Overcharged
I booked a service for my car at 100,000 kilometres and paid $390. However, after they inspected the car, they informed me that I needed an 80,000 kilometre service instead. This cost $1,129, which included a wheel alignment for $89. I had no choice but to agree. Later, I checked Toyota’s service and found it much cheaper. Even their website showed a $743 80,000 kilometre service. I told them they had lowered the price to around $1,050. The bill also included an extra $200 for air and other filters, which I found much cheaper at around $30–40. Since I had agreed to the service, I didn’t argue with them. However, after the service, my handbrake was very tight and difficult to pull. The service also wasn’t very professional.
