I can’t recommend My Auto Shop enough. We’ve just moved back from London & needed a car asap, so contacted the Team at My Auto Shop to check out a car we were really keen on but had vague information on. These guys did a thorough check on our vehicle & left us very confident to buy it with no hesitation. Their attention to detail, report & then explanation to my questions has left us very happy & knowing we will use them again in the future. If you want to buy a car & have a full check, leaving you aware of everything you need to know about the car & any issues that need to make be addressed, these guys are the ones to go to. Thank you Ezra, the mechanic who did a great job & then called me & gave me all the info I needed. Highly recommend 5 stars.

Paid $334 for a detailed pre-purchase inspection with notes that I was worried the car had be de-registered in the past due to it being a write off (couldn't confirm that myself at the time as the seller was telling me a different story). The inspection came back with a relative clean bill of health (small issues here and there), but nothing flagged in regards to anything major.

In the meantime, I call Continental Cars who had previously serviced the car...their service department confirm that it had come in with major damage (wheel struts and structural...had hit some concrete bollards) and their quote to fix had lead to the insurance company writing it off.

Should these guys have found it...hard to tell depending on the repair job (I'm definitely no expect myself which is why I tried to hire expects). What is clear, if you are worried a car has been written off in the past then don't expect/assume these guys to find it.

I was excited to book in for a service with this company for the first time, customer service initially was really good and confirmed my booking. I then received a call today from the assigned mechanic who checked if we had shelter, this was not something that I was aware I needed to worry about. However the weather at my property was fine, no rain at all, they asked to move my appointment to afternoon and at this point I just felt as though they were wasting my time. I gave feedback to the call operator and he would not listen, he had an answer for everything and really needs training to understand how to manage call escalations as he did a horrible job. I will never recommend or use this company again, time wasters and the mechanics turn down jobs when the weather is absolutely fine.

Worst experience ever, have called them to replace my light bulb, they sent a mechanic too my home to check the vehicle, he then said he will come back with the replacement bulb and said they will call me when he was ready. But until now still hasn’t come back ,this is dating back of December 2022, have try calling them on the day no reply and evening emailing them is completely helpless, but the point is till this day still no response from them what so ever not even acknowledging me. Can’t call it worst customer service when there wasn’t any service at all.

After getting a 2nd and 3rd opinion, it is obvious that these guys are utterly incompetent. Avoid like the plague!!! Rather go to a proper mechanic for an opinion.

Every time my car service was due there’s a grumble about the thought of logistics to Mazda - the time off work, the organising a pick up - just another task to add to the list of ‘to dos’. But all of that goes away with My Auto Shop! Booking on line was easy, very reasonably priced for a 2 hour comprehensive service, the technician was on time and credit card payment was in the mobile van. Easy! I needed an air filter replaced, he was able to show me the part (and it’s very poor state) before I agreed to replacing and although lots of parts are carried in the technicians vans, this wasn’t but their support service had the part there in 30 mins for installation. Is there any other way to get a car service after My Auto Shop? I don’t think so, brilliant.

Friendly service staff offering the right products to use and friendly customers advice of how to re-fix my side mirror and sent me off to see Ziggy's by the store manager

Good communication and great service. Received report within an hour of San leaving, repairs pending but definitely recommend.

They booked the wrong day for the repair I wanted, fine I adjusted my schedule and got my car ready for the repair

They then call me an hour after the mechanic was meant to carry out the repair telling me to reschedule because the mechanic was not available

Poor service, I needed my car to be working.

Booked rear brake pads and discs rotor replacement for this Wednesday just gone but was bumped down to today. Thankfully they did let me know yesterday via phone call. Recieved email and text about the mechanic coming today. He was slightly unsure whether something else might've been the cause of my problems, from what I had said. Left him to it and all turned out fine, was just the brake pads and rotor discs needing to be replaced. Really glad they have Afterpay as it would've taken me months to save up for the full price, whether via here or an actual garage.

Very honest and reliable services after bad experience with other mechanic shops !! auto shop has got my loyalty one of the first mechanics who explained the problems and what needed to attention to be fixed thank you auto shop your mechanic engineers are fully advance know what they are doing and is honest I love your service will be using you guys frequently the wait was worth it !!!

Booked for a diagnostic test in the morning didn't get a confirmation email so thought I'd email to make sure they had my booking never emailed back phoned in the afternoon only to be told that they had no appointment on record for my vehicle even though they took my money then they got where I was wrong was in chch not Auckland then she said that they are fully booked for two days and she would sort something and call back still waiting for a call back.
*Don't take peoples money then not show.
*Don't say you will call back and then not a txt message does not suffice.
Communication is a simple but effective tool in dealing with mistakes
Will be asking for a refund and will not recommend them to anybody unless they like to be ignored

Gavin was so quick and lovely to deal with. He had replaced both the front brake pad and rotary suggesting replacing my rear brake pad in 6mths. I really appreciated this, it gave me comfort he had checked before I had the chance to ask him. I am admittedly none the wiser about these things so My AutoShop is perfect for someone like me that has no business touching anything in or around an engine. My big ford baby drives like a dream come true again. My entire fam love's your wonderful service, I love your wonderful service. Thank you very much for all your hard work.

Very poor service. Booked for a "Diagnostic" check on vehicle. No mechanical fix required, simply wanting to know what issues identified via Diagnostic test. Received reply following day stating they do not work on my brand of vehicle (Landrover).
Only required Diagnostic test (charged at $145) which is a plug in of your computer through to identify issue - not actual mechanical fix. No response to my follow up querying this.

Tom from myautoshop Christchurch is very friendly and helpful. It's a hassle free process and overall I'm very happy with the service. Well done, surely my go to place now as they come to you super convenient.
