Ware kam dann recht spät und Bezahlung passte. Aber seitdem werde ich mit Werbeprospekten von Weiß Gott woher, zuletzt aus den Niederladen, zugemüllt. Datenschutz kennen die wohl nicht, da werden munter zu Verdienstzwecken die Adressen weitergegeben. Ein no go!,
Ich rate, Finger weg von diesem Unternehmen!
When things go wrong.........
Sometimes things go wrong - in this case a large box of items I had ordered arrived with damaged goods. It appeared something very heavy had been dropped on my box.
I called customer service and spoke to Peter who was very helpful and asked me to send an email with photos. He was most reassuring saying he would immediately replace the damaged items.
The very next day I got an email of apology from Nikki who again reiterated the damaged items were being replaced. The same day I received a notification that these items were on the way - obviously at no charge to me.
When things go wrong it is how they are dealt with that matters. The customer service at Museum Selection has been exemplary. Thank you all. I will be ordering again with confidence.
Gute Qualität
Die Lieferung erfolgte in der angekündigten Zeit, die Qualität der Ware ist gut, ich weiß es, da ich das gleiche Teil vom Hersteller besitze, und sieht genau so aus wie abgebildet. Gerne wieder.
Ware wird sofort bezahlt und nicht geliefert.
Bestellte Ware wurde sofort bezahlt aber MONATE später noch nichts geliefert. Eine Tunika, die ich sofort zurück geschickt habe, ist im Voraus bezahlt worden aber bis heute kein Geld zurück erstattet. Auf Nachfrage wird schleppend geantwortet.
Ein unseriöses Unternehmen!
RIECHT NACH BETRUGSVERSUCH
Wunderschöner Katalog - eine Seite schöner als die nächste - daher hatte ich am 9.2.23 bestellt und freute mich sehr auf die Ware.
Es wurde ewig nicht geliefert, bei Lieferung zeigte sich, dass die Waren sehr kleine Miniaturausgaben waren (offensichtlich um Material zu sparen) und daher ein No-Go. Waren umgehend zurückgeschickt mit deutlichem handschriftlichem Hinweis auf den Grund der Rücksendung (das war ein ganzer Absatz mit Erläuterung meiner Verärgerung über die kleine Ausführung der Waren) und mit Retourenlabel.
Heute - 6 Wochen später - bekomme ich eine Email, ich hätte noch ein offenes Kundenkonto mit knapp 200€ Minusbetrag seit 9.2.23 (den Bestelltag - Lieferung war Minimum 4 Wo später) und solle sofort nachfolgendes Formular ausfüllen, damit die Angelegenheit noch einmal "mit der Hausbank" von MuseumSelection geprüft werden könne. Man verlangt JETZT Nachweisbeleg, ohne vorangegangene Mahnung in den Wochen nach Retourenrückgabe - man weiss also, dass die Retoure eingegangen ist!!
DAS RIECHT NACH BEWUSSTEM BETRUGSVERSUCH - man kann nur raten: so schön die Waren sind, auf keinen Fall bestellen! Der Kundenservice ist telefonisch auch kaum zu erreichen (heute noch gar nicht trotz mehrmaliger Versuche).

Commande le 05 avril. Rien reçu 15 jours plus tard, je téléphone, et reçois un mail me précisant qu'un article est indisponible jusqu'en juillet, tout sera envoyé en même temps pour économiser du CO2 ! Finalement on me rembourse, TOUT est indisponible.

