Finger weg! Datenschutz wird missachtet!
Meine Bestellung war in Ordnung und wurde schnell geliefert. Das war’s aber auch schon. Seitdem werde ich mit Werbung bombardiert, die von zig verschiedenen Unternehmen kommt, an die Museum Selection ganz offensichtlich meine Daten weitergegeben hat. Seit Monaten verlange ich Auskunft darüber an wen welche meiner personenbezogenen Daten weitergegeben wurden und habe auch bereits die Löschung meiner personenbezogenen Daten verlangt. Dies habe ich sowohl schriftlich als auch mehrere Male telefonisch getan, da auf meine schriftliche Aufforderung keine Reaktion kam.
Bis heute habe ich weder Auskunft bekommen, worauf ich nach § 34 BDSG ein Recht habe, noch wurden meine Daten gelöscht, da ich immer noch Werbung erhalte.
Demnächst werde ich mich wohl an die Verbraucherschutzzentrale bzw. den Landesdatenschutzbeauftragten wenden müssen. So geht es nicht weiter!
Wer gerne mit Werbung zugemüllt wird und seine Daten freiwillig jedem Dahergelaufenen in den Rachen wirft, darf gerne hier bestellen.
Für alle anderen: FINGER WEG!!!

Faux vous me dites que ma facture n'atteignait pas 75 euros. Elle était de 83,70 frais de port inclus. Ce qui faisait une fourniture de 75,75 euros.

Absolute rubbish
Absolute rubbish. Stay away from this company. I placed an order over a month ago. Everything I ordered was in stock. They informed that it would take 10-15 days. Fair enough, Christmas coming up and all. After a month I contacted them asking where my order was, wow - the answer was (and I see here that this happened to others too) "it is being prepared in the warehouse right now"! then next day it's actually on it's way! delivery day comes and it's not my full order! I find an email where they cancel that item as it's not in stock. so why the hell have I not been told earlier? and why haven't I been refunded earlier? and why do they let people order when they clearly don't have the items? reading other reviews I can only hope to get my money back! I have ordered from this company before, but I will never again use them.

COVID-related issues, but customer service put it right.
I did have a negative experience with Museum Selection, as I purchased three items, and only one was available. I wasn't notified until fairly close to Christmas that the other two items could not be supplied, and the one item that was available was dispatched almost a month after the purchase was made.
I wouldn't have paid (international) postage for just one item if I'd known, as it cost almost as much as the item itself.
However, I was contacted by Museum Selection in response to this review and they explained how and why COVID has affected their supply, and refunded my delivery fee, which was very kind.
I've altered my review as their response was speedy and helpful and I have a better understanding of how COVID is affecting British businesses.

Abysmal customer service and basic quality products
I placed my order nearly a month ago for Christmas cards and they finally arrived on 17th December - probably too late to get them out in time.
Customer service were disinterested and unhelpful - the last person I spoke to was downright incompetent and certainly couldn't have cared less.
They told me they had no tracking on one call, another time they told me the parcel tracking said it was "on it's way", then another they decided to give me the tracking information - only it didn't work. The latest call they just told me they should arrive sometime this week. They took no responsibility and simply blamed Royal Mail.
I only bought from them as I thought it was a charity supporting museums and it turns out they aren't.
I will never buy from this company again and would recommend others steer clear - or order many months in advance. Even the products are fairly basic in quality when they finally turned up. So disappointing.

Awful Customer Service
Awful Customer Service, only one thing on my Xmas present order turned up, 3 others didn't. No emails, no advice, when I called a 3rd party extremely casual and unhelpful man said they weren't coming till 18th January! When I said I wanted to put in a complaint said there was no way they could do that!

Christmas cards from Museum…
We ordered Christmas cards from Museum Selection. Despite repeated phone calls and promises still not arrived 3 weeks later Always excuses and really not wanting to take any responsibility, even a could not care less attitude. Other charities offering Christmas cards all delivered in a few days. Avoid this company.
Also they will state they have good reviews on Feefo. This is an unreliable review site, do an internet search.
12 days to despatch an item. Pathetic service.
They state items in stock despatch very quickly. Ordered item marked as in stock, after a week not received so e mailed them, they replied it was despatching that day(!). After a few more days, asked how long it should take as still not received. Told it was being prepared for despatch! Told them cancel it, no longer want it. Have now been notified it has been mailed to me.
As a long standing customer I am appalled at their poor customer service which I had not experienced previously. I won't be experiencing it again though as I will not be using this company anymore.
Twelve days from order to despatch is pathetic service.
UPDATE: Following their latest update with a tracking number, I check with Royal Mail who, 36 hours later, still have no record of this package. Have they actually despatched it, or are they telling more porkies...?

Longstanding customer lost.
Oh dear! What has gone wrong with this company? I have shopped with them for years; love their ‘old fashioned’ greetings cards.
I have just tried to place an order online but transaction was refused, stating payment could not be accepted. As I had just used this card with another company, no problem, I engaged in ‘chat’.
First question to me:
‘Are you using an iPad?’
‘Yes’
Apparently they have been having problems with people trying to place orders via iPads.
I was advised to ring them to place an order.
Is this good customer service?
Please - at least offer to ring me!
I despair at how (some) companies are treating their customers; almost with disdain or at the very least indifference.
How I wish for customer service of yesteryear but I fear that will never return.
How sad.

