can’t cancel online you must call up. Absolutely shit house