A shambles
I ordered two items from this company, on 10 and 21 Feb. The first item was a preorder and was supposed to be delivered ‘from 21 Feb.’. The second item was ‘last few remaining’ but IN STOCK. The 21st Feb. rolls around and I hear nothing; I email to ask when I might expect to receive both items. The reply? Both items are out of stock: the first will be in stock again on 22 March, the second on 12 March. 12 March rolls around and nothing arrives. Weeks and weeks follow in which nothing at all arrives and I am given various excuses by email and on the phone when I contact them (they NEVER contacted me ONCE to say there would be delay), and the excuses changed according to the person I speak to. One item was said to be in the warehouse but not yet scanned – a month followed and nothing arrived. They telephoned to say one item would be sent to me ‘express’ – nothing arrived. At the time of writing, 19 April, an item that I ordered on 10 Feb. arrived yesterday; the other item remains outstanding, with no notice of dispatch. I have promised these items as gifts so I cannot cancel the orders, but I must say this company is in chaos: the stock levels on their website do not reflect reality, items are delayed without any pro-active communication from the company telling you about the delay and all the while they have your money and you have nothing to show for it. A great shame, because they have some lovely items for sale, but getting them to send them to you is like getting blood from a stone.
Update: I have provided the relevant details to Trustpilot so Museum Selection can respond - though I don't see how any of this can be justified.

Non delivery of gifts in time for Easter
Ordered items for Easter in early March and one item arrived promptly, the remaining two Russian Mini Egg filled tins have yet to arrive. This is despite phoning on Friday 7th April and told they have been despatched and would be delivered today (Saturday 8th April), needless to say they have not arrived. As these items are for Easter gifts I am going to have to go shopping on Sunday for replacements. This is extremely disappointing and I should have been told there was an issue. Not impressed

EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE
I am always extremely happy with the quality and wide variety of items at Museum Selection. I also have to say how excellent their Customer Service is.
I recently received an item that was not quite as required. On contacting the company, the correct one arrived the next day. In fact, I received another a few days later! When I reported this, they apologised and insisted I keep both. Exemplary customer interraction.
SERVICE OKAY FOR FULL PRICE ITEMS, BUT DON'T EXPECT TO GET YOUR ORDER IF YOU GOT THEM ON SALE
I don't like leaving negative feedback but I've run out of patience for Museum Selection (if you check my previous reviews, I like leaving 5 stars because I know most people only tend to leave reviews when they have had bad experiences). I waited for two months for two lots of items. First their reasoning was they were moving warehouses although they said the items would appear as "pre-order." Once they could not fulfil the order, they said their supplier failed them (what is it, then?). I don't like that it seemed they made the moving warehouses as an excuse, CHARGE YOU STRAIGHTAWAY FOR PRE-ORDERING, and then say, oh, turns out we don't have the goods. I was very patient with them to begin with, two times in two months I asked for updates, they promised me dates which they couldn't fulfil. I didn't make any fuss, i was okay not receiving my items, until this last bit when they said I'd receive my refund within five working days. They wrote that on 4th of March and after a few emails following up, and even though I originally paid via paypal, I got sent a cheque via post more than two weeks later, which was another inconvenience as I tried to deposit it online but it didn't work and I had to physically go to the post office to deposit said cheque. I will not order from this company anymore, including their other sister companies that they keep me sending catalogues for via post (without my consent) - Culture Vulture, Pia Jewellery. I don't like companies that will go through great lengths to advertise themselves, including selling your data. It also seems that their Customer Service replies quickly, but it's all words, no actions.

Ich muss meine negative Meinung zu dem Shop Museum Selection etwas revidieren. Nach meiner glücklosen Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Team vom deutschen Kundendienst setzte ich mich mit dem Team vom englischen Kundendienst in Verbindung. Dieses Team reagierte SOFORT und veranlasste umgehend eine Neuzustellung des defekten Produkts. Ich würde also jedem raten, der der englischen Sprache mächtig ist, sich direkt an den englischen Kundendienst zu wenden, der doch noch ein anderes Verhältnis zum Kunden hat und wenigstens um eine Lösung des Problems bemüht ist. Den englischen Kollegen sei Dank; daher zwei Sterne mehr!!!
Slow reaction to returns but quick to complaints
I bought a blouse and a dress from this website. Blouse was okayish!! Dress was beautiful. I loved it and put it away to be ironed. Some days later when I was ironing it I noticed some small labels embedded in the fabric. Impossible to remove. I contacted the company for an exchange and straight away they sent me a returns label. I posted the dress back. 10 days later I contacted them to ask about the exchange. They told me that a refund would take up to 14 days. I reminded them that I wanted an exchange. 10 more days later I had to contact them again. One email came detailing that a dress was on its way to me. Second email told that no dress was left in stock. Such lousy approach to a simple exchange resulted in me not getting the dress I wanted. I asked for a refund which arrived in the form of a cheque today, angering me further. Who refunds their customers with a cheque when they received money through a credit card. I am very disappointed with this company.
Upon my above review the customer service contacted me immediately asking for details of my order and they offered discount which I accepted towards my previous order. I am impressed with their quick response to the review but it shouldn’t have come to this. Nevertheless, they acted quickly and apologised. I hope that their return service improves.