Absolutely not worth the money. Thin quality, incredibly lightweight and small. The detail on them is also very poor quality. I would not recommend them.
Update..... I wrote this review on 20th March 2020. I got a reply from Museum Selection on November 8th 2020. Almost 8 months later. Not really speedy service. The bat's remain in a box in the cupboard unused. Sending them back now would be a tad late don't you think, plus the cost given we don't live in the UK.
Hi, I was actually invited to do this review on Trust pilot by you not to do it on feefo. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have done a review. My review was not for personal gain but simply so other people wouldn't be disappointed with these items. I'd forgotten about them by now.

Museum Selection abuse de la confiance de personnes agées. Ma grand mere a commandé des objets il y a plusieurs mois (avant Noel!!!!), dont une lampe dont elle n'a recu que l'abat-jour, apres avoir appelé pour exprimer notre mécontentement on nous a renvoyé....un abat jour! On a rappelé et on nous a finalement envoyé le pied de la lampe.... cassé!! C'est une HONTE je n'ai jamais vu ca (et l'histoire de la lampe n'est qu'une parmi d['autres!!!). A éviter completement, cette entreprise mérite d'etre poursuivie en justice pour ses pratiques scandaleuses.

Poor customer service
I have bought numerous items from Museum Selection and generally been well pleased with them. With their customer service regarding two recent orders, however, I find little to admire. The two orders sent by post each consisted of two items one of which proved not to be available. No word of this unavailability was sent to me, although both cheques were cashed in full. Attempts to sort this out by post, e-mail and telephone have yet to produce any positive response after nearly two months..
BUYER BEWARE
BUYER BEWARE! Within 90 minutes of placing an order with Museum Selection, I emailed Customer Service (approx. 12:30 Friday, Jan. 2) and asked to cancel the order. Early Sat., Jan.3, Mr. Liam Millar wrote back saying that the order number I gave did not exist and he could not locate my order.
I immediately emailed Mr. Millar and attached the order confirmation that Museum Selection sent me. The order number in their confirmation email was the same that I referenced initially, but that Mr. Millar said did not exist. Yet, when I called my credit card company they said Museum Selection had begun to process my order, as the funds had been approved but the company hadn’t withdrawn them yet and the transaction had not been completed on their end.
Yesterday, Jan.4th, I sent two further emails , requesting that my order be cancelled and asking for an acknowledgment. I have heard nothing from Customer Service, despite the fact that they advertise that someone is available Mon.-Sun.
My credit card company suggested that other customers in similar situations refuse to receive the goods and have them returned to the company. There is nothing that I can do to stop the company from shipping my order. I must file a dispute after the fact.
The Papyrus stationery stores in San Francisco carry Museum Selection cards.
I am a good customer, and known by several of the managers. I will tell them about my experience, and perhaps it won’t be too late for them to intervene on my behalf.

Dreadful company and won't refund your money.
Dreadful company. I ordered a Mackintosh pewter posy vase as a present at £17.98 plus £4.99 postage. When it arrived it was so small it was embarrassing to give to anyone. I returned it (at £3.70 postage).
It didn't show up on the Royal Mail tracking as being delivered but when I contacted Museum Selection they said they had received it.
Promised to send my refund and I'm still waiting! 11 days and still no refund!! They are quick to take your money but won't give it back. I am now over £26 out of pocket.
Steer clear of this company they are terrible.

Now they have sent me a letter saying a cheque is being sent as a refund! A CHEQUE! IN 2019! Why cant they credit my original card?
If like me you are housebound how do you cash a cheque?

I ordered 3 items all were of such poor…
I ordered 3 items all were of such poor quality I wanted to return them for a refund. I have contacted the company 3 times for a return label and have received a letter telling me a return label was enclosed. It wasn't and 2 assurances that the operative would send me the label that day. I suspect poor faith and advise others not ti trust this company.
Great customer service
I was recently gifted an item, however it was not to my taste. I didn't want to let the gifter know i wanted to exchange it. Obviously I didn't have the receipt and i didn't have any information other than the order number. I contacted 'museum selection' and their customer service department couldn't of been more helpful. I was allowed to exchange my item with no issue and return my original gift for free. My new items were dispatched very quickly and came beautifully packaged. I would reorder from this company.

Both were severely damaged when delivered. One had a 4 ins section of veneer coming away. With the other one the door bottom dropped out when the drawer was opened and the corner of the top was chipped. It was clear that they had been packed in this damaged state.The quality was simply awful.
A return collection was arranged and confirmed by both a telephone call and E-Mail but the courier never came. Museum Selection then confirmed that they had failed to order the collection. A wasted day waiting for a courier to come .......
I asked Museum Selection to compensate me for all the bubble wrap I had to buy to return the tables. They promised they would investigate what they could do and that they would get back to me. They never did.
My advice is to avoid buying from this company.

Where do I start...
Where do I start.... order placed and acknowledged 22nd November. Two weeks later no further info so I emailed asking when my order would arrive. The site says I should expect a response in 48hrs. A week later - nothing. So I email again and decide to phone as well. On the phone I’m advised that there has been a glitch in the system and my order should have been dispatched. I’m advised it will go ASAP. All the systems fault.
Then I get a response to my email - stating sorry my items were out of stock, now in stock... not their fault. This is so obviously not true as the items were end of line sale items, why would they restock.
So to add insult to injury I was lied to.
Today is 22nd December - no order received. One item in the package is my daughters main Christmas gift and I am sure it will now not arrive in time.

ordered 3 glass birth date colours teardrops,As hand blown I know colours and sizes vary 'slightly' from advert, but actually they varied wildly. One was yellow when I ordered a blue and green. They also do not pick up 'unless it's furniture' and charge for returns.
They did in the end send me a free returns label, after I phoned.