Rückerstattung des Kaufpreises wird verschleppt
Noch im Dezember 2022 habe ich eine Tasche zurück geschickt, was auch bestätigt wurde.
Trotz mehrerer E-mails hin und her, habe ich bis heute meine Zahlung nicht zurück erhalten. Im Januar d.J. wurde ich damit vertröstet, dass die Kollegen in England (!!!) informiert wurden.
Aber es tut sich nichts.
Am Servicetelefon kommt man nur mit einer armen Auszubildenden in Kontakt, die gar nichts sagen kann.
Nie wieder bestelle ich etwas bei "Museum Selection"
Lovely products, shamed by human errors
Full marks for lovely looking printed catalogue. Zero marks for customer service/delivery. I have just paid extra for next day delivery and the items are 4 days overdue. Have emailed the company to find out what is going on - no reply as yet. Last time I used them they put the wrong item out for delivery and it arrived all broken and smashed. I will not use them again, but in the meantime want my ordered goods and a refund of the extra delivery charge I paid.
Addendum: the staff only contacted me after I wrote above review. They confirmed staff error in the packing/despatch to courier dept. They say carriage will be refunded to me and have offered me a discount on future purchases. BUT after thinking about it - and having to cancel my appointments for a day because courier DPD cannot change the date of delivery (4 hours wasted trying to change date) I will stand by my decision NOT to order any further goods from Museum Selection. Not worth the hassle.

Geld wir kassiert, Ware nicht geliefert
Bestellung Mitte Januar aufgegeben, das Geld wurde sofort über Paypal abgezogen. Die Ware wurde trotz mehrmaligem Nachfragen nicht geliefert. Auf email wird nicht geantwortet, eine Unverschämtheit ist das. Kann nur jedem abraten, dort zu bestellen.

Anfang Dezember 2022 bestellte ich ein Puzzle. Der Rechnungsbetrag in Höhe von 24,14 € wurde meinem Konto belastet. Die Ware konnte zunächst jedoch nicht zugestellt werden, da mir bei der Nennung der Adresse ein Fehler unterlaufen ist. Telefonisch habe ich das nachgeholt. Mir wurde gesagt, man werde versuchen, die Ware erneut zuzustellen. Falls dies nicht möglich wäre, erhielte ich den Kaufpreis erstattet. Weder das eine, noch das andere geschah, obwohl ich mehrfach per E-mail und auch einmal telefonisch die Lieferung der Ware oder Erstattung des Kaufpreises angemahnt habe.

Wasteful with packaging
This company sell lovely products but the way they package stuff is soooo wasteful. Massive cardboard boxes to put tiny stuff in, then fill up with loads of plastic as cushioning - umm if you didn't use such massive cardboard boxes you would not need a load of plastic. Their jewellery is lovely, but in ridiculously large boxes - utter waste!
I bought the Christmas Cottage Advent…
I bought the Christmas Cottage Advent calendar. It looked beautiful and thought it would make a fun gift for my Grandson. However, although described as die cut card it is little more than thick paper. The little boxes where we would place the toy/sweet is so fragile it will probably tear on pulling out. I have spent several hours pasting cardboard inside to make it a little more sturdy. The idea that it can be, as they put it: "Welcome the spirit of Christmas into your home year after year with a charming, reusable advent calendar cottage" is laughable.
